Episode would of been much better if the fight lasted longer and have beale survive and Rick gets away and finds Michonne and them two get in a helicopter and fly to Alexandria and reunite with everyone and help everyone prepare for a major battle against CRM then that leads up to a season 2

Definitely on the director more than him. If you’ve seen his other work such as in Lost you would know he’s a great actor

this scene really caught me offguard because i wasen't expecting them to wrap crm up so fast but after a few months and rewatching it really was a solid show from start to finish.

i think beale died way too easy. And I dont even want to start talking about how two people just destroyed the entire crm. the biggest enemy of all with a few grenades. and after there entire military was eradicated the citizens just decided they need no one protecting them and they should help everyone instead. I really hated this series. It was just completely unrealistic und love story only.
This show was never realistic to begin with. Plus they did say this was going to be an epic love story emphasis on the love story.
Agreed. I would have loved to atleast see how Rick and Michonne interacted with the civilians or how the reforms happened. Before the Frontliners were wiped out Beale still had high popularity. There definitely had to be some politicians and leaders questioning stuff.
I get the impression they had considered making it a more complex story that would be ultimately about changing the CRM from the inside through diplomacy to make them an ultimate force for good, with Rick becoming the new military leader (or atleast I thought it was going this way..)
..and then the writers probably remembered they were under strict budget and time restraints and had an audience demographic that don't care for that and only want to see violence and explosions..

I wish that they would've kept Major General Beale around since he would've made a great villain for everyone to fight against.
I went back and watched 11 seasons of Walking Dead with 3 seasons I never saw (mostly sucked) so I could be prepared for these spinoffs with Rick the helicopter army, the Paris stuff, and the New York stuff. The Paris stuff sucked. This scene looks like the Rick series sucks. I only hope the New York series doesn't suck. I might also try watching Fear of the Walking dead that I gave up in season 3 to see if Morgan helped that show out in the later seasons.

@@NeganRUS I am glad the Negan New York one is fine. I don't like the Maggie character after Glen died so I expect her to be the worst part of that series. She will shoot people in the back with no issues but has an issue with her husband being killed like it was pre-zombie days again.

It was good up to ep 3 or 4. Then it became a full on love story about 2 "super heroes" with the dumbest plot armor that literally took down the whole CRM by themselves and reformed them. Like what?
I can imagine taking down most of the crm soldiers but have some kind of loss. Maybe crm is scattered with less than 50% of their weapons and equipment (maybe get rid of the chlorine gas completely) but now the crm is a scattered with different 'A' leaders and are still in communication trying to act dead or hide before gathering more fire power.
Meanwhile, rick and michonne barely escaped after dealing with a good section of CRM try and find their old comrades again to gather their own group to deal with the rest of crm.
