Hey Paul, this video is amazing and I have been watching your channel and Adam C a lot lately because I want a buccochromis breeding group. My local fish store has nototaenia or rhoadesii, but I don’t know which one to go with. I would love to get Lepturus, but I figured I would start with what my store has first. Plus I only have a 75 for a group right now. Any suggestions?
Hey man! Thanks for watching my stuff! You really can’t go wrong with either. You might get away with a 75, but I would go 6ft 125 as a min. I got mine cheap off Craigslist and local Facebook groups. Check your area.

You seem to have a lot of fish deaths. You have bare bottom tanks so you don't have the gravel bed to ward off nitrite spikes which are probably why you have those fish deaths.
Hey Steve, the reason I lost a lot of those colonies was a huge cross contamination issue. My fishroom aquariums get daily water changes.

1) 6” yellow lab
2) 5” red cap
3) 2.5” Usisya
4) 3.5” johnstoni
5) 4” Z Rock
6) 4.5” Masoni
7) 4.5” Albino Sunshine
8) 4.5” Deep Water Electra
9) Two 4.5” Lemon Jakes
Since I only have 75gl tank do you think if I add Natotaenia to my tank he will get over 7”?
I also like Aristochromis Christyi, do you think if I add him to my tank he will get over 7”?
Do you see any problem adding natotaenia and/or christyi to my tank?
By the way, I wanted to add them when they are small about 3” male only.
If you were to get the Nototaenia and the Christyi I would have a 6ft tank min. They need swim room
