    Looks at easier than sewing strips on the center and working outwards and doing the whole block that way. This gives a nice angular design 👍🏻💙

    У нас, в России, такая техника называется "палочки для суши"😂.
    С новым годом и Рождеством Христовым! ❤❤❤

    So beautifully done. I've tried this technique before and can never get the lines straight.

      There is a trick to it. Make a little mark on your strip and the 2 block parts just after you cut, but before moving them apart.

      I didn't have any difficulties sewing this block.

    This is the first time i have ever commented on any video. Please, for new quilters who may watch you, learn the correct way to use the rotary cutter. It is difficult to correct bad techniques, I know, but please, for the sake of your audience,do.

      @lindahorton9488 6 месяцев назад +1

      I have to agree with you completely. Drawing the rotary blade toward yourself when cutting and then seemingly not closing the blade when you lay it on the table are disaster waiting to happen. Very bad technique. Please be more careful.

      Thank you for your comment! But this is not a matter of bad habits, but of my sore hand; I simply physically cannot cut differently. And in the credits I write that it is unsafe to repeat this technique after me!

      @themelodyofsewing6369  6 месяцев назад +2

      @@lindahorton9488 The blade retracts automatically. And when the knife is on the table, it is absolutely safe. And I cut it this way because I simply can’t do it any other way!
