That guy should have no trouble making friends when he's ready. He seems so honest and pure, like the friend everybody would want. Such a sweetheart.
He’s being honest in this context, with Teal. This guy would have a real hard time being this vulnerable with others, given his upbringing and broken family. It takes a lot of work to work through the shame of feeling unwanted as a child, which translates into perfectionism and and inability to be seen as a full person by others, no matter how much you may want connection.

I gotta say, I've watched a lot of Teal's videos, but this is the one that most helped my expansion. The guy on stage simply described my desperate need for independence and wanting money, and the breaktrough they had resonated in me as well. Thank you so much for sharing these workshops. It's amazing to watch Her videos and learn from them, but it's even more incredible, and easier to relate, when you watch someone with your exact struggles describing what you can't find the words to. I hope that he, as well as me, find a way to what we truly want, after a lifetime of a domestic environment proving otherwise.

I'm glad she picked him, I can see myself in him, I want the success without my family because I'm always getting hurt in the process. I figured something out about myself. The question I ask the inner ME is why are you holding me back. I got my answer with this video.

In high school my mother wasn't around. My dad wasn't around , he left us and my mom left me. I grow up with my aunt and that was hell. Now I'm in college and everyone wants to be a family, I can't just pretend that everything didn't happen, I forgive my mom and Dad but I need a LIFE away from them. They left me for their own selfishness because they realize they didn't love each other. 😏 so yes I pick success over my broken family

A Beautiful Journey Yep!! My aunt's and uncle's said I have to help my mother because she needs me. I had to laugh to myself because I remember when I begged her not to leave me as a child. I like to be alone now, I really don't want any friends I push people away because I hate getting hurt.

This was so profound and eye opening. But I felt like one thing they didn't get to was the fact that he thinks he doesn't have much to offer to anyone else. He doesn't recognize his own value and he doesn't know himself enough to realize how much he's worth. I think with practicing self love he will see that he does have things to offer and then he will feel more of a desire to connect with someone else. It stood out to me as an underlying cause for even this entire problem he has.

Especially as an empath, the statement of growing up in an invalidating environment & losing touch with my emotions is profound. A deeper reason for the disconnection with self while feeling everyone's feelings which created physical illness. The body screamed for attention, because I didn't know how (or even that it was okay) to feel my own feelings. The value of self not being tied to what I do for others is key.

Watching this made me cry as I've been in a tug of war with myself since being a little girl. I always wanted to be wanted needed n loved but wasn't really shown any so I grew up never knowing how to receive love or give it so I stayed in active addiction n alcoholism for 36 years. I'm waking up spiritually now sometimes quickly sometimes slowly n self love is the hardest for me but I'm working on it. Thankyou for sharing I love your videos as they go deep n i can connect to them xx

I can so relate to this guy. Grew up in a similar way, thrived to financial success, had it for a while but then I started to feel completely burned-out. Gosh I think this is a huge issue for men because we as men are expected to thrive and have financial success but oh dear connecting with our own feelings and essence... we still have a long way to go!
Today they expect the same from women too.. and I regret to have spent so much time to an illusional career..
So this is literally everything to do with the self. I am in the exact same position, and what I understand now is that it’s not literally about going out of your way to go and find connection as if some one is holding it and waiting for you to claim it, it’s more so about being in harmony with every aspect of you first, loving yourself, so that you can accept your reflection in other people. Anything else is secondary??

@@ledbysoulyoga3 What I got from the video is that the man does not believe he can get connection and success at the same time. The part of him that Teal embodied was a part of him that didn’t want success or money because to them it meant losing people. I think the solution would be to find connection and love from people who won’t make it conditional, like basing their love for him on his career or how much money he makes. Find people who will love you regardless of what you do. It’s much easier said than done of course, and it is a process but it will be very worth it.

Omg how relatable....I literally have changed my goals to manifesting money instead of love or connection because I figured i have no hope there so changed direction. Wow to Teal bringing us together to see we aren't alone in these feelings and to understand the depth of why.

Teal, I am a Pisces Ascendant and extremely sensitive woman who grew up around narcissistic parents. I have had no boundaries and that has been a problem. Thank you so much for picking him
bruh this made me cry so much the whole time wtf
I don't care if people like me. If they do, great. If they don't then it's no skin off my nose. I'm going to be 33 this year and I have transformed from the girl I was at school wanting kids to like me. The thing is people respond hugely to people who are authentic, and if you want people to like you - you are trying to hard and in doing so you come across as insecure. It's not a huge deal if people like me or not, I guess I'm becoming more and more comfortable being myself. I do have confidence, I think what didn't help for me though was when I was younger I stammered, I was bullied to the point I developed a stammer. I just know that to get on I need to work on myself and I have no problem getting deep or facing the hard truths but I do get that what this guy is saying is something that I'd say to myself years ago. When I leave home and I have my own place I won't need my parents anymore. When I am 18 I will be free of my parents. I think these are just dreams and we tell ourselves things like getting a job, earning money because it sounds like a better way to deal, so we dream. We don't actually do anything about it. I remember years ago where I would be on the sofa with my Mom and she said give us a cuddle now I can't remember the last time I have had that with her. Occasionally when I'm at Mom's one of us will decide I wanna cuddle. I do feel close to her and the relationship has survived its teenage years but I think if I'm doing all these changes why can't my mom do the same. Stupid thing is we don't talk as much as we should and that stumps our relationship growth. My Mom isn't a narasaist but she does have traits of one and depending on what mood she is in she don't always have empathy. But then sometimes I wonder should I just accept her for who she is rather than saying you should be kinder, thoughtful but when she gets off the phone to me, she tells me that she loves me and I like that. I'm actually trying to listen to her kind words rather than the demon voices in my head that make me want to pull away. She has her moments where she acts all grandeous but I'm trying to accept her for who she is because I realise the only person I can change is me and get better at backing up my boundaries.

Yes, the mic pre is hot and they didn't seem to remove the room sound before hand. There was a moment where they were trying some subtractive EQ while she was talking, though it didn't fix the issue.

"I feel like there's nobody who's gonna want us" Those words resonated so much with me, when I heard her say it tears wouldn't stop flowing. Wow.
Really amazing to see how you work through this mans blind spot or block... and for hims to interact with his inner conflict of avoidance, desires, and purpose. I had a very similar upbringing and although I'm present to it's impact, conditioning, and my survival strategies, I see how I inhered others pain of judgment plus my own judgment that mistreated my inner child or authentic self. The transformative and spiritual path I've taken has shown me the possibility of self love and relating to myself as a creator here to experience lessons to evolve and that the universe is supporting me. I'm very blessed to discover a spiritual aspect to life where I get to choose "who I be" and let go of the identity "meanings" to be present and connect with others. This reawakened that... Thank you for this video!

she reflects 100% of my inner being. I had same case that's why i had to come back to my mom's home and clear everything out with my part that has been deeply hurt. I had to forgive my parents, and appologize for not loving them and release myself from that guilt. Accept the fact that it was my choice to be independent I've chosen parents who neglected my feelings and tried to even kill me.

This is me in a nutshell. My whole life I felt like an outcast no one would want me or accept me for who I was. But luckily I had my mother who was always there for me but the family expected me to be a certain way to feel loved which deep down causes resentment like there was something wrong with me. I thought if I focused on attaining money it would solve my issues but when my auntie who is also a spiritual teacher made me do an exercise which was to outline the reasons why you wanted money while talking and staring at someone across the room while they continue to ask. "What does money mean to you" I couldn't answer that question I struggled and only came with 3 answers then I had the realisation that money was not as important to me as I thought it was. I looked inside myself and came with an unsettling truth I wanted freinds but not just freinds but more importantly I craved acceptance I needed to feel like i mattered in this universe. To this day I think if I become something, have nice cars then people will accept me but I guess it will be that way for the wrong reasons. Money isn't evil and it should be desired as it's an important tool but I was wanting it for the wrong reasons to buy love.

This is extrodinary. A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF ME. I wl watch this a few more time to graso all of what you with this guy. Im a christian who doesnt feel free.. chrustianity calls what you do a no no. I was reluctant to watch thus vid but compelled to watch it. Wisdom is wisdim where ever it come. I know i was meant to watch is, Deep down as ive thought about my life connection always coms up.... everytime but i discounted it. I first noted this when i was 7 yrs okd. It has stuck with me for 53 yrs. Ive never gotteb to rhe place i wabted to be be. Ive made poor choices, married the wrong people. Ive had some successes but they are temporary. Im the younger guy in this vid at 60. Wish i had seen this at 40. At 30 i was chasing dreams. The yuppy kinda era. Ty
Don't stop dreaming. And don't give up! You still have time to enjoy life so enjoy life as much as possible. When you're 90, you might regret that you didn't just enjoy your life now instead of living in regret about when you discovered this knowledge. So enjoy your life now. Go heal, get connection, and then do what you love as much as possible and you should eventually have a happy life. If your life isn't already happy that is, then your life will be happy if you just stay happy most of the time and then by the law of attraction your life will be happy. Watch Teal's videos about the law of attraction if you have no idea about what I'm talking about right now then I'll make sense lol

Aww cool. Never stop questioning people though. I love Teal and I believe everything she says for the most part and there's lots of spiritual teachers I believe but I don't think that anyone knows everything. Like how Teal is always talking about how important veganism is. I just don't think you need to be vegan to open your third eye chakra for example. I also don't know if Abraham is right about everything that she says about aliens. But I believe in these teachers, just not blindly lol. I think I see a lot of people kind of blindly believing someone knows everything and I used to be like that but as I raised my vibration I realized that maybe they don't know everything. Because if they did know everything then why are there so many spiritual teachers with slightly different teachings? You just have to try out their information and if it resonates with me then I try it out. I'm just an indigo so I have to question everyone though I am definitely not a skeptic.

The time had stopped the moment they started talking in the stage. I cried, I laughed, I heard, I understood but then I was distracted too. Very good example of how and why we’re not growing up. I am in need to grow up or I’ll eventually destroy myself emotionally. By thinking that I am not love, that I am not deserving of love and therefore I don’t want love because I can’t have it.
I love the blooming experience I'm having as I keep watching these videos. Taking notes and meeting with new aspects of myself. This just created a party 😂💃🏽

Oh i loved this strategy. It helped me understand why I want the things I want and why I’m not getting it. For instance, I want to be married, to be proposed to and it hasn’t happened even with being in a long term relationship with a lovely partner. Then it hit me, I don’t want the proposal I want to feel safe, connected and validated. If I don’t work on creating my boundaries, attuning to myself and my intentions and honoring my wants and needs, how can I expect someone else to do that? Mind blown 🤯. Thank you for this awareness.

This is so crazy. I’m going through the EXACT situation right now with my parents too. I know I need to move out but so can’t afford to. I recently found out that I’m gonna have to stay a few more months than I planned and aim really upset. I know exactly what needs to change now because of this video. What a sweetheart. We are all one and it is all a projection of aspects of our own psyche. We run the movie reel. Even the horrors, traumas and tragedies are part of our own projections and psyches. She’s right about the various parts of ourselves and moving forward towards wholeness. The attached, abandoned part is the most traumatised & complex to reintegrate. Wholeness & loving yourself to the absolute max helps.
Nothing is hidden we only lose sight of it when we start thinking.

I was just thinking I don't know how to get what I want and this video started playing on my phone. This is the exact issue I have been having and struggling with for years and it has been repeating in my life in between the two super moons at the begining of this year. I have struggled with finding success and purpose or I have been sabatoging my achievements due to my motivation for independence and self reliability. Iam grateful I was guided to this video 11:11 🌹
