Now everything makes perfect sense, this is why Saul confessed to everything, he had always planned to get arrested so Huell could get him out, this is the true last moment of Saul Goodman that us the viewers would get to see. This makes the PERFECT ending, bravo Vince.

My favorite part was the scene when Huel digs up alpine shepherd boy and trades it with Rick Harrison of pawn stars for that helicopter. Jimmy truly had it all mapped out.

i´d like to think that the helicopter is blasting the better call saul theme while rescuing saul.
Wow! Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have done it again. To not only make a series like Breaking Bad, which many consider to be one of the greatest television shows ever made, then to top it with this masterpiece of a show. The style, the storytelling, the characters were all in synch and this ending is what truly makes this show the greatest of all time. Showing us that some people can never really change no matter how hard they try. Even after confessing and getting 86 years in prison Saul still has a back up plan to get away from his problems. By using Huell, whose friendship with Saul has blossomed into the most important and interesting relationship of the BB/BCS Universe, shows us that the gang is back together and we may see them again pulling jobs.

Brilliant! Saul confessed to everything and made himself look like the big guy, got a massive sentence and then escaped using a helicopter, which means he flies away like a bird and birds are the symbol of freedom. It’s incredible. Vince Gilligan has truly outdone himself and Huell should get an emmy just for this segment.
