Well my black cat was very quiet except he growled like a dog and thought he was a dog. The white cats bonded with just one person in the house and didn’t have much to do with any one else. My tuxedo loved nothing better than a calm surrounding and would hid if strangers came to the house or there were loud noises going on, he didn’t want to play or explore he wanted cuddles and to be beside or on you 24/7. All my tabbies were curious and loving.
My tuxedo is everyone's best friend, and is THE friendliest cat I have ever seen. Anytime, anywhere. Instant in your lap, purring loudly. For everyone, even the dishwasher repairman, who turned a 30 minute job into an hour, as he was having so much fun.

He was loving toward his vet end enjoyed going to see her. Sadly cancer was his demise. I called the vet to let her know and she cried. It's been over 20 years and I still miss him. My current tuxedo, Lightfoot is learning to be loving. He was a shelter rescue. Five years old and very playful. He worries like Bear if I don't come home. I was in the hospital for four days. My white cat Casper has one blue eye and one gold. Definitely likes to explore the backyard. My calico cat Corn Pop is a little older than Casper but they play together, she'll definitely put Casper in his place when she wants
I have a Tortie (4 yrs old) and a Calico (2 yrs old). The personality descriptions for Calico is spot on perfect. She is independantl, curious, & near fearless. She has a very inquisitive mind. She is always making sure that all is well & normal in "her house." She is affectionate & cuddly, but on her terms. My Tortie is pretty much as described here as well, but she is a bit on the timid side. She too is very affectionate especially with my daughter. Both have strong personlaities & will lay down the law on what they like or dislike, but they are also comical & entertaining with their energectic playful antics.

My brother had a female Ginger cat named Fugue. He was a Bach fan so he gave her a Bach musical term that might describe her demeanor. Maybe, but she was a sweet, well-mannered, and curious kitten and liked to play with us and often walked on the keyboard of our piano-more likely the reason for her name. She and my Aussie/BC Gem (the Empath) were friends from the start as kitten and puppy. I think she lived to be about 20 years. He recently went back to dogs though. My sister had various cats and her black Baudelaire was my favourite. She taught Fugue some mischievous ways to get into trouble. When Gem died at 13, I brought a new puppy, a BC I named Tess Siobhan, she was an adult, but soon befriend Tess before she and my brother moved. After that I had just BCs who knew their purpose in life was to here sheep and/or cattle, decided to hers just about anything else. I'd like to have a Ginger cat if I couldn't have a dog I like Cardigan or Pembroke Corgi, but I have no place in my basement apt. for a litter box and need to learn how to take care of a cat first, but at least I have those who've had cats.

She was 13 years old and would drape herself across my leg for hours at a time.
My tortie girl was not very playful when she was alive, but that was probably due to her age. I took her in when she was 7 years old. Very shy at first, but once she got comfortable with me and her new home, she walked around like she owned the place! She was a really calm lady, and loved napping next to me on the couch. She was also very comforting when my depression got really bad. She would sit next to me, purr and slow blind when I was crying, almost like she wanted to say "It's gonna be ok, I'm here for you". I miss her so much.
I adopted a solid black cat a couple weeks ago and she is the sweetest thing!Undeniably active given that she's only 3 months old, but has the loudest purrs I've ever heard in a cat. My other cat (grey & white) is also super sweet. She doesn't purr nearly as loud as my void, but loves to lick. 😅
Our neighbors found our cat where someone had thrown him out on the side of the road. He's solid black, the vet had to remove an eye. He was 5 weeks old and gets around just fine. He loves people, asks for attention and to be picked up the first time. He's tucked up against my leg right now. First cat I've had in 19 years. The dog and rabbit don't want to play so, we're thinking about getting another one.
40+ years ago we had a family cat Linda. I was sitting in the recliner watching TV with her on my lap and I heard my mom scream. I asked what's wrong and she said she saw a mouse. I got up with the cat in my arms and walked to the kitchen where my mom was. I asked where and mom pointed at the same time the cat saw it in the open drawer. I felt Linda tense up so I just shoved the cat's face into the drawer. I felt a lunge, pulled the cat out and saw just a tail hanging out of her mouth. I put the cat out to play with it, turn back to my mom and said "Problem solved". I told my dad about it later and he got a big laugh from it.
I have a grey tuxedo kitty that has the piebald personality. My orange tabby has the tabby personality. They're very different from each other but still get along well. I love them both, like crazy.

I stayed the only one who could touch her . The description in the video is quite accurate , I loved her character a lot . Last week she died at the age of 17 years and I miss her dearly .

Orange Cats, they seem a bit more frisky. Was riding home and this adult orange cat started to prance his way towards me of raising his back and turning sideways, but more of a PLAYFUL motion. I laughed a bit seeing this as a very cool moment for I never saw a cat do this besides running into other orange cats in past, seems very dog smart from what I saw. How odd is it that “calico” cats actually are referred to by all 3 versions of color… Calico has mostly white Tortoise calico has white,orange,black, and the Witches Brew calico, has all the tortie color BUT it’s like a freckle type pattern. OH YEAH Siamese cats have the same attitude as torties -pick one person to own and can be cheeky as hell cuddly as well and have that nasty streak
ALL CATS are independent. And self sufficient. Most cats only want hugs or cuddles when they want or are in the mood. That’s why personally I prefer dogs.
