Thanks Simple Alpacha for your reviews on older phones, Got the s21 plus 128gb, 888 version late last year been a blast ever since, was a sweet spot for the price👌🏾, good display, really snappy with multi-tasking, camera's great, image processing seems to have been improved with the android 14 update. Its an all in all great device for daily use, fair battery lasting me on average of 6 hours, I find that fair cuz i am a heavy user, and easy lasts through a busy day when im not always on my phone at around 30%. Feels really slick, and comfy in the hand.
I do know that the S21 phones was the first generation of Samsung flagships where they extended the software longevity again to four years of software updates. So as far as software support, I'm pretty sure that this phone will get one more software update to Android 15 with One UI 7, then that will be its last version of software. Then even if you are one or two versions of Android behind, you are most likely still going to be perfectly fine using the phone just without some of the latest features, but most Apps do support Android for at least a few years.
man i can't let go of my s21+ because it's still great in 2024 and battery life still feels 100% brand new since i bought it from samsung official website for only 375 U$D 16 months ago. Maybe i'll upgrade next year because it still have 1 more major android update.
Hi bro,I have a S21+ gifted from my brother but idk what happened but suddenly its screen stopped showing anything and got black. Samsung Authorised Service Center asking for 200$ and giving me screen and back glass replacement. What should i do ?? 3 month warranty also included
I feel you. I have an s21+ and it still works like brand new in April 2024. However Verizon is giving me a free upgrade so I'm getting the S24+ this week, but honestly it's no rush. However, I'm glad I waited until the S24, from my research it seems the s22 and s23 didn't have any major changes.
I had a Samsung Galaxy S21+ as soon as it was released, to date I haven't had any problems with it, and I think it's the most advanced smartphone that a human being can have, the smartphones that came out after it not evolve in terms of people's needs towards a smartphone which is the best.

If you're not on the latest version of android, should all new apps and app updates still support the older firmware for a couple years in case we do decide to buy the s21?
Most apps can run on older firmware. Some apps like those for banking and e-payment need new‐ish firmware version (for example, requiring Android 12 when 14 is the latest version)
Ive had bad experiences with this phone. It was very slow when scrolling and very choppy. Battery was good but didnt felt fluent. I returned this phone 3 days after i bought it so I switched to s22 ultra. Best decision I've made
my mom had one in purple. unfortunately she had to switch to the infinix note 40 because the screen on her unit has formed three lines with different colors. not to mention the battery is absolutely terrible. maybe the fact that the maximum capacity has gone down over the years or due to the soc (exynos). either way, she is perfectly happy now that her new phone can last her a few days on a single charge compared to her old s21+’s abysmal 6 hour battery, and that there are no green, pink and white lines on her screen. she also doesn’t mind losing out on 5g, which might contribute to the already shitty battery life.
@@TheRichUnc there’s only one green line, but now there’s two pink lines, in addition to a white line on the edge of the screen. so in total there are 4 lines on the screen now.
Honest feedback, this video content way too much subjective opinion, and almost no objective data.. For example: When you said the triple video camera is good, please show the actual photo and video result; When you said this phone will not receive much more update, please inform Samsung's plan update for this phone; When you said the performance is good, please show an actual data, benchmark, or at least do some games or heavy application.., etc. etc.
@@PILATESDILEMMA The battery is very bad by today's standards. I charge the phone twice a day, but I adapted to the situation and forgot about the battery due to the speed of charging. I have a note for you, if you want to play on the phone, I do not recommend it to you at all. For the first two years, it was excellent in performance, but the performance deteriorated over time. Earlier, I used to I got 60 fixed frames on PUBG, but now there are a lot of frame drops

Definitely, without a doubt. Me and my mom had Metro by T-Mobile, with me having the unlocked S21+ and my mom having the A32 5G directly from that store. My mom's A32 had the best 5G and had the best service. My mom never really had any problems with her service. However, for me, when she had 5G, I had LTE. Sometimes I literally have Edge, or even no service! It's crazy how a cheap "A" phone can literally have better service than a flagship. The S21+ should have better service, not the trusty ol' A32. That's when I realized that the issue was that it was unlocked, not directly from the Metro store or locked. Because for some reason, the service was really bad for mine. So if you can go to your online store, there are options that are locked to a certain carrier rather than seeing it as "unlocked".
I have had an unlocked phone and it has really bad service. I barely get any 5g, and my mom's locked A32 has 3 times better service than me. I can easily have no service at all! Also, the 5g speed is fine, but when it's on LTE, it literally doesn't.....work.

Better camera is a need.
Better battery life also.
Better performances for gaming also.

I've had mine since June last year. It's been too good 👍
I also want to buy s21+. Can you tell me from where did you get it?
I did to. I had insurance on a older phone and paid a 25 dollar deductible for it. Amazing deal.,
