No depends how much diesel you need put in if your running bigger wheels etc a lot more is needed lower range and you get smoke from that but you can go pretty much smoke free map

any one no how get a disco td5 auto to hold gears got a popcorn limiter and it's set to 4500 but mine only revs to 4100
