Thank you so.much, really pleased you like it, if there's anything you'd like us to cover, just leave us a message, but please note we don't cover DCC as the layout is pure DC - thanks again

@@hortoncommonmodelrailway certainly did. I've done mine using your guidance. Helped a tonne. The solenoids I got from rails of Sheffield were a lot easier to wire up but I had a few pl-10s to look at.
Re. The mimic boards, I want to be able to create a hand held one. I'd love to know how you would tackle that or see a more detailed walkthrough of building a mimic board like yours

Hmmmm, seems like you've given us an idea for a video - very easy to make, friend of ours wanted one, but he's having his made by someone whose charging an absolute fortune! Only to control 5 - 6 points and on/off switches for a depot, ours includes switches for our semaphore signals, so all complete.
Ours cost approx £50 in materials to make, and does us proud.

In India pin point motor cost is very high, so please take 12v relay open coil place metal piece it will work, otherwise go for solenoid valve (used in washing machine) convert in to pin point motor,
Solenoid valve cost 350rs, relay cost around 20rs ....
    I don't know other countries

Don’t you think that the investment of a pound or two in some coloured wires so that you never have to remember which orange is black would help?
If you run the wires in loosely twisted pairs, with a label (a small piece of an address label, folded over the pair of wires and stuck to itself) on each pair with the point number on it will help you with any later troubleshooting.

And that's exactly what I did over a year ago prior to attending our first exhibition, , alongwith a laminated pFe of what wire went to what terminal and to where it was attached and its function. The underneath of the board has the point reference on a label next to the respective point motor.
      Thanks for your comment.

Hi there did you know that you can get different coloured plastic covers for those tipe of switches I've seen them at model shows and in a few model railway shops. There's a part's catalogue that the shop uses for all those bits and pieces ask if you can have a look at it you may find some other useful bits
