This is the last recipe type video for the year. I really hope these videos made a difference for you and yours ❤ My video on December 25th will be answering some of the most popular questions I have received over the last few months. Thanks for sharing your time with me. 🙌🏾🤗
Also - Sometimes you may notice slight changes between the video and the written recipe on my site. Sometimes I make slight variations or changes. Just wanted to let you know
@@TheLoveFamily420 So true. And often, they sound more fun than a big ass entree. I think I just figured out why Superbowl Sunday is one of my favorite times to eat. I could give a rip about football, but all the little food makes me swoon.
I made this wrong and it was still incredible! I put all the chili oil ingredients into the food processor instead of making an actual oil. I sliced up half an avocado to go with it and when I tell you, it was so delicious and so filling?! Thanks truly, this is going to be one of my go-to recipes from now on.
The first rule of fight club... I mean Vegan / Plant-Based cooking... Season at every step. Until I realized the importance of this rule, my cooking was so bland / Mid-West lmao! I love how you ALWAYS demonstrate and role model this. And that cauliflower... Love the broccoli recommendation and dare I say it could also be replace with a Brussels Sprout?! For sure trying your chili oil! PEAAAAACCCCCCCCE!
My go-to Indian take-way choice is now 3-4 'side dishes', a rice and a bread. The sides come in the same size container as the mains so you get just as much volume, but at half the price. I can make this last 3-4 days. Spinach and potatoes, an eggpland bhaji, some sort of daal and a cauliflower dish and I'm set. Mushroom or cumin rice and a naan bread. Woo-hooooo!
😂 thank you! But the meals actually four servings. For my family maybe an extra half of a head of cauliflower since they can't seem to get enough of it when we use one.
This recipe was a tough sell for me. I don’t like cauliflower for some reason. I think there’s maybe 4 vegetables on earth that I dislike and cauliflower is one of those few. But I trusted you and made this. It was awesome! But I did have that tiny voice in the back of my mind that said “okay, but would it be better with a different vegetable?” So I made it again with broccoli, and again with halved Brussels sprouts, and finally with cabbage, which sounds weird but those crispy, flavor packed edges were so good. Thank you very much for all you do. I’m recovering from a serious illness and need to gain both weight and add some muscle, so I’m very happy I found your channel. Every one of your recipes has been a winner.
Grandiosa receta!! amo los vegetales y los granos, añadí remolacha y zanahoria con aceite de oliva, sal y romero al horno como el coliflor y el brócoli, y usé aceite de coco para calentarlo y verter en las especias! Uummm! Simplemente grandioso! Gracias por compartir ❤
Just made this for the first time. I doubled the recipe but with one head of broccoli and one head of cauliflower and also halved the total oil. I can barely even believe how good this is. Top 10 recipes I’ve made. THANKS!
I believe in good- in people, food, art, and whatever spiritual practice one finds meaningful. Andrew, you help me with this practice every time I watch you videos. The new additions to my culinary adventure will be herb and spice oils. I used to make my own rosemary and garlic oil, but haven’t in years. My goals for today are to get some garlic and fresh rosemary, paint said herbs, prepare them and make the oil to top roasted veg(potatoes are divine) and for me , the occasional chicken thigh or shrimp. Ohhh I am so excited to pick up the paint brush and to eat well. PAX my culinary friends have a creatively filled day.
Just made this for the first time for my partner and I. It was really simple, easy, cheap, and filling! My partner who loves meat found this very good and is stoked to have this in my arsenal of food recipes. Thank you!!
You are remarkably creative and I always look forward to your videos! Please consider adding saffron and lemon juice to things. I add them to your recipes and it improves upon them a lot!
So so behind again because of the Christmas/New Year break from SM but I am back in the comments! I am sure this recipe is absolutely delicious and would take even less time for anyone not having to make it all nice and neat for the camera haha! And the herb chili oil - amazing. The sizzle was so satisfying :D
Great tips for subs, although I love all the ingredients in the original. Love watching you cook and then listening to your comments afterward. It's like a cooking meditation! Looking forward to more plant-based cooking!
What a wonder dish, it ticks all the boxes.and I'm adding it to my lineup of goodies. As for allergies to sesame (I'd be so sad) there is also sunflower butter🌻
The video where you paused it 😂😂 I taking a sip of water and had to look at my phone thinking “what just happened? Did my blanket just pause this video??” So ya it gave me a laugh 👍🏻
Thanks for NOT scraping the blade across the board after cutting. Lotta people do it for the ASMR effect (or out of ignorance at home) even tho it destroys the edge on a good sharp knife
Oh! I almost bought cauliflower today! I have the rest of these ingredients. Maybe I’ll go to the store again tomorrow… lol. Love the hot oil technique, can’t wait to try, I just bought my first bottle of sesame oil. :)
Nice combination, and I would serve this with pita (fresher the better). Or over rice (or quinoa or bulgur, etc.) in a pinch. Maybe add some South Indian lemon pickle for heat.
So just 2 things, for anyone that doesn't know what Aquafaba is, it's just the juice inside the chickpea can. You can actually use it to make a vegan meringue if you whip it just like egg whites. Lastly, just be careful with tahini because like peanut butter it's VERY high in calories. So if you're on a diet, use a small amount of the tahini or take it out. Nothing but love ✌️
Hey there! 🌱🌮 Just caught your 20 Minute High-Protein ASMR meal - seriously, I'm all about quick and easy plant-based deliciousness! 🙌💚 The un-bowl-ievable concept has me hooked - gotta love those budget-friendly, time-saving gems! Keep 'em coming! 😋👏 #VeganOnABudgetRocks
This is a delicious recipe I'll definitely be making as an appetiser. But the macros on the site per bowl say 805 calories to 15 grams of protein. Definitely note that this Protien to calorie ratio may not be suited to your needs if for any reason you're tracking.
it would be nice if you listed the name of the dish in the title of the video. it makes it easier to look up and reference. maybe something like cauliflower hummus bowl with herb chili oil - high protein in 20 mins or #highprotein #20mins? food looks delicious.
The artistry and creativity of your recipes and of the videos themselves… collectively everything you offer here is delectable, thoughtful and just as aesthetically pleasing as your face… because you’re hot and that’s makes each video that much more enjoyable to watch. Thank you, my friend!
Of course! I use it to sterilize vegetables and fruits. Outside of just water this helps kill any bacteria. So it's not a must just a personal preference.
Room temperature it said to last about three weeks. Refrigerated up to a year or so. I've never really had to keep it that long myself, so I can't really say whether or not each of these are completely true. But it has last two weeks for me, and I can see myself keeping it longer if I made a big batch.
Thanks for asking, Mike! I have a lot of questions similar to this that I'll be answering in my next video. As a short answer, I am still weighing it as an option. I'll follow up more in that video. 🙏🏾
I stay in south africa Ide love to add a vegetarian dish into my weekly meals but dam . These ingredients.. I've never seen any of them in my local shops😅
This is not a knock against vegan diets. This is my complaint about the industry as a whole. First of on a Macro view how is this High Protein? The best I could get just adjusting proportions of the original ingredients was 30g from 730 cal, though the recipe site quotes it at disturbing 805 cal and 15g of protein. 15 for that many calories is ridiculously low. The changes I made are decent, but you could get the same amount of protein for a third less calories for any Vegan protein shake. Now on a Micro scale. Your not using anything rich in Leucine or Methionine. So guess what only 20-25% of the protein you ingested can be used for synthesis. The avg Human needs 50g protien for repairing and maintaining the body (not energy). So you just ate a whopping amount of calories that gives you at best 6-7g of usable protein towards your 50g needed for maintenance. So if all your meals are like this your going to have to eat over 4000 cal just to get the protein needed to repair organs, build muscle, and produce antibodies. Go look at dishes using tofu or high quality beans/lentils. Quit eating a a lot of hummus, the macros and micros are about as useful as a McDonald’s French frie.
Friend how is this an easy recipe? theres over 8 bowls of ingredients, I have to use a stove, a food processor, and an oven. I don't even know how long to bake it for on what temperature.

i found most appetizers in restaurants to be enough for a meal, i will eat the leftovers for 2 days, i've even thrown them out.
@@TheLoveFamily420 So true. And often, they sound more fun than a big ass entree. I think I just figured out why Superbowl Sunday is one of my favorite times to eat. I could give a rip about football, but all the little food makes me swoon.
