The crazy part about the Terry loop is that if you play 2D fighting games a lot, you were most likely already doing that in Smash with him just because that how you would play with characters in fighting when pressuring for confirms by checking for high/low openings. Also from this video alone, Bowser, Terry, Greninja, Little Mac, Ness, Diddy Kong, and Yoshi were buffed with tech that most people may not have known before they saw this video. 🔸️ Greninja: Dodges grabs through his turn around animation after a forward air by holding forward 🔸️ Bowser, Diddy, Yoshi: Able to use their momentum from a turning crouch in order to slide backwards (Most effective to least effective in the order named above, with Bowser's version being similar to a Meele Luigi wave dash) 🔸️ Little Mac: New combos from breaking Steve blocks 🔸️ Ness no impact land after double jumping onto ledge at the correct height 🔸️Terry's jab (1) can vaccum an opponent in and be used to link into other normals, with the proper timing, similar to doing one-frame links in fighting games. Shouldn't be hard to do if you already to this in fighting games already. There's the new tech. Use it wisely.
the bowser, yoshi, diddy thing seems EXTREMELY niche, not something that will see much use. using steve block for combos is universal and niche, mac cant win that matchup. ness thing is cool but too tight to be practical without a semi-consistent set up. the greninja and terry things legitimately seem useful, though.
For bowser, it seems quite good but I can't really tell how plus you actually are. What is the requirement for the sliding tech? Do you have to be able to crawl? If so, other characters like sora might benefit heavily from it.
Quick comment on that Rosa Ganon clip. Luma wasn't falling like it normally should have. Also it treats Rosa as idle because she wasn't actually moving.
Online disconnects you if you don't attack often enough. I used to play doubles with my brother and whenever we were fighting 2 vs 1 we often turned it into a duel, with one of us standing by. We quickly found out that not attacking for a long time got us disconnected, and it's been a while so i may be wrong but i'm pretty sure not attacking often enough was also disconnecting us, so i believe it's the number of attacks per minutes that's important.
to add further, this is just anecdotal but I think they need to be connected attacks rather than just spamming randomly by yourself. My cousin and I have the same experience of getting DC'd for letting a 1v1 happen. It's amazing how utter garbage the online system is designed for such an otherwise masterful game.
@@AlecAndersonZx ...Teaming was a common occurrence that became less constant due to this change. It's not garbage that in a free for all situation that the game can detect targeting a single player. It's the least of Smash's problems online... Even then...it won't happen that often if the other player is actively fighting back.

I probably know what it is , the rotation bone in the landing animation of fair is probably set at -270° while the walking fordward animation is probably set at 90° meaning that to joint them together it needs to spin in the blending animation of the walking cicles

Knowing how this happens would be good to know because it could lead to us figuring out some other character and aerial combinations that this could work on.

When the rosalina got disconnected, a similar thing happened with me twice when doing doubles online with my brother The first time my brother was only doing pills with doc, and we got disconnected as he was only using one move (I can't remember for sure but I think he was also moving/walking/jumping around) The second time we only targeted one of the opponents, we were both cuphead vs sans and flacon, we t bagged with tye sans and everytime the Falcon came closer, we would hit him away, We got disconnected for and I quote 'picking on particular fighters' It was absolutely hilarious 😅 Ah the good old days😊
Little stuff like this is both the beauty and curse of no more patches. Like yeah, it'll never be fixed so players have a new trick to use. At the same time, yeah, it'll never be fixed if it's unintentional, so now we have to deal with character specific tricks and glitches to add on top of one of the most match up dependent games of all time.
If that Ganondorf was that big brain we all think he was then he surely timed it correctly to let go of up b for just a second to not get hit by luma jab finnish
The olimar clip has to be a zombie pikmin situation, where if the pikmin being used for a smash attack dies (which causes them to become airborne), the pikmin will still attack if the smash attack is released before the pikmin disappears

I enjoy doing online doubles jan infinites on platforms, and in order to not get disconnected all you have to do is press any other button every once and a while. Do not press B or your right stick, or else the jab will finish, but every other button is fine From the Ganon's POV, the game instantly turns Rosa into a cpu without a pause, but you don't lose any GSP. Unless the ganon noticed the GSP number, it probably just looked like Rosa randomly finished the jab. Since the Ganon wasn't on top of Luma during the disconnect, its possible he goes on to win the game, but still wouldn't gain any GSP
"Idle" for Smash Online doesn't just mean not moving... If you keep doing the same thing over and over for a literal minute the game will disconnect you because you aren't actually playing the game. It's a number of things that count as being idle.

Thats a setup, i believe its done when recalling luma, so she doesnt fall and stays in place mid-air

he has no double jump so he'd just die. i think he was legitimately completely out of options.
Up air is pretty fast i think its doable just really scary n risky and it might not come out fast enough at some angles
For the ganon, they can just drift under the stage and up-b in the other direction. It's Ganon's safest way to recover.
