I don't think that black sleeve should be locked into that rubber block. It should float free along the rope so you can use it as a chafe guard if the rope rubs something between the winch and the item being winched.
If it is a Black Ops winch, the rope would only be tied to the drum. Are you trying to get it to free spool out? If there is too much tension on the rope, it won't allow it to free spool back out. For instance, if you reeled it in too far and now the stopper cannot move because it has so much tension. Give us a call or shoot us an email so we can help you sort out what's going on.
Thanks helpful and simple
Why did u not put a load on the rope? Won’t it sink into the drum under load when pulling
Doesn’t matter if it’ll never be used. All got looks.
Thank you
I have 4500 winch can I use 6000 winch rope

Thanks for the help!
So, why didn't you just cut the line at 1:10 instead of taking the time to unwrap the tape and the yank it back through the drum?
My old rope is jammed in there. I can't get it to feed back to save my life. I think it's glued in. Anyone know any tricks?

@@SuperATVMedia I'm only trying to replace the rope. I have it cut down to only a few inches. It won't move one way or the other inside the drum.
No replacement rope for the 2500?
Rope is rope…. There is not a “2500” specific winch rope.
👍📽
You got it spooling the wrong direction
No
@@srt6diesel loads 'in' from the bottom of the drum, not over the top
And by the way it's a winch not a wench you really should learn the pronunciation of this if you're going to make a video.
Both are pronounced the same way here in Indiana 👋
