- Our second day of riding at Singltrek pod Smrkem and it was a good one!

Thanks to SR Suntour for sponsoring the trip, I needed it with how expensive the bike shipping was! Great suspension + great trails = great adventures.
Quite a long ride and a lot of hours means I got a lot of great footage! I did my best to keep up with Sebastian (sebastianbyskovjensen on Instagram). That man is so smoooooth and so good -- and so were these trails! I loved it.
🇨🇿Czech MTB Holidays (bit.ly/2GZBThw) invited me out for a great week of riding in the Czech Republic. I had no idea what to expect and I was blown away by the trails. There's nothing like experiencing a foreign country on a guided bike trip.

Czech Republic is Central Europe, not Eastern...glad you enjoyed our trails ;)
Same Poland 😀, is in the middle 😀👍
western people don't know such thing as central europe, just deal with that :-D
I think we westeren people think about the Iron Curtain when we talk about east europe, my girlfriend is Polish and considers Poland central while im Danish and can't see it anything else than eastern.
I'm Portuguese. I married a Polish girl. Every time I want to upset my wife or change the conversation I just need to call her East European. She calls me Spanish and that is far more offensive so we fine :) Also did these same trails with her 4 years ago, good stuff!
@@ndexer thats because you are willingly blind to look at the cultures and compare them without the blindfold of 60 years of communism which was partly given to you by your own culture
8:57 OMG! Only one day in poland was enough :)
Exactly what I thought! :D
Hihi I am Polish and so proud of you 😉
KURVAA! :D
yavaho I ride on sidewalks here in Flagler Florida and parts of palm Coast and I ride technical biking skills on. These Sidewalks here
@@levihoward4470 I did not mean ride technical biking skills. Only new vocabulary :)

BKXC “Guess who’s videos came up when he searched for it”
ME “Uhh, Seth’s bike hacks?”
Tell ya what, it is amazing watching these dudes handle those trails like the beasts they are. It is very cool to see.
Its nice that evvent the trails in smaller countries get ridden and recorded by people who are not local!
Glad you enjoyed your stay here! :D
I really appreciate that you do not feel you have to show off (send everything), or that others have to shred in order to enjoy getting out on the trails. You have major skills, and can certainly shred, but if that were a prerequisite for hitting the trails - then many of us might not give it a try! MTB-ing has transformed my life in subtle and meaningful ways. You, Seth, Phil, Alex, Paul the Punter, Mo, Tommy - and others, through youtube and love of the sport, opened this world up to me by sharing your passion - Thanks!
Sebastian is killing it!!!!
Great video, great trail. It is nice to see an American enjoying Europe, appreciating its diversity and the freedom we have on the trails and in general.
Love how Sebastian looks so graceful when he rides :o
Super smooth!!
One of the most enjoyable trips you've showed us, got to be there, someday
Sebastian is unbelievable
I am COMPLETELY PUMPED & STOKED for You!! Keep Ripping the the trails Bro and thanks again bring us along and
remember to Live-Life-Loud🤙🏽👍🏽🤘🏽
I've seen many your videos, but this tight turns and emotion on this trails are one of the best. Good material :)
Glad you're enjoying our beautiful little country. :-)
Hard trails is what attracted me to mtb, i didnt want any park walking paths or anything like that. The first trail was a black diamond and i crashed like 3 or 4 times and it was fun
Nice to meet you, Brian! And thanks for the ride!
Nice riding! Like your style :-) How do you like trails in Czech Republic?
Super fun riding with you dude!!
@@miroslavlupecka7988 from what I have ridden/seen they are really nice!
SUPER fed stil! \m/
What about Rychlebské stezky? Our best, in my opinion :-)
I'm from Czech an specially this video was awesome!! My soul was smiling :)
Wellcome to Europe my man. Im from Slovenia. Near this.
Wow. Good to be in Czech for bike adventure! definitely on my bucket list . Thanks Braian-kowski!
Awesome story about Michael from Denmark.
Nice job Brian keeping up with the Downhill champ! That was a lot of serious flow. And the food looked good too!
My Fedora hat finally arrived from Denmark, Hornskov Kobenhavn Hand made hats. Awesome bike trail as ever and all that traveling makes it all worth watching the videos.
Love CZ trails, super flow, ultimate handmade brilliant!
Oh god, I didn't think that you know that Czech Republic exists :D Hi from Czech Republic btw :)
Killer series so far!
It's gonna get better!
Denmark. The flattest country in Europe. And he's good at downhill!
haha I was laughing same fact. Danish Downhill. 🤔 😁
Not correct my friend
I once met a couple from UK, They thougth the same when biking across Denmark. When I said they only missed 10km to the center of Copenhagen their world almost broke apart.. They didn’t imagine that Denmark could have so many hills ;) So yes, it’s more or less flat :D
Well I'm English but I live in Denmark, it's super flat! A mountain in Denmark is anything over 25 metres! But then I moved from Bristol and also lived in South Wales... That is hilly!
Its flat i agree but that litlle spot on the map The Netherlands 😉
Great product- worked perfectly, no issues.
“The best way to get fit, make friends and see the world.” Nicely said.
I truly believe it!
Wow, the coloring of that scene right after the dumplings is rad!
Perfect! Just in time for lunch. Flow for miles! Thanks Brian!
Whoa!!! I rember thad I said you about this tracks and now I back to your channel and see this. Super!!! 😀
Greetings from Poland!!! 😃
fun fact! CURVA also means TURN in spanish so when you said it my wife (who is spanish btw) and I were like ohhh hes learning spanish! lol so its a czech bad word good to know hehehe anyways glad to see new uploads! binge watching now!
Haha thanks!
Also thank you for putting the extra effort in to convert the distance. Lotta love man
Endless flow and great weather.
I thought the title said you were chasing a pastry rolling down the hill. 🥮
What wicked trails! The flow looks beautiful and by how quiet your bike is they've got to be buttery too!
I was loving all the flow on this trail. You were doing a great job keeping up with a DH champion IMO. You guys were flying.
I always like the idea of a swim after a long ride through the woods, outstanding trails!
Which hotel is it?
I remember each of these trails turns like it was yesterday :) Such fun riding!
Brian you smashed it , super fast
That's my kind of trails, flow is nice 👍
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Reminds me alot of my home country-Germany. You do some smooth riding there. It's a joy to watch as always. Thanks
I just realized I haven't been there this year I just live 2 hours away in Germany from the trail centre you been riding and in the summer we go there and to a Bikepark called Klinovec almost every weekend. Its just amazing how they developed this place
Brian Czech looks amazing. You truly are an awesome ambassador of MTB. What you said is sooo true about trying to get people into the sport. You need nice easy trails to reel them in. I’m trying to get my wife in and found an awesome place in CT to get her into and she’s loving it. Goal...get her confident enough to plan a trip to Whistler. KEEP IT UP AND ENJOY HOMIE!!!!!!
Roberto Maldonado hey I’m in CT. Have the same issue with my wife. Where do you guys go?
mike reynolds where in CT u live? I live is West Hartford, so I drive up north about 20-30 mins to East Granby. It’s Cowles State Park. It’s the only place I’ve found that it has a really nice, leveled singletrack. Some small logs, rocks but very very entry level. But, as I hope she progresses, there’s plenty of harder trails for her to progress towards too. I took my wife the first time to the Reservoir in West Hartford...yeah not too good lol
It is a wonderful ride with a fantastic course.
I am going to see it well.
great stuff like always Brian
!!!!thanxs
Way to keep up with those Danish guys Brian! I'm so jealous those trails look awesome. I'll riding this summer in the Pyrenees, back and forth between France and Spain. There's an amazing trail in northern Spain called Spanish Utah, being from Utah I'll have to check it out!
Weather 👌👌👌 Food and drink 👌👌👌 another nice trail 👍
Very nice video. Your skills are great, keeping up with the guys that were leading you. Their skills were exceptional. And all that flowing down hill trail...makes me drool as a mountain biker and motorcyclist.
Very smooth and well maintained trail. that has potential for mtb tourism
This was the most beautiful ride! You are living the dream, my friend! Love it!!
@bkxc looks awesome. Really would like to see you ride the Dutch "trails" being almost completely flat...
Sander Bosman yeah, sucks being a dutchie
You boys are flying!
Thanks for enjoying our country. You should bring Seth with you next time :)
I remember when you were just getting started, good for you.
So many good vibes in this video. Thanks Brian and can't wait for the Trutnov and Rychlebky parts! There are some funny people in those regions even for CZ standard. I'm lucky to know Jan in person and he is one great example :-D
Kofola tastes like a drink with Jagermeister and energy drink! I love it haha :D
I am from the Czech rebublic and definitely visit the Rychlebské stezky
Me and my friends are thinking about visiting there, do they speak English or should i learn Czech :s
I did!!
Kurwa!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Greetings from Polish
:D
Brian....sweet flowy single trac is your reward for suffering through the China adventure. Cheers
Haha!
Awesome, enjoying this adventure, and looking forward to the tech. 🤘 Such a great positive vibe you have in your videos, really enjoyable Brian 👍
I like the follow cam, helps to have a dude doing crazy stuff in front!
kofola is the best softdrink ever! i love that slavic kind of coca cola😍❤️
I'm 8 minutes in and Already it's blooming Awesome....Trail's Bad..!!!
can't wait you on Rychlebskie Sciezki
Your videos inspire me to keep riding and try to get better 🤟🏻👊🏻🤩
Man, I used to live for almost whole my life about 50 miles away from that place but never been there. I was a downhill rider and there are so many bikeparks with proper uplift like Czarna Góra in Poland, Kouty Bike Park or Spindl Bike Park in Czechia, so I've never been interested on that kind of riding. I miss those places alot especially that I'm living in flattest region of UK for almost 4 years now.
But next month I'll spend a week in Poland so I definitely need to go there, it looks amazing.
8:57 That "KURWA" almost caused me to choke on food.
me too mate ^^
Hahaha 😃 same
"Ja pierdole" you should also add to your everyday polish dictionary :)
I would recommend going to the danish bike park in Ikast they have some sick features.
Love the terrain...nice shreddin'.
I was there and in the North of Slovakia...food is great. Try the wine! The place is beautiful, everywhere.
Nice flowy trails !
Damn it! I was there at the beginning of May. Glad you got to "check" out the Czech republic and Poland (partially). Good accent on the Polish/Czech wordage.. particularly the "K" word.. Enjoyed that, had a good laugh. In Poland there are some bike park being built. Maybe you'll get a chance to try them out! It's all just starting here, unlike the US and Canada.
I’ve heard a lot about Poland! I’ll have to come back.
I have the same fork like yours sir
Love this fork
Great footage Brian. Beautiful trail system.
Amazing! Great work!! Looks an amazing place!
14:45 couldn’t of said it better! Loving the channel
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL BKXC
good to see you back on the Rallon!!!
It does look pretty there. Reminds me of the Berkshires in Mass.
A fellow dane!🇩🇰. Godt kørt Sebastian 💪🏻 (Nice riding Sebastian )

Pretty amazing stabilization on your camera-gimbal-Suntour suspension... 🎥🚲🌲😎👍
6 months late but he swedish dude was so dang smooth, wish i could have a coffee with that guy and get some pointers.
Another greater watch the trails looks epic great stuff 🤘
pretty good vid man. great commentary, crispy and smooth footage and also awesome biking skills.i have really enjoyed watching it, only that mention about eastern europe kind of shocked me, but thats how the world see us i guess.
Just a fun fact, that place uv been in ( u Vsech andelu) was in an episode of czech version of Hells Kitchen (Ano Šéfe) and it turned out to be a very good restaurant, one of the only things they did wrong was basicaly to charge too low for their servises so they turned up losing money but the owners were good people, Chef there was good and even the rooms were nice, so yea, good choice.
Haha, that's awesome!
15:20 Restaurant "Obří sud" :-) ... great meal !
And awesome Forks
Surprised you not using a chain dropper thought most mtb hard core do ✌️
Brian, it would be great if you would do a 'top X places to go on a biking holiday video' as someone who has travelled extensively I think it would be a really legit video unlike others on the net
Making me want to get back in mountain biking... Badly!!
Super cool trails over there!!
Single track goodness... Brian I'm looking forward on to the technical trails and see those good old "Brian's Line". Liked and Shared as always.
Another great ride !
Suspension sounded Dialed, your my video yet in my opinion, gorgeous single track .
5:50 nicely recovered. I'd have been OTB for sure.
Haha that was a tricky spot!
BKXC TV is part of a complete breakfast
Nice trail
Oh yeah
