Thanks. As a single, this makes sense. I had it loaded up in my cart (on sale, of course) but was unsure I wanted this until I watched your very helpful video. I like that most of it is dishwasher safe and that it can handle stuff right out of the freezer. It's a shame that this company didn't design an air fry basket with handles to enable an oven-mitt-gloved grasp and toss, thus forcing users to manually toss each frying item.
The chips looked a bit dry and burned on the edges. I would suggest first try to cut them square so there is very little size variation - to eliminate the thin pointy corners. Get a spray mist bottle. Before you put the chips in spread them out and give them a light spray lightly covering all - don’t drizzle oil over chips in the device it makes unnecessary mess. Then experiment cooking at a lower temperature for longer. Hope that helps.
After I used it about ten times it shut down and will not turn back on. I plug it in and nothing 200.00 dollars down the drain. I was hoping there was a reset button somewhere in case it got too hot and shut down on it's own for safety reasons. Very very disappointed with Instant pot indoor smokeless grill

Thanks for the tips! Also, the potatoes that I’ve used are not fresh that’s one of the reasons the fries didn’t turn out great.

You can contact the customer service, they will either send you a new appliance or refund the money.
