Thank You for the concise info! :)
Belt squeal is the very important things..thnks for information
Hi, At the front of the Legend Force Rear Tiller there is a long spring that is wrapped around a metal cable. The spring in my tiller came undone. I'm trying to figure where connects to on both ends? Could you send me a picture of the spring and where it connects at both ends please?
I have one one of these and cannot get it to dig any deeper than 2”…Any know what could be wrong?
belt squeal = lose belt, needs tighten for sure, another way to tell if the belt is too lose is the teller tines will stall out from time to time.
I’ve got the same squeal from my tiller on the first run after assembling it. Any advice on how to tighten the belt?
@djfrankinthe831 Depending on the model, there is usually a long nut with 1 or 2 long skinny threaded bolts going into either side of the nut that you turn to tighten or loosen kinda like adjusting the brakes on a bicycle, you may need to remove a cover from the engine to get to it.
Them belts must burn out a lot
I just bought one from home depot and that belt squeal can't be normal. Mine does it to and smokes, smells like burning rubber. This can't be normal. The belts just won't last long.
Good call, I wonder if the belt is too tight or just poor quality.
I have never seen a rear tine tiller that turns forward the same way the wheels do.
How do you slow this tiller down, it has a LOT of speed, mine has WAY too much speed.
I also have a Troybilt broncco which is a dream to use /have
It doesn't have traditional gears like some other tillers do, so your best bet is to use the metal drag bar located on the back and pull the pin and drop it lower. This will slow down the tiller and allow it to dig deeper into the soil.
Just watched your video and wondering if when you run or roll the tiller are both tires connected and it feels like when you turn specially on the hard surface like concrete that both axles or tires are both turning like locked posi. Is that how your tiller is? Thanks in advance.
Wheels are locked with a pin and the motor drives them when you hit the forward or reverse levers. If you take the pins out and slide the wheels in, then they are free-rolling and the motor doesn't drive them.
Thank you. Mine doesn't have the sliding wheels so that are in the locked position. So when you push in neutral you feel the resistance of the transmission. That must be why they made the sliding axle. Again thanks for your reply.@@DIYMaistor
How to buy it ,

Here’s what I’d like to know. What direction are the times supposed to rotate? On one video from another source, the blades rotate forward, in this one they rotate backwards. Same model, same everything.
Backwards on this one but it was assembled at Home Depot so who knows if they did it right.
There is a model that turns tunes forward and one that turns them in reverse but they do t do both like some others can.
Yours didn't have gear oil already in it?
It did but I added some too
I bought one from Home Depot and I am returning it for the reason that it leaks gas from around the top of the gas bowl. And it would only start once. I am not going to work orboerform repairs on a newly bought high dollar item.
Sorry to hear that Billy. I would definitely return it. Mine performed very well so far.
Not only do the belts fail quickly, but ordering this part from Home Depot is very difficult due to their totally incompetent way of doing things.
Wow that sounds absolutely terrible. Is that how it's supposed to be?
Where us the gas? 🤦🏿♂️ #repeat
How much the price sir it's available in the Philippines
$600 USD, but I'm not sure if they sell these in Philippines since Legend Force is owned by Home Depot.
