The Problem with the Sequel Trilogy: A World-Building Disaster

In the past I have talked abut the problems with The Last Jedi and how they impacted The Rise of Skywalker. However, the ultimate problem with the Sequel Trilogy starts from the very beginning. In this video I talk about how the The Force Awakens fails at Worldbuilding and why The Sequel Trilogy's unoriginal rehashing of Original Trilogy plot points causes the trilogy to fall somewhere between mediocre and downright awful. Despite the heavy criticism in this video, it ends on a positive note. I will probably make a couple more videos criticizing the Sequel Trilogy but eventually plan to turn them into something more constructive in the future.
