From the moment you first showed the prototype, all I could think was “torn taco” junk journal; crafters are gonna eat that up! We have been blessed with one of our adult kids sheltering in place with us (for the past month), but she keeps telling me ALL the things I’m doing wrong. I feel the need to go tear paper-nice and slow-once I am able to reclaim my chair from her. Thanks, Pam! This is just what I needed. I am off to go aggravate-I mean craft! I may even hum loudly. Doo-doo-doo-do-doooooo!

Hi Pam, I made this journal for my daughter and two grown-up granddaughters and they loved them so much. And my neighbor came in and saw one done and begged me to make one for his friend. They all turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for the tut.

The Paper Outpost I do! I love paper craft:ing! Mainly junk journals and scrapbooking, but those pages when stitches, or material with the stitching... just looks so pretty!!! I’ll continue to just admire it!!!
We had a gray cheeked parakeet for about Ten years named Lord Byron. We had to rehome him, and about two years later he/she laid an egg in his new home. Beautiful journal.
Pretty! Those would be fun as a signature in a bigger journal too. I clean my mats with Murphy’s Oil soap and a magic eraser....it has brought up ink, paint, glue, marker....there isn’t much it hasn’t removed - except the grid.
Looking at this now, it popped up on my phone and my first thought was the pages look burned. Like you burned the shape. How cool is the paper tearing and inking and life saving. 🤪 I love this look. You are a genius!!! 👍🏻
I listen to 60's and on Sunday's I listen to Mexican Music and dance a little because I have a brace on my right foot.I love listening to you your a hoot and your Bird sound's cooll can you show us your bird some time.

Love this staggered look on the outside of the journal. Tho only thing I'd do different is to put a patterned peice as the very top peice that would blend with the patterned last page. Thanks for this awesome idea !!! Hahaha I just got another pair of readers to keep in my purse. I have another pair around here somewhere. They should show up here soon lol

This is great fun--my friend loves tearing paper--and is wanting to get more creativity in her life--this is perfect, I've passed it right along to her. In a previous vid's commentary you suggested watching Jibid Neary's Old Curiosity Shop video --OMG--thank you for the suggestion! Mind. blown.--to be sure. Since she does primarily flip-though's--do you know how she did her signatures in that one? They seem to lay so flat--they look sewn, but she uses so many prints/stamps/embellishments, I'm not sure if it's real or if it's visual illusion she's created. Thank you for all your vids and ideas--so many cools things to do and try. I'm going to do your spritzer coffee stenciling next--(I JUST finished a huge batch of soaked/baked --first time I used the convection option on my new oven--worked perfectly!) I've got 9 kids, 24 gkids. When I finally get me time.... I'm QUIET!!!!! I USED TO be a hospice harpist. I replay the songs in my head and the harmony songs to my soul.... Crafting and inner imagery goes with my soul songs. ZEN RETREAT
beautiful. do you use a special sewer machine because my daughter don't want me to sew with her regular machine. I am so sad because I wish I can sew papers often
I use a regular run of the mill Brother Sewing machine ...its a Project Runway sewing machine I found at Walmart. I sew paper and fabric on it. I am in no way a professional seamstress but I have had no issues. I might suggest if you can get out still to check out Goodwill ...they sell old sewing machines for about $20...good old workhorse machines. You don;t need anything fancy to sew paper :)

I had a female cockatiel who died and the vet said it was because she had depleted the calcium in her body by laying eggs. Since then I have removed the eggs and replaced them with smooth little white pebbles and the birds are fine. My oldest cockatiel is 26 years old!

beautiful. do you use a special sewer machine because my daughter don't want me to sew with her regular machine. I am so sad because I wish I can sew papers often
I use a regular run of the mill Brother Sewing machine ...its a Project Runway sewing machine I found at Walmart. I sew paper and fabric on it. I am in no way a professional seamstress but I have had no issues. I might suggest if you can get out still to check out Goodwill ...they sell old sewing machines for about $20...good old workhorse machines. You don;t need anything fancy to sew paper :)
It's usually good to use different needles if you sew on paper and fabric but theres no reason not to use the same machine for both.

I had a female cockatiel who died and the vet said it was because she had depleted the calcium in her body by laying eggs. Since then I have removed the eggs and replaced them with smooth little white pebbles and the birds are fine. My oldest cockatiel is 26 years old!
