Hello, i have problem too. My battery could hold for 2-3 hours, but i've removed it cuz i wanted to reset bios and after that i've notice that my laptops turns off after few minutes on battery. The battery was fully charged, but laptop turns off. Right now my laptop cannot turn on on battery at all. And when i've meassured my + pin there is no voltage at all. If i measure my batteries from both sides there is 12.5 voltage. My laptop is x541sc ... I've bough second-hand battery like mine, but it's the same. No voltage from + pin. Is my BMS locked cuz i've removed my battery from the laptop or something like that? How we fix this?
RAMI ALAQQAD well im looking too They freeze batteries ( i never try this), They do the short on the pcb but not sure what place vid is not clear, They also disconnect all power from pcb for min. 10 sec and this one i will try doday but not much hope..

In actuality you need specialised hardware (i.e. EV2300/EV2400) with software (Smart Battery Workshop or Battery EEPROM Works) to really reset a laptop battery. Specifically the BQXXXX IC that is located on the PCB board - to which the 3 pairs of 18650 cells are connected to. 😑😕😒 I have an assembled/saved playlist with videos on this topic on my channel.
@@davidbolha Even worse: you most likely need both, the software by Texas Instruments is free, but the 2300 or 2400 interface is expensive. Besides that, you will need the inexpensive BE2works dongle and (expensive!) softwarelicense for BE2works. Be2Works will crack the security keys and though you can reset the device fully by use of BE2works, it takes a lot of calculating with offsets and such. The EV2x00 and accompanying software make this sooo much easier. Unless you want to start doing this as a business or your batteries are very expensive (350-500+ Euro like mine) this is feasible, otherwise you'll be spending close to 500 euro or over for the software and both interfaces.
I've tried this method, even the batteries were replaced with new ones. but still not working normally. Windows says there is charging but the position remains 0% and no power is saved at all. bios still responds to failure. If there is a link, please advise. thanks.

Your bms is locked bcz you disconnect battery. Bms need continuous suppy when break bms locked.
