    My experience with them has been great. Only played Warzone so far and the 3D spatial sound was next level. No issues so far. I think they are great for FPS. Can clearly hear footsteps, movements around me, above, below and actually got called out for cheating as I anticipated exactly when and where players were going to enter a room or come around a corner. I highly recommend them for COD.

    Man it's so crazy what you said about the dongle. I thought something was wrong with my dongle because it was extremely hard to push in and pull out. Mind you I have the Sony pulse explore earbuds also and it comes with the same dongle, but that one was much easier to push in and pull out.

    I’ve had a lot of headsets from Steelseries,TurtleBeach to Audeeze Maxwells and these sound fantastic,I wish they where a tiny bit more comfortable as my ears ever so slightly touch the drivers,you can pick up another Dongle for around £20 from Argos or I think there a bit dearer from Sony,I haven’t had any issues with the Dongle’s fit on my OG PS5 though I use the front Port maybe it got a bit warm on the back and weakened the plastic.

    I ordered the new headset. It was an excellent tool for a full week and then, but I faced the problem of not charging the headset and the headset did not work at all. Please help if anyone has information.🙏🏻

      Send it back. Sony dropped the ball. Get your money back now. You can always buy it again in the future once Sony fixes it. Don’t sit and wait around for that while someone has your money.

      The Pulse Elite sounds better than the Astro 30, IMO. The mic is better too. The Pulse Elite are an absolute excellent choice once Sony fixes the disconnect issue.

    I am taking them back tomorrow. They have disconnected a few times while gaming. Those ear pads are going to fall apart in a few years or less. Then the head set will be unwearable. It also has to be turn on to use the 3.5mm.

    • @District.24
      @District.24  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, that’s silly that it has to be turned on to use the aux port. I forgot to mention it. I don’t disagree with you about the possibility the pads may wear out, but only time will tell. I will keep my eyes open for disconnects.

      My did same keep disconnecting, until I connect to usb c adapter and connect at front usb c connection never ever disconnected again, today try connect at the back to usb a as at the front its sticking out a lot, and then keep disconnecting again, so not sure its faulty or we have to wait update on firmware , hope it helps.

      Connecting the dongel on the back of the console will make it overheat if there not enough space for the airflow

      Got mine yesterday. Took me about 6 hours to decide they’re going back. Constant disconnecting. Crackling/popping noise. Extremely uncomfortable with PSVR2 and without the VR, they just slide all over your head. More Sony plastic junk they charge premium prices for. They don’t sound that great either.

    I'm going to throw my honest opinion criticize me if you want but who the hell is going to use these to listen to music in an outside scenario when you go out? Yes, they play music, but you cannot replace them for a traditional headset with cans designed to produce good mids highs lows travel and bass on music. These are designed for gaming. Do I find that the product looks beautiful? Yes, it does. I already have the Sony pulse 3D and they were and still are comfortable. These are going to be no different except that you are now getting a better experience in gaming audio over the first generation. As for music. I have my wh1000xm5 from Sony. So these I will not use for music outside my house.

    • @District.24
      @District.24  7 месяцев назад +1

      There’s all sorts of people in all sorts of situations that would lead them to use this headset outside. Not everyone can afford two headsets, and these days consumers are trying to get more for their dollars. Using a headphones for gaming is no different than using a gaming headset for music (I’m not talking about performance). Sometimes that’s all people can do. I wish I had money for a high-end pair of headphones- you know - something DMS or Zeos would approve of; alas I usually only have enough money to buy a gaming headset. EPOS’ H6PRO is my current pick for gaming and music listening.
      Maybe you can buy me a nice pair of headphones ;) ;).

    Pulse Elite is extremely uncomfortable with PSVR2. Putting it on top of the headset creates a gap in the ear cups and sound like hell. Under the headset and the headset has a hard time staying in location due to the weight pushing down on it. Have to make constant adjustments. Not to mention how the VR headset clamps the ear cups to your ears and in about 30 minutes things get painful. Without the VR, the support strap is like a smooth texture so it slides all over the place when moving your head around. It’s like the support band isn’t tight enough or grippy enough.
    Everything is lightweight cheap plastic. So all the weight is on the ear cups. Hence the reason they move around so much.
    Noticing a crackling/popping noise occasionally not to mention 5 drop outs altogether in the audio where it disconnects in 3 hours. I’ve reset the link adapter numerous times and repaired twice. Same issues.
    But hey, they sound pretty decent. Can’t wear them without constantly adjusting them or being in pain if you’re using the same companies VR headset. Just unbelievable. I really wanted to like these things.

      @@District.24 Nothing sorrowful about it man. I’m not sad in the least. A bit disappointed because I really wanted them but such is life. I think the best solution for the VR is to get those old school Koss clip on headphones. The ones that clip around each ear. I had a pair of those years ago with an iPod and they sounded amazing. Found a pair for $20 on Amazon. Saves me a ton of money eh and also putting more hundreds Into Sonys pocket

    Do not buy.
    I just returned mine. Features do not override the terrible sound and lack of body and low end. There is now low end or bass.
    The original pulse has better low end and bass.
    Sony bought audeze and I thought this new elite headset would be right up there with the penrose and maxwell, it’s not.
    Absolutely terrible headset

    • @District.24
      @District.24  7 месяцев назад

      Naw. It’s a nice clear sound. You can always add more bass through the EQ if you prefer.

  • @bond008a9
    @bond008a9 7 месяцев назад +1

    What a disappointment by Sony. NO mixer. NO bass. Treble is absolutely too high bc planar magnetic dont do bass. Headstrap is garbage and this falls off your head. AI noise cancelling doesnt work. Hanger is a joke that you have to screw into wall or your nice tv stand/desk. They could have included a small table clamp. Wait til these clearance for $50. Much better options for under $150. From packaging to design to sound these are junk. If you enjoy listening to AM radio these are the headset for you.

    • @District.24
