@@janetbailey6727 This makes me very happy, I have always loved the Hughes 500 / MD530 series Helicopters. & of coarse the NOTARS. I was told last year that they are getting H125 (AS350) helicopters. I really hope that the news you received is correct 👍😎
@@EdWhisenantAviation I just found out also that the Burbank/Glendale Police department Joint Air Support Unit just bought a new MD530F Helicopter for their fleet and they will replace it with their oldest MD520N Notar Helicopter the N102CG the last time they fly the N102CG was 4 years ago back in 2019.
@@SebastianBarajas-zm4br This is really good news that they purchased a brand new MD530F. I really like the MD530F's and will enjoy seeing them flying around. No disrespect to the AS350/H125 AStar's but I see them flying all the time so will be nice seeing something else for a change. When I talked to the pilots at Huntington Beach P.D. they said that they really love the MD530F's that they purchased. Thank you again for the good news. 👍😎

Very uniquie helicopter. Here in Hungary flying 3 Police MD500E. Hungarian Police Department bought 6 pieces in 1990-91 (3 of the 6 crashed unfortunatelly). I love those machines also.
