you should've accounted for any seperate laws in the Netherlands while you were in the nether
As a person from the Netherlands i gotta say that the laws in my country are like hell sometimes, so it makes sense.
That would have been hilarious
Except for murder, kidnapping building and manning forced labor camps using villagers? No crimes at all. This is before I saw toycats video.
You are forgetting abou all of the witchcraft and breaking of the laws of reality time and gravity.
@@brenobassocenci6571 Wait thats illegal?
@@crazy-Cookie-kittyofficers get him!!
Your forgetting that theyre not equals to steve so its ok
wait you didnt think of stealing or tresspassing?
The first one isn't really littering. Cutting down a tree your expected to leave branches and other stuff behind when it's cleared out. Saplings could be counted as seeds, something good to leave behind depending on the area and well, sticks are sticks.
"Sticks are sticks" that's deep
Yeah like it's all natural.
I think rotten flesh should count as cannibalism because it’s not rotten just because they’re zombies; flesh rots normally after something is killed
But the zombies are already dead...
i would say for zombie villagers yes bc they can be revived therefore are technically living but zombies are dead and can never be revived so they’re fine to kill
@@bislama1we just haven't found the way yet
Desecration of a corpse
6:38-7:10 ibxtoycat adds arson and murder to his list of crimes.
😂😂😂
Steve would be sentenced to death, but he'd just keep infinitely respawning, so we'd just have to go with life in prison.
But if fed, he'd never die, either.
What if Steve were attacked by other prisoners?
It’s the UK, so the death penalty is not an option. He could be sentenced to be “detained at His Majesty’s pleasure.”
Of course, if Steve never uses his prison bed, or breaks it, he could arrange his own death and respawn outside the prison.
@@TheGoldNinja101, Steve is very evil after committing all those crimes, it would be too risky to put him in a cell with others. He'd be isolated. Besides, the guards would have given him a new bed in his cell. He'd respawn there.
@@jdotoz, they would probably have to build the prison around the area of Steve's respawn point, so he couldn't escape.
Technically, the Blazes and the other goons of the fortress should be the ones defending. You are basically raiding and looting a fortress that is occupied.
Let's go a viking!
In Minecraft, If I kill a cow in front of a baby cow, I would be charged for child endangerment, child abandonment, child trauma, and murder of a parent. 1 life + 1 life min per child, 10 years of prison time.
Honestly id have to say the very first one wouldn't be considered a crime. Sticks and apples and saplings would technically be biodegradable meaning the earth would benefit from them being left behind and "littered" if you think of it in minecraft logic.. thats what happens when you dont pick them up they (despawn)meaning earth absorbed them😊
(Fun fact): you dont actually need a diamond pickaxe to move/break an enchantment table, you can use your fist and it will still drop, this also works with furnaces beacons and shulker boxes, i know this works on bedrock but i am unsure about java”
Referring to 10:23
I think it also works on java, im pretty sure
@@emi_fluffy probably does lol, i just haven’t played on Java so I’ve got no idea-

Toycat you should try to break every law in Minecraft to see how it would add up. It would be an interesting experiment.
Good idea.
@@LyteRetroalready did it. Hardest one was terrorism, I had to build the twin towers
That would be a lot of laws
@@Anonymouslikemydad Very unnecessary, the definition of terrorism does not mention anything about any identical towers. Besides, there are many other examples of "terrorism" anyway.

thing is the dragon is an animal. Feel like that would fall under killing an endangered animal. Which under US law i know not UK law but still anyway would get you Fines According to The Endangered Species Act, any persons who bring danger or death to an endangered animal can receive fines up to $100,000. Also you can spend up to one year in jail in addition to their fine.
yeah but it's not on the endangered species list so it's not legally classified as an endangered species. Therefore fair game to kill.
@@jacobschweiger5897if it was real it would be considered an endangered species
@@jacobschweiger5897the dragon is also pregnant since it drops a dragon egg
@@SJrad well it's not on the list. Whether a species is legally endangered or not does not relate to how many of it exists. It just depends on whether the species is on the list or not. They could add flies to the list and it would become illegal to kill them even though they aren't endangered.
Ah yes, when you cut down a tree in real life, you have to pick up EVERY LITTLE TWIG, or you are littering 👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
EXCACTLY
Wow I've committed lots of crimes....
Same
In Minecraft right?
Right?
While I’m not sure “killing a zombie” would be any crime, defiling a corpse could be.
“i don’t think you’ve been conducting tax records for all this stuff”
villager: 🏃💨
6:01 literally made me laugh so hard
And that villager suddenly got named Yoshi.
Villager: “I am an NPC. The devs keep track of every trade made with us and every block you mine and store in chests.”
Lol. So technically the villager does keep tax records if you take into account that the devs apparently can see what the most popular blocks are, most popular village trades, etc so that they can get a better idea of what they should do next update.
@@dylandepetro4187 that’s just standard data collection. technically taxes aren’t involved
@@schizohopper I know. Lol. That is sort of the joke.
@@dylandepetro4187 ah, it definitely went over my head then
Littering does not apply :-). The leaves dropped it, not me. And the items despawn, so no evidence = no crime. I recently had to stop myself from just dropping a plastic bottle thinking 'it will despawn'. Maybe I've played too much minecraft for a while.
yeah i agree. the real life comparison would be to pick up all the acorns or pinecones from the tree which are the equivalent of saplings. it'd be better for the ecosystem to leave those all there
Your Honor, though my client's many crimes are inexcusable, they were acting in the name of scientific exploration and learning when they entered the realm known as "The End".
Their mission, and motive, in exploring this region was to further crafter knowledge and understanding of the wonderful blocks that make up our universe.
However, it was the dragon that was the aggressor, preventing my client from leaving or returning home. Furthermore, my client would have been forever trapped in that realm, for it is seemingly designed to be inescapable by means that do not involve the death of at least one of these dangerous dragons.
It is for these reasons, I ask that the charge of genocide be dismissed.
This was both entertaining and annoying. 😂 So many times I want to "Well, actually...".
Fun idea though.
ya but if u think about it the end is like the equivalent of north korea and it would be a literal world-sized crime if you just went into north korea and killed kim jon un to escape
Wait... did you identify the iron golem as an officer of the law? So: resisting arrest, assault of an officer and first degree murder?
Interesting... by the way, there are places in Québec province that you do not have the right to carry any types of weapons what so ever (in Montreal or Québec city)... other places that you can, but only if you prouve that you do only intent to carry it from a store to your house or from your house to a weapon practicing facility and the weapon must be sheltered and locked in a way that it takes more than 10 seconds to unlock and makes ready to use (Laurentides, Lanaudière regions)... and even there are places where not carrying a fire weapon ready to be used is considered as criminal negligence by the local police (Baie James and north ...because of wild animals)... and also, i have the right to commit murder on one specific condition and it is when i get attacked by someone that seems to have murderous intentions toward me and there is no way i can neutralise the agressor nor stun him until the police arrive... i mean in desperate mesure... the law say that i must try to flee and call the police, then i must protect myself without harming the agressor until the police arrive... but if it is not possible, i do not have the right to let him kill me... in clear words... the only way i have to commit murder is when it is not possible to for me to survive otherwise... so... try to reason him, lie to him, try to bribe him are accepted... ...when the agressor is holding a weapon, i still do not have the right to intentionnaly use a crowd as a humain shield as i will be accused to have put life of citizens in danger but if it works and i manage to kill him that way... i will not be accused of murder but only of criminal negligence against fellow citizens... the sentence is not fix but it is circonstential... many peoples see the philosophy of Canada law as "the governement oblige you to live as long as you can so you pay taxes that long"... ...oh and without any visible thread arround, i do not have the right to enter someones house without consent of the residents... leaving your front door wide open is an act of invitation and consent to "surprise visit" by the way... ...and act of vigilanty is totaly prohibited... ...oh and for zombies... i guess that.... if there is any way to cure him in the near futur or even in a distant futur, i do not have the right to kill him, i just have the right to nutralize him unless he is un-nutralizable until the police arrives...
New video idea! Can you beat Minecraft without breaking these rules? Technically you can kill the dragon if it hurts you first..
Can’t loot war graves or sunken ships with lives lost and still aboard
You never know where all those drowned are coming from.
Ahyoo, he pays his taxes to grox. Why burn down his house

Is it illegal loot a warship? Since you know it’s a ship filled with weapons and explosives that would make a lot of money and in most cases it’s in a battlefield.
Goverments probably have claim on them
@@radijzplaystation3221what government exists in Minecraft to claim ownership of the warship

Killing endangered species, child labor, kidnapping, mass murder, harassment (of villagers and sheep),vandalism, etc
So according to British law, if my heart stops while in jail for murder I can get released?
I vaguely recall reading about someone having heart attack in prison, being declared legally dead for a minute or two, before resuscitation worked. They had 3 life sentences so it actually took one off.

If you get sent to minecraft prison you can just mine your way out
Steve is still a miner probably, he might have law exemption.
If someone intrudes into your house without permission, say, through an unlocked door, they're an intruder. You can call the fuzz
In Texas you can kill them.
The punching cow isnt against the law in minecraft because they are a necessity ( survival )
@luissuazo3684 I find flint and steal is a much more efficient way ( hmm cooked steak )
No one else is in the world laws dont exist unless someone enforces them. If villigers learn to fight, though, you may end up in the minecraft nuremberg trials
If there's no cops around anything's legal
You don’t the right to bear arms but do have the right to open a portal to hell? Wild!
10:25 you can mine an etable with iron
My favorite thing to do in Minecraft is to steal all the coral reefs off of the aboriginal coast. Sure the indigenous peoples are always pissed, and Interpol is still after me, calling it "an international crime of environmental terrorism" whatever that means, but it didn't look like anyone was using it! It was just sitting there...
Self defense and calling the cops if someone is trespassing your home not being legal is CRAZYYYY.....
Is piglin gold trading technically gambling, and they would need a license for that

I wonder which part of killing numerous animals that's not yours, killing endangered species (ender dragon, warden), draining ocean or building on land that's not yours, is a problem?
Yeah, so uhhh.... I committed like 100,000 murders in this game a few years ago, also attempted murders, assaults, thefts, vandalism, arson, tresspassed into a place I was banned from and whatnot and probably enjoyed killing all those people too much soooo...
The villager didn’t subscribe to toy cat or they wouldn’t have had a house fire!

If Toycat is following UK laws then i don't think he would be able to craft any sharp objects
What about invading an unknown dimension, killing the creatures that inhabits it for their loot, and trading with a tribal species that couldn't be aware of items value? Trading with piglins is practically like when the natives traded gold for mirrors and stuff.... Shouldn't be like scamming or something?
They're generally the ones trading their crap for your gold, though.
@@tctheunbeliever you got a point.... Maybe the are the scammers.... 🤔
You skipped slavery and human trafficking... the things we make the villagers go through...
Killing a zombie is PURELY self defense....same with a skeleton.
Spiders are a different issue
If I understand correctly, a "weapon" is defined as anything used with intention to cause harm to living beings or structures, meaning that yes, a pickaxe would make you "armed with a weapon" if you are using it in a violent manner.
So if my socks are smelly enough to knock someone cold, is it a weapon
OK, so a creeper is just hanging out in a village one night, wandering around and not attacking anyone. Here I come, knowing that he'll blow up if I get near him. I approach him and he explodes, causing significant property damage and personal injury to myself and to third parties who were too stupid to go indoors when the sun went down. Am I liable for the damages, and does the fact that he obliterated himself affect the amount I owe? Will I be criminally charged for contributing to the commission of a crime?

You forgot arson. For setting things on fire. Homes and businesses. Legal business or not lol didn't matter. Still arson
Should killing zombies not be mutilation/unlawfully disposing of a corpse? Also I’m pretty sure killing a “police officer” is different to normal murder. Wouldn’t it be murder AND assaulting an officer?
Yeah but I need armor for fighting mobs and I am helping the villagers by harvesting their crops and stuff
Mining/cutting without owning the mineral/logging rights (i.e. theft). Strip mining or not restoring the natural environment. Stealing agricultural produce, such as wheat bales, berries, carrots, beets. Building without permits.
