This challenge was unique and forced toycat to play from new angles.. and I personally thought this was awesome. I would not mind seeing more creative challenges like this.
One thing this video misses is the small things he does that are hilarious, like making a trail of furnaces or having the creepers blow up diamonds instead of iron and having chat tell at his inventory management. Such an awesome stream series. Great job IBXTOYCAT!
Or how he kept being unable to sleep because somehow whenever he tried to sleep, it was always daytime, and it was first like near the end of the challenge that he finally managed to sleep, if I remember correctly.
Just a really funny coincidence, caveman being unable to sleep, ooga booga! XD
Tunnel widening was the critical part of this run, kept the whole thing going smoothly.

Awesome recap of this challenge. I totally enjoyed the replays and being able to see the final one live. Can't wait to see it continue. Wouldn't a tnt launcher help in getting the wings? Hopefully the explosion knocks the frame and everything out?

This was a great series, it was really awesome to watch the liveatreams on this series, especially to see small random things that happens, like the "incontinent" furnace tunnel and bridge or chat yelling for inventory management, or the use of anvils instea dof regular swords or weaponry
Toycat never disappoints! One of the best Minecraft youtubers for sure.
It looks likes the 404 challenge where tou collect resources the first day and you try to survive the longer time possible

I did a cave challenge like this, but it wasn’t on hardcore and I could go above y 0. I also allowed myself to use chunkbase and go in spectator mode on the same seed to figure out where things are. Eventually I managed to get to the nearest mineshaft and get wood, but I haven’t gotten a stable food source. My base is in a mesa, so I’m going to make golden carrots once I get a big enough farm

you could try changing the spawn radius when creating the world to reduce the amount of times you spawn in lava.

Me and the kids are trying to do this having started out watching the first episode and grabbing the seed. We don't have "easy core", and died many times along the way, but we now have just located the stronghold and an Ancient City. There is a small lush cave surprisingly close to spawn (which we found only after digging 400 blocks to a different one that also had 2 spider spawners and a skeleton spawner). Next step is to make the villagers having grabbed books. Great idea this challenge.

You could maybe gather tnt and build an upwards tnt cannon to blow up the item frame with an elytraso it would drop on the ground
You could cannon tnt upwards to a ship and release an elytra like that.

Did you know that Java and Bedrock coordinates are not the same and how do you feel about it?
By this I mean that Bedrock worlds are centered on a single block whereas Java worlds are centered on 4 blocks. Therefore, a desert well can only be in the exact center of a Bedrock world and a village well can only be in the exact center of a Java world.
