Let's hope they tone down guardians to 45%. I think 60% feels too much health 😅
If anyone in the PTS observed something different of this and they're actually making everyone getting a real Illuminate II, I would like to know, but I guess you got the Illuminate thing wrong. In the patch notes says: "Increased Range you see targets in Stealth from 15 > 30". And I know... the same value of Illuminate II, except Illuminate II INCREASES our Range by 30. Considering that we have 15 units for default Range, when we buy Illuminate II, our total range is 45 (default 15 + 30 increase). So they made everyone's Range as if we had bought Illuminate I, increasing our Range to 30 (default 15 + 15 increase).

The games in general would have to be longer. And it would make the credit item would be a must pick. Keep it four item keeps the game somewhat strategic, so you’re items matter.

Let's just hope that if/when they do make a sequel to Paladins, that they do make it a different game and not just slap the number 2 on it.

I think the lack of a 5th slot is because people normally dont even get enough credits to make use of the item shop fully. If they were to add a 5th slot it would just be an insta hoard pick for bonus credit generation and at that point remove the 5th slot and make hoard passive for all players. Also the omen changes were a huge buff for those who know how to use him
How was that an omen buff? It's reduced dmg by 20% and you now have to put a lot of points into it where as before you could've used it as a filler card.
i actually think the new item shop having so many options now is good, the old shop was quite stale and streamlined, while now taking the enemies and your own teams playstyles, champs and loadouts into account. Aka reading into how the game sill play out and your place in that will be rewarded.
Raventric , i personally like the unique items in the beyond mode - obviously the locked till you get there method shouldnt be a thing. they should just do it normal item-shop/tree for those uniques
(also i dont get whats with pal players not wanting anything to change)(obviously item lock is dumb yes but the newer awesome items you get from beyond are kwl) anyways happy Paladins "2" bb
Kinda wild to me that they brought in so many new items but still maintained the 4 item slot restriction.
I don't see any reason why it should. It's supposed to add more options, not make everyone directly stronger by letting them have 5 items. There is no reason why adding new choices should also let you pick more of those choices. It'd be like if they added new cards and you said "why do we get these new cards but not more card slots and points?"

Being negative all the time won't solve anything. It obviously has it's flaws but being unsupportive isn't helping the cause. If you don't like the game anymore, just leave. Probably for the same reason HiRez had to do Smite 2, because Paladins is also made in Unreal 3

As a Point tank player the Khan changes actually made me rage. Why is it EASIER to land?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MANY GRAB BOTS IM GOING TO FACE NOW?
It was never hard to land to begin with lol. This game is like vastly more forgiving mechanically than any other FPS I've played (which isn't a bad thing)

Ahh Paladins, the hero shooter with the opportunity to be successful now that OW2 is in the gutter yet consistently keeps shooting themselves in the foot.
This update is fun because it's like they only took ideas or advice from high level players and complicated the game further for new players which is gonna hurt the games player count and entry level into the game.
Sky can still ZOOM out of range within a second so she'll wreck on console
Most dmg characters don't do enough dps to break down the buffed shields in game now
A stun Damba requires two items to counter between in hand and ult (along with other characters I'm assuming)
Casual games are gonna be such an even bigger mess now.
It really doesn't hurt new players. Illuminate was bad for new players, and they've fixed that. Also you are just wrong about the damba thing lol

Say what you want about Overwatch…the game is stable.
Its also illuminate 1 at base not 2, which is a buff to skye and other stealth characters not a nerf ❤.

All jokes aside how are they gonna go from nerf buffing kill to heal by reducing the amount u heal by -100hp per level and allow others to heal from it if they assist the kill just to later change the name, description, AND increase the PRICE!? Like bro its still the same item. This item store change is the equivalent to Kanye West changing his name to Ye and increasing the price on all his products. A more bougie version of its old self.
(edit) I just noticed. when they nerf buffed it the first time they added the immunity from caut, and now i don't think it has that immunity so the item is actually worst but costs more... Holy Shit Hi-Rez
Paladins is a very good game as in play feel, but the lack of new maps and items especially for my main drogoz...cmon every champ got new skins me still in 2017 bro.. Anyways I think with the correct marketing and new maps with champ skins and different goals in game, they can get it up to a mainstream level game. Maybe not like valorant (which I hate) but 70% close to it will be fine.

so i stopped playing paladins about 2 weeks after raventric said "NO" to the yago bikini skin... I played league since then, And I can say that its literally paladins but without the bugs... In all honesty paladins has every chance to be popular, but by paying people to rename kill to heal for no reason i dont think the company is trying to make that happen... Still, there is hope in my heart, Also fuck league
Ill be honest, Im kinda still keeping my fingers crossed for a Paladins 2 if Smite 2 doesnt set its playerbase on fire or even grows. Paladins has been the only legitimate modern competitor for Overwatch, and with Overwatch 2 circling the drain in the eyes of the players, a massive announcement of Paladins 2 to show how to do a hero shooter sequel could be just what is needed.

So they made tanks fucking unkillable, essentially raum. And made skye practically a throw pick since everyone can see her now.
Why split the items like that? People aren’t gonna want to check every ability in the game just to see which item affects what, especially casuals.

They nerfed a character that didn't need nerfed what about talus, being able to spawn on you and insta kill you basically hes basically a make version from Skye and he does 3x damage than Skye or Corvus that completely heals people back to full health or Vora that also does stupid amount of damage like I mained Skye and idk how people thought she needed nerfed now we have have new champions that are completely overpowered
Maybe they'll get rid of loot boxes and switch to battle pass and give all the champions reowrks

As someone about to try out paladins cause overwatch has been kinda suckin. If they could do a sequel good. I think itd be worth a shot. But it doesn’t sound like hopes are too high for that.

Actually its Illuminate 1 at base kit now, not Illuminate 2. Normal range used to be 15 units and adfitional 15 units per lvl of Illuminate, but next Update its going to be 30 units range. So only Illuminate 1

actually every champ always had a 15 unit illuminate on base kit, now that they buffed it to 30 unit base kit means we got the equivilant of illum 1 only wich is not enough at all
Sounds, narrow chokepoints, any aoe ability, half the champions with reveal and tier 1 illuminate is way more than enough don't worry about it
@viltautasYT I find it weird for these changes to take place though. Sneaky champions are usually only massively powerful vs newbies or lower skill players. Removing illuminate is kinda weird to me, since newbies will need all the vision they can to deal with skye lmao especially on console

After seeing smite 2 and hearing for how long has it been in the making .....i totally believe that paladins 2 is being worked on right now , but its so early for any official announcement to be made.
I present no concrete evidence but more so speculations off of a variety of things:
Like the toned down release of content ever since 2020 , it could just be because of people moving on or the game not bringing in enough revenue and whatnot , but i personally believe that with the size of the team and all the talents that evil mojo has ....that wouldnt feel like a whole answer.....i personally think that the majority of the evil mojo development team are now working on making paladins 2 from the ground up , learning from past mistakes , building the game on stable code , possibly on unreal engine 5 too just like in smite , while a bunch of developers remain working on upkeeping current paladins in any way possible .....
I suspect that it will be announced in the next 2 or 3 years , and if it does eventually release ....the game will have an esports revivication period thatll probably span for a year , the esports will probably function the same way theyre gonna do it in smite 2 , it would make most sense that way , basically as in the esports scene will build itself on its own.

No, just no. Smite is much more popular than Paladins, has an actual playerbase and is a competitive game. Paladins had potential back in 2017-2018; sadly all they did was fuck up everything, making their players go away (let's not talk about OB64). The game is pretty much dead, it's highly more likely that they'll pull the plug in the next 2/3 years, than them making a "Paladins 2."
As a mostly Support Torvald player back in the day... I basically never had any chance to make veriaty in my items.
