Good Evies wreck Havoc but Evie is a hard character to be made OP by accident. Most changes would just make her more accessible for lower skill players.
You should know that reload speed caps at 60%, so you don't need both the card and deft hands. Ideally, you either take the reload speed card at lvl4 and go for deft hands 2, or don't use the card at all and go for deft hands 3. The 5th lvl of the card is useless if you plan on reaching that 60% cap.
I think he's designed to be an assassin rather than a fighter. With his high mobility, he can escape easily and get back in to secure a kill. His ultimate is best when you're latched on a wall in stealth, wait for the enemies to come, and make them scramble to find you or run away. But yeah, too many edgelord pro assassins in this game; they fear his name Vatu, they fear his name Koga, they fear her name Vora, Andro, etc.
im glad Evil Mojo always comes out with unique new designs - like a masked assassin flank with a quick dash with edgy voice lines and a theme of Shadows and darkness.
In all seriousness, he feels too gimmicky. Ditch the (pretty much useless) automatic mode and make Burst the default fire, have Mag Dump as separate ability tied to RMB (with like a 3-5 second cooldown and reduced recoil) and have the "reduce recoil" card instead reduce the bloom. It's just more bloat otherwise, same story as Azaan, Rei and Yag.

When you don't have the luxury of picking targets, switch to auto. Making mag dump an ability would also reduce the thought that goes into it, it's much harder to switch modes on the fly than it is to just click a button. It's another level you get to think on when playing the character that no one else really has. Making that decision to switch modes before a firefight is a huge part of his playstyle.
Well Raven I rather see a weaker champion, that can be buffed afterwards, than having champion, lime Azaan, who's overtuned right of edge, when he comes the live servers. I guess its easier, to make a character stronger without overtuning him, than nerfing without making him too weak.

Sadly with the caut changes double support will always be insanely strong. The only way to fix it is to bring back caut stacking, otherwise there's no way to stop double support besides running double support as well or if they're simple terrible at the game.
Dble healer is strong unless their team doesn't make it to round 1 . The more you stand the less their healing is effective . when it's come to 3 rounds equal , the double support is just a double dead weight .
If you get rolled hard enough and can’t stop there momentum it doesn’t matter early caut was your best friend for shutting it down early now you can just lose so fast that it doesn’t matter
I dont know about It on PC but i feel on console teams with 2 supports loose most of the time at least in my games... If they have 2 supports u Just have to focus on the dps... If u manage to kill the DPS you Will resist till cauter kicks in... It Will Be harder if they have an off support that focus heal his DPS like corvus... Then u must Hope that your DPS are way Better than their... If their off healer Is a DMG healer like furia, grohk or ying i dont feel like It Is such of a problem... And If they play 2 main healers its even easier... Onestly more than a "2 supports" meta i think we have a "people sucks at flankers so Who has the best/less bad flanker Wins" meta and this Is why they made all this movement based flankers...
Found a loadout so you don't have to reload, it's literally just nightwatch 4 with any other cards. But i run latch and fire 4, the night 2, night watch 4, red room 3, and the fear 2. I also use tribunal upgrades. If you cycle effectively you can grapple to a wall, get a kill with automatic, grapple again, get 16 ammo for switching, get a kill with burst which will reduce your cooldowns by 2 seconds. And now you can either dodge roll or grapple out of combat. Then switch past mag dump back to automatic and rinse and repeat
Give him a health buff, decrease mag size from 40 to 30 and buff Mag Dump's damage or recoil stability, allow him to switch more freely at the cost of a nerf to the mod that gives ammo upon switch, and maybe give VII immunity to CC for the first 2-3 seconds being latched to walls. I honestly wish they gave him a pistol/handcannon instead of his SMG mode, because at least then, he'd have a precision weapon to fire so he can utilize cover and peekfiring more effectively. This champion could have been amazing, but so many of his aspects are just counterintuitive and do the opposite of synergize with each other. That said, I'm still going to play him and try to optimize him for myself, but at this point, Androxys is just way tankier and better at killing, and Drogoz is practically a better flank despite being a damage class character. EDIT: Nvm no, he does not need it - god he's so broken and I'm so broken with him. A buff would be nice, but he's already good now that I've played him more. As a VII main, he's insane if played well.
His weapon does not fit his playstyle. Someone made a good comparison, imagine giving Vatu Koga's SMGs, it just would not work. I wish he didn't have these alt fires and instead had some kind of combo dmg ability. His mobility is fun tho, do not touch that. And speaking of metas, remember hyper mobility meta ? Most fun I ever had with the game.
I feel like Seven is the embodiment of why I love characters like Evie and Drogoz. That insane mobility. The only problem is, like Raven said, he just feels underwhelming in terms of damage.

I think his deal is really all about misdirection and ambush. Ive been grappling high up and then either dripping down and setting c4 and attacking with automatic. Can grapple back up and repeat. I'm pretty sure his ult is mean for when you're invisible on the Wall. The base ult for either scaring group enemy or as a way to spring a suprise attack with one enemy. Same with overcharged. Its meant to be used when youre stealthed then drop in to finish them off. His damagr is pretty abysmal though.

Every time a flank is capable of actively 1v1 DMing with their backline that flank ends up being either busted or obnoxious to play against or both (see: vora). VII is excellent at confirming kills and making it out before their teammates know they're dead, and forcing split attention by occupying really awkward and disconnected angles That being said I agree that having a suppressed pistol champ would be nice, we currently don't have any character whose primary weapon is a low-caliber pistol suited for tactical espionage action. the closest we've got is Saati, but her gun is like a cartoon deagle.
Not necessarily. A good flank hero needs to be able to 1v1 a squishy at full health and do well against them in the first place. The whole point of a flank is to have extremely high burst and good mobility at the compensation of low health. Flanks aren’t just cleanup. They need to be able to duel the champions they come against or they can’t do their job effectively.
U said everything that was needed here. Nice Flanks need to harass ppl and confirm kills or either burst through the enemy team, get to the squishies on the backline, kill them and get the heck outta there. He has multiple fire modes just for that, so he can be useful to the team even if he doesn't straight up dive the enemy team

That's a shame because I had an idea for a character much like him a while back accept he was a she who was a airship mechanic who used a grapple hook and deployed traps. She was definitely a steam punk type of character
You should know his burst mode does 900 damage per burst even though it says 450. For some reason his 3 round burst does 6 ticks of damage. If you don't believe me land two body shots on vik or ying in the training grounds and then 2 shots of his full auto. It takes exactly 2 shots at 200 dmg a piece meaning that the 3 round burst does 6 ticks of 150 and not 3. His ult do suck though.
I do semi-auto with double dash bombs and hook refresh, with healing when on the wall. I'm consistently the top of the board with that loadout. Can't stand mag dump, if you miss, you're dead. E V E R Y T I M E.
his default gameplay style is high mobility and up close damage. You can shoot far with automatic but the damage is tiny compared to mag dump. What's more, he's no sniper like Cassie anyway. 🤔

I think his ult should proc faster but his trailer showed he canceled corvus projection Either make his ult do slightly more damage and silence and no longer fear targets Or make it does more damage and fear targets
ive gotten the most fun and effectiveness out of 7 by playing like im batman(grappling somewhere high and dropping on an unsuspecting victim) using mainly mag dump with a self sustain deck which can get me around 80k dmg consistently
I’m not sure if you did what I call a Super jump but while playing him in PTS I found you can jump insanely high. I used my grapple on (preferably something higher than you of course) and then cancelled AND jumped right after activating grapple and boy did I fly to Mars. I did this in PTS a while ago and I don’t think they’ve found it yet.
if you roll and insta hook the ground in front of you at about a 50 degree angle you shoot to the moon as well. only tested in shooting range but it worked about 80% of the time.
I personnally start with the exact same loadout and gamplay as u for VII but after when i unlock the last talent i build deck that allows me to dash infinitly with chronos 3. (U have to wait 4s to have back ur 2 grappins charge and between 2 and 3s with chronos 2. And also 0 second if i do assist. Them i start enjoying my life playing seven bullying every single ennemi with the riffle mod. I do like 2 or 3 death for 30 kill each time i am on map with uge uge verticality but also i m still playing the reload burst mod gamplay on map like shatter desert.
Yea he needs more health. Its kinda dumb that he has as much hp as vatu. Difference being vatu has a shitload of mobility like evie to keep him from dieing. VII doesn't really have that. Atleast not as much as vatu. so he needs a default 2000 health atleast. Im not to sure if he would need any other buffs after that but yea his health is way too low.

Every time I get a VII on my team they're always playing him as just another damage character; staying as far away from the fight as possible. On the other hand the enemy VII is invading our backline killing him so I honestly root for the enemy in a 1v1
I just sit on a wall invisible and use the ult then just mag dump as many people as i can if i feared multiple people. but yeah the ult is bad for any other build besides mag dump.
I'ma be honest. His low health actually intimidates a lot of people but if your an agressive aim Andy you will kill the f out of people with the mag dumb. The different shooting types does work for crowd control as strange as it seems. Automatic forces them to sort of pay attention to me as my friends get that opening. The semi is good snipe shots and mag dump is dumb death
VII's problem is that he has 0 good sustain cards. I don't think any functioning flank in the game has 0 sustain cards when his character has no invincibility moments.
Idk if u have tried this build, but you didnt mention it at all. It is by far his best build. Its a infinite cycle build. It consists of the roll to grapple reset and grapple to roll reset cards on lvl 5 with his final talent (that talant is vital). The last cards are up to u, but i use the one that gives me ammo on roll and health if i grapple an enemy both on lvl 2, with a filler. It is fully based on Andrew chickens "Best build for VII" video. U should definetly give it a shot since it provides an INFINITE COOLDOWN CHAIN with both of his movement abilitys if u have cronos 3. This makes him by far the most mobile charcter in the game, with the best and by far most versatile grapple and a very great bursty dodge. Btw while grinding VII to lvl 20 yesterday, i found that using burst mode and clicking heads like andro is very consistent and does decent damage for a flank while retaining great range. I use the dodge to roll TROUGH enemys, kinda like koga to make them trigger my first mines, then grapple them into my second mines, roll again, grapple again, then get out. It is one of the best burst combos, easiely able to kill squishishys within 1.5 seconds. Shoot 450+ 300-450 from the mines, 450 again, 150 for the grapple, 300-450 from the other mines. Im not counting in potential headshots and this works best if u poke them for 1 or 2 burst before u send on them. I have killed entire 3 man backlines mostly by my myself in less than 8 seconds and still got out ( infinite resets ya know). I have enjoyed ur conntent for a long time now and this is just supposed to be konstruktive critisism, but i would really apprechiate if you could add a pinned comment or something to elaborate this. With the reset build VII is easiely a A+ character, very similar but a little bit more rangy than launch Vatu. Try the build or watch Andrews video, but that build is borderline broken and extremely fun.

Because i can send you a clip of me chaining mobility 12 (or 11 times ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) in a row. The, by far most powerfull mobility in the whole game, that has ever existed. Also very fun to use.
VII's mobility is not intented to allow you to attack while flying through the map, that would be Vora's playstyle. His mobility is made in a way so u can be constantly repositioning yourself to get the best spots to shoot, and imo this makes him very unique and fits with his gun.
I agree, the best part about VII that will become more and more apparant as the meta develops is how different he is, want to stay at range? use burst/automatic! want to go flank a healer at close range? use mag dump! his insane mobility combined with the potential to change playstyles by just right clicking is such an interesting idea to me
It's nice to have options but the moment I saw his gun had 3 modes red alarms started going off. It's better to be good at one thing rather than ok at 3 others. It also pisses me off that his gun has a silencer but gets no bonus from it. Make him go stealth when he fires it from afar or have the enemy red hit marker denied. And I really don't need to spend words on his ult.
@@1OtherMr it's just an idea, of course with play testing we could actually figure out if it's good. As I said I wouldn't see it as a problem if he goes stealth only when far enough from enemies, where his gun starts to have a damage drop.

That's a shame because I had an idea for a character much like him a while back accept he was a she who was a airship mechanic who used a grapple hook and deployed traps. She was definitely a steam punk type of character

You should know his burst mode does 900 damage per burst even though it says 450. For some reason his 3 round burst does 6 ticks of damage. If you don't believe me land two body shots on vik or ying in the training grounds and then 2 shots of his full auto. It takes exactly 2 shots at 200 dmg a piece meaning that the 3 round burst does 6 ticks of 150 and not 3. His ult do suck though.

I do semi-auto with double dash bombs and hook refresh, with healing when on the wall. I'm consistently the top of the board with that loadout. Can't stand mag dump, if you miss, you're dead. E V E R Y T I M E.

his default gameplay style is high mobility and up close damage. You can shoot far with automatic but the damage is tiny compared to mag dump. What's more, he's no sniper like Cassie anyway. 🤔

ive gotten the most fun and effectiveness out of 7 by playing like im batman(grappling somewhere high and dropping on an unsuspecting victim) using mainly mag dump with a self sustain deck which can get me around 80k dmg consistently

I’m not sure if you did what I call a Super jump but while playing him in PTS I found you can jump insanely high. I used my grapple on (preferably something higher than you of course) and then cancelled AND jumped right after activating grapple and boy did I fly to Mars. I did this in PTS a while ago and I don’t think they’ve found it yet.
if you roll and insta hook the ground in front of you at about a 50 degree angle you shoot to the moon as well. only tested in shooting range but it worked about 80% of the time.
I personnally start with the exact same loadout and gamplay as u for VII but after when i unlock the last talent i build deck that allows me to dash infinitly with chronos 3. (U have to wait 4s to have back ur 2 grappins charge and between 2 and 3s with chronos 2. And also 0 second if i do assist. Them i start enjoying my life playing seven bullying every single ennemi with the riffle mod. I do like 2 or 3 death for 30 kill each time i am on map with uge uge verticality but also i m still playing the reload burst mod gamplay on map like shatter desert.

Yea he needs more health. Its kinda dumb that he has as much hp as vatu. Difference being vatu has a shitload of mobility like evie to keep him from dieing. VII doesn't really have that. Atleast not as much as vatu. so he needs a default 2000 health atleast. Im not to sure if he would need any other buffs after that but yea his health is way too low.
VII has nearly infinite mobility with the right build...AndrewChicken has some vids on it.

Every time I get a VII on my team they're always playing him as just another damage character; staying as far away from the fight as possible. On the other hand the enemy VII is invading our backline killing him so I honestly root for the enemy in a 1v1
I just sit on a wall invisible and use the ult then just mag dump as many people as i can if i feared multiple people. but yeah the ult is bad for any other build besides mag dump.
his ultimate should definitely be reworked or buffed to oblivion

I'ma be honest. His low health actually intimidates a lot of people but if your an agressive aim Andy you will kill the f out of people with the mag dumb.
The different shooting types does work for crowd control as strange as it seems. Automatic forces them to sort of pay attention to me as my friends get that opening. The semi is good snipe shots and mag dump is dumb death

VII's problem is that he has 0 good sustain cards. I don't think any functioning flank in the game has 0 sustain cards when his character has no invincibility moments.

Idk if u have tried this build, but you didnt mention it at all. It is by far his best build. Its a infinite cycle build.
It consists of the roll to grapple reset and grapple to roll reset cards on lvl 5 with his final talent (that talant is vital). The last cards are up to u, but i use the one that gives me ammo on roll and health if i grapple an enemy both on lvl 2, with a filler.
It is fully based on Andrew chickens "Best build for VII" video. U should definetly give it a shot since it provides an INFINITE COOLDOWN CHAIN with both of his movement abilitys if u have cronos 3. This makes him by far the most mobile charcter in the game, with the best and by far most versatile grapple and a very great bursty dodge.
Btw while grinding VII to lvl 20 yesterday, i found that using burst mode and clicking heads like andro is very consistent and does decent damage for a flank while retaining great range. I use the dodge to roll TROUGH enemys, kinda like koga to make them trigger my first mines, then grapple them into my second mines, roll again, grapple again, then get out. It is one of the best burst combos, easiely able to kill squishishys within 1.5 seconds.
Shoot 450+ 300-450 from the mines, 450 again, 150 for the grapple, 300-450 from the other mines. Im not counting in potential headshots and this works best if u poke them for 1 or 2 burst before u send on them. I have killed entire 3 man backlines mostly by my myself in less than 8 seconds and still got out ( infinite resets ya know).
I have enjoyed ur conntent for a long time now and this is just supposed to be konstruktive critisism, but i would really apprechiate if you could add a pinned comment or something to elaborate this. With the reset build VII is easiely a A+ character, very similar but a little bit more rangy than launch Vatu. Try the build or watch Andrews video, but that build is borderline broken and extremely fun.

VII's mobility is not intented to allow you to attack while flying through the map, that would be Vora's playstyle.
His mobility is made in a way so u can be constantly repositioning yourself to get the best spots to shoot, and imo this makes him very unique and fits with his gun.
I agree, the best part about VII that will become more and more apparant as the meta develops is how different he is, want to stay at range? use burst/automatic! want to go flank a healer at close range? use mag dump! his insane mobility combined with the potential to change playstyles by just right clicking is such an interesting idea to me

It's nice to have options but the moment I saw his gun had 3 modes red alarms started going off. It's better to be good at one thing rather than ok at 3 others.
It also pisses me off that his gun has a silencer but gets no bonus from it. Make him go stealth when he fires it from afar or have the enemy red hit marker denied.
And I really don't need to spend words on his ult.
