I just love it...his voice is seasoned, the song is perfect for his voice. I'd buy his album any time.
Love his girls, my favourite part of this show is the family/friends reactions. Never too late to chase your dreams. His version is very moving.

I spent my young adult years listening to Harry at the R.E. This man is everything.

Beautiful beyond words
I’m from Brazil and I’ve seen this guy playing in a hotel in Byron Bay back in 2012. I’ve never seen somebody rock a crowd alone like he did with only an acoustic guitar. One of the best performers I’ve seen in all my life. Kudos to him.

This is why the voice is the best, not matter your age, look to the UK season 3, Sally Barker, almost the same age and almost win the voice, you just need to be talented
True! In all the other shows lik X-Factor and Idols they are looking for a pop idol. This is true musicality. All types of voices, young old it doesn't matter.. Love that! Talent is talent!
Only if the judges vote him true. As I think that the majority of the people can appreciate what he does but does not fall in love with it. The main public that watches these shows are relatively young and have another taste of music. But at least this is a stage where real talent can be seen. And it does not matter that you're different than others..
Unfortunately, that's not true. The judges can almost immediately tell an older and more refined voice apart. They rarely get turned around for or advance, even though the auditions are shown, because they're so good. Sasaundra on Voice UK was a notable exception, advancing as far as she did.

Of course they can. But the thing is, that if he competes to an 18 year old handsome boy who sings so and so, he'll lose in votes from the public. All those teenage girls will text. And that is a lot more than he can get vote wise. So then the vote of the coach is the only way to advance.
Some singers are an exception. Sisaundra Lewis (from The Voice US by the way) is extraordinary good. And she sings quite popular songs that artists do cover quite a lot these days.
Romeo and Juliet isn't a song that is covered that much and is known by the younger public..
TheVeenmeister yes, valid points.(ah yes, sorry Sisauynda was on Blake's team).. songs need to be contemporary and teenage girl votes always rule on these show. The other point is these shows also at least "try" to have their winners release a commercially viable record or two... to give the show more cache.. and that will be almost impossible with older artist.

These shows are usually so ageist (especially USA) . They can hear a refined and mature voice and they rarely turn around for them, even though the performances get shown on TV. I always appreciate giving these older pros a shot to get more viewing time, even if we know they won't go through later.

I've seen Harry a number of times @ my local pub last decade. He's a great performer. 1 of the women backstage is his wife. Maybe the 3 other women backstage are his daughters.
