    I work with an amazing PT who has totally changed my body, my movement, all of it. I was soooo screwed up it ain’t even funny. That said, for me your content is a fantastic supplement (can’t be seeing him all the time) and ALWAYS provides something new and useful to work with.
    Sincere thanks to you. 🙏

    OMG, I'm a very self-aware movement instructor, and you just "hit" on a great body "blind spot" of mine...
    I used to have TMJ pain, but I managed to do exercises to release and get rid of this tension, but I still carry some tension in my neck.
    I worked on my tongue positioning (also while sleeping using mouth taping) and I've seen great improvement.
    I love your explanations and exercises!
    My tongue surprised me and my jaw even more, when I tried to move one without the other 😂
    I realize I have still much work to do...

    Thank you so much 🙏

    Have been doing the tongue circles; the addition of this exercise really kicks it up a few knotches! I couldn't believe how how many areas got maxed out- almost painful! - speaking from someone who had whiplash, tmj, sleep apnea, continual neck issues for 50 yrs... I'm really looking forward to the changes this makes . Thank you MUCHLY!

    Just realised that the neck problems I have could be very well related to my tongue. My tongue is weak on both sides, my jaw wants to move with my tongue to help out.
    Had a herniated disk in my neck, got an artificial disk 10 years ago.
    Will surely start training my tongue!! ❤

    Hello loving your videos. Just need to know when I push on the side do I press the tongue back in?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  13 дней назад

      Just press the tongue into the cheek and your fingers into the cheek. They press against each other.

    I realized recently that I have a tongue tie at 40 years old. Is there something else that should be done about it, or just doing these exercises can help. I do have a lot neck, back and TMJ issues. Wondering if that could be partly because of it. Thanks for all your videos!

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  15 дней назад +2

      Welcome. These will not fix a tongue tie. These will help the nerve to the tongue and some of the things we mentioned in the video. Tongue tie always causes compensations elsewhere. We recommend surgical snipping of the tie. Consult a specialist to get their opinion.

    What do you do if your jaw moves when you do these? Just do them and eventually it will correct?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  12 дней назад

      Yes correct it takes practice until your nervous system learns the pattern. It can take some time

    Ive done the tongue circles 10 each side for a few days. My tongue burns pretty good afterwards. Feel like it might be contributing to the neck/ headache I feel today. Maybe I should go slower?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  8 дней назад +2

      Yes go slower. These are really powerful. Too much and your nervous system pushes back
