I work with an amazing PT who has totally changed my body, my movement, all of it. I was soooo screwed up it ain’t even funny. That said, for me your content is a fantastic supplement (can’t be seeing him all the time) and ALWAYS provides something new and useful to work with. Sincere thanks to you. 🙏
OMG, I'm a very self-aware movement instructor, and you just "hit" on a great body "blind spot" of mine... I used to have TMJ pain, but I managed to do exercises to release and get rid of this tension, but I still carry some tension in my neck. I worked on my tongue positioning (also while sleeping using mouth taping) and I've seen great improvement. I love your explanations and exercises! My tongue surprised me and my jaw even more, when I tried to move one without the other 😂 I realize I have still much work to do... ❤ Thank you so much 🙏
Have been doing the tongue circles; the addition of this exercise really kicks it up a few knotches! I couldn't believe how how many areas got maxed out- almost painful! - speaking from someone who had whiplash, tmj, sleep apnea, continual neck issues for 50 yrs... I'm really looking forward to the changes this makes . Thank you MUCHLY!
Thank you very much for doing what you do, for sharing with all of us, and for the full information of each video. Your videos are everything we need on a daily basis. You are so real and sometimes I believe that you can see us and feel all our pain.
Luv Your Vidéo!!! Keep them coming 🔥🔥 Everyone is talking about the hot topic “about thumbpulling and thumbpushing the palate” Would luv to have to point of view Disclaimer: You might attract a lot of view with this subject
Just realised that the neck problems I have could be very well related to my tongue. My tongue is weak on both sides, my jaw wants to move with my tongue to help out. Had a herniated disk in my neck, got an artificial disk 10 years ago. Will surely start training my tongue!! ❤
I have been sucking my tongue since I was a tolder and automatically move my tongue to thst position....excited to help myself by changing its position
I thought you shared something about the jaw and lumbar pain a while ago, but I have not been able to find it again. Would you mind sharing which video that was? I am currently reading Anatomy Trains, your posts are full of synchronicity!! I really appreciate your videos! Thank you for sharing and helping in all that you do!
I realized recently that I have a tongue tie at 40 years old. Is there something else that should be done about it, or just doing these exercises can help. I do have a lot neck, back and TMJ issues. Wondering if that could be partly because of it. Thanks for all your videos!
Welcome. These will not fix a tongue tie. These will help the nerve to the tongue and some of the things we mentioned in the video. Tongue tie always causes compensations elsewhere. We recommend surgical snipping of the tie. Consult a specialist to get their opinion.
Ive done the tongue circles 10 each side for a few days. My tongue burns pretty good afterwards. Feel like it might be contributing to the neck/ headache I feel today. Maybe I should go slower?
Hello. Unfortunately, there is no Turkish in the automatic translation of your videos, I cannot understand. I would be happy if you could fix this issue. Thank you..
That is a really good body awareness and feedback. That's telling you you really need to focus on the right side and pay attention to working the tongue

I have found most of my clients with LG toe issues, ditto with the tongue and jaw. This video is a great reference. Thank you.
Would those issues include fungus of the toenail specifically in that toe?
You're so welcome! Thank you for the kind comment
Thanks, Dr Perry. I just found your canal and now I will follow it 🎉🇸🇪

Hello loving your videos. Just need to know when I push on the side do I press the tongue back in?
Just press the tongue into the cheek and your fingers into the cheek. They press against each other.
I thought you shared something about the jaw and lumbar pain a while ago, but I have not been able to find it again.
Would you mind sharing which video that was?
I am currently reading Anatomy Trains, your posts are full of synchronicity!!

Probably discussed that in the Tongue Circle video which is linked in the video you just watched.
I am in Canada and I was wondering, what kind of doctor would I need to see who specializes in this?
Oromyofunctional therapist. You can google search for one near you.
Fascinating
I think so too. The body is just amazing

@@stopchasingpain Thank you for your reply!
Tysm
Very welcome
What do you do if your jaw moves when you do these? Just do them and eventually it will correct?
Yes correct it takes practice until your nervous system learns the pattern. It can take some time
Ive done the tongue circles 10 each side for a few days. My tongue burns pretty good afterwards. Feel like it might be contributing to the neck/ headache I feel today. Maybe I should go slower?
Yes go slower. These are really powerful. Too much and your nervous system pushes back
Where are you located? Maybe I’ll get lucky and am near you for an in-person session?
Saddle River, NJ
@ I’m on the east side of IN. Thank you!
