@@mikhial1296 No it isnt dude, the Nabooand Geonosis maps were completely different, different voice lines, animations, classes, weapons, character models, etc
I remember when I first discovered the Battlefront series, and this simple premise that you could actually be in the Star Wars movies and battles absolutely blew me away. Still does. :)
Trust me dude the Star wars battlefronts on psp were the best series 2 play the new version on ps4 sucks really bad as I'm a Pro gamer and still play games to this very day of my lifestyle :)
15 years later, this trailer gets me just as hard as it did when I was 7.

Yep 100% agree. I played the remakes for a good 50 hours or so. Meanwhile, I have 500 hours in Battlefront 2 (2005) and 200 hours in the first Battlefront (2004) and that's just on Steam. I played them for hours on console back when they first released.

I still remember when I first saw this. I almost literally crapped my pajamas in excitement out of the whole "live your favorite battles" advertisement. It definitely worked because I remember asking my dad non-stop to get me the game for Christmas or my birthday. Good times😌

When Battlefront used to be actually good. And guess what? No DLC. No microtransactions. No stupid pay to win. More maps. More weapons. More characters. RIP
Well not more weapons but everything else. Anyway why do we need all those weapons? Can you imagine 1 stormtrooper running around with hans blaster in the movies?
And NO stupid Sequel trilogy garbage.
Ah the good ole days. I feel bad for the people who haven't discovered the Saga and Legacy Edition's for Battlefront 2. Saga makes the game modern with tons of new units, vehicles, maps, and game modes. Legacy Edition turns the game into the original Battlefront III ground to space combat, campaign, and all.
I'm not a fan of the Saga Edition just because of how it doesn't play nice with Steam. I tend to use the Remaster Project with the Create Your Own Galactic Conquest mod. I've made campaigns with that which have taken me several weeks to finish. Basically endless replayability.

Anyone else find out about the battlefront series from a trailer In one of the Star Wars DVD’s played it when I was 4 and my mind was blown when I found out there was a second one when I went to my cousins to play it
Same thing happened to me. It was either the DVD of episode 2 or 3 that had the trailer for this game in the bonus content. It looked so sick I ended up picking it up as soon as I could. Definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

I'm so happy I grew up with both I and II. Sadly I think those memories may end in the next few years, my dads 20 y/o Playstation 2 is starting to feel its age. The disc thing works but it shakes a bit as it comes out and sometimes it goes back in before I can put anything in it. OFC the game is also for PC so I could get it on PC if I wanted too, but playing on PS2 brings back a fuck ton of memories when me and my dad would sit and play Galactic Conquest and Instant Action. I hope these games live on forever in the history of gaming.
It’s backwards compatible on Xbox Series. Also cheap to buy for online download. PlayStation is so far behind in this area.

@@Galaxius2117 I know but if you miss controller feel. I could never get used to PC. I too was used to playing on PS2. I just adapted to Xbox.
Back when games were good because the game creators focused on the Gameplay more then the graphics, and more then.. MONEY.

Can you imagine if battlefront 3 was only the sequel trilogy since the first one was original 2nd was mixed and the the new one sequel.

Still the only battlefront that I liked. The only thing bf2 added was space battles and a campaign. I hated played hero's and the lack of air battles on ground maps. I loved playing as a dropship pilot in bf1, dropping troops off behind enemy lines. I loved playing in a Ywing on those two maps and doing bombing runs on ground troops. You couldn't do that in bf2.
The hero's killed it for me in the rest of the bf series. Why does every game have to have a fucking lightsaber in it? I want to play as the average droid, trooper, or soldier in combat. Why is that so hard? Republic commando became on of my favorites because of this and why I'm so sad that 1313 got cancelled. Even in the jedi knight games I always used guns only. I'm so sick of the fucking lightsaber, star wars is more than just the lightsaber. It's become too iconic for its own good. All I want is a hero-less game with huge ground wars with hundreds of troopers,tanks, air transport, orbital strikes, playable bombing units, supply runs, etc . Basicly ww2 in space. All the tension goes away once you see fucking Yoda run past you and kill dozens, then die, then come back five minutes later and do it all again. Bf2 2017 came so close but had the fucking hero's, no bombing units and no air transport to move troops around, no usable artillery and no vast open fields to with tanks to fight it out.
That said I know I'm the only person who feels this way, and it would be extremely ridiculous to cater to one single guy. I can't get why people love the hero's so much.
I love them for their sleek design and abilities. But still, I love this game than any other Battlefront.
You are not the only one. I promise. I also preferred BF1 over the sequel! I thought it was more mature and the use of Jedis was overrated to me.

Only real flaws I had with this game are
1) you had to pause it to switch from 3rd person to 1st person
2) couldn’t actually play as the Jedi (luckily BF2 fixed this)
You can just press Q to toggle first person and third person, I hope that helps you.

The reason you couldn't play as a Jedi in this game is because this was intended to be a Star Wars game focused on playing as infantry. But after the devs heard feedback, they changed it in the sequel.

The old Star wars battlefront video games like revenge squadron elite squadron and battlefront 2 are the best star wars games ever the new Star wars battlefront 1 and 2 and Jedi order on ps4 are definitely the worse games ever played by EA sports 😒
