    I've been growing callisia repens for about ten years. I've noticed that when the leaves are biggest and healthiest, the leaves are actually green on the bottom. I grow it as a living mulch in potted plants.

      They grow so fast, mine is just several months old..

      @@desertSucculent27 Its a fast grower, but it can be fussy. I just grab a handful at a time and throw it on the ground in a good spot, and let it grow.

    I Have This And The Gold One Growing From 1982..OMG I Swear..I Tired Of Forget About This Plant But It Never Fails To Amaze Me..I Guess The Seeds Keep Growing..Its Beautiful Like Carpet..Im Obsessed With Succulents..I Got Them Growing Beautifully In Just A Week In Gutters..Unbelievable..

    Hi! Great video! I'm glad you said they're safe for pets because I had a pot full of cuttings to propagate and my bunnies ate them all! Also, what can you do when the top of the plant starts getting dry? The vines are healthy near the bottom.

    Turtle plants is not the same with tornado plants. Very educational simple vlog but teaches a lot to us. Wait for your nxt vlog.

      @@princessramonah21 , oxalis triangularis has rhizomes so even if an animal ate the leaves , it will still grow

      Just a month, mabilis sila dumami.. ung nasa smaller pot since nasa indoor siya, nagetiolate kaya it looks like ang bilis niya lumaki

      These are easy to propagate even in soil... No need.for water propa

      Yes they can tolerate temperatures around 10-15 and I guess pag air-conditioned room naman won't get that low... Make sure na nasa area pa din siya where it receives sunlight, maybe near sa window

      Tornado mas malalaki ung leaves niya and may red variety po yun...

    Kapag didiligan po ba need pa umabot sa draining holes yung tubig para sure moist or enough na po yung top layer lang soil ang babasain?

      Yes, it's best to fully soak them to make sure na all parts of the soil and their roots are covered

      Yes always fast draining is best... You can try compost and black soil as it retains moisture which is ideal for turtle vine

      Same lang but expect na it will etiolate once nasa indoors siya without enough sunlighy

      Moist soil dapat lagi, black soil + compost is a good combination for turtle vine

      Possible Environmental conditions... sometimes they lose their variegation to cope up with their present environment po..

      Yes pwede siya indoors, i have one sa bedroom malapit sa window para may morning sun... Just dont water nalang muna for the next coning days although very low maintenance lang naman siya

    Question: pag di na po purplish yung underside ng turtle vine, ano pong kulang nya? Sunlight, water, soil nutrients? Green na kasi both sides of the leaves.

      Green both sides means ung sunlight and ung soil ang problem..kasi dapat purple and green siya... But we also have a plant called evergreen turtle vine na green lang talaga siya ( bigger leaves)

      They grow really quick, the one in the video is totally different now, times 5 at least of its size now..😁😁 1-2 months would be enough

      It could be a fungal infection, but if you mean ung tiny dots sa leaves nila then it's just how their leaves look like
