a much easier method of propagation, simply take a hand full of the plant and cut with a scissors, every inch and sprinkle cuttings over pot of loose potting soil, shuffle to mix a little into dirt and pat down, then water thoroughly, and let in grow light. WILL burst forth with new growth in a fraction of time and effort. this is tested by me tried and true! Enjoy!
This was great! Exactly the info as well close up visuals of what I needed to rehab my turtle vine. I LOVE your music choices during the “fast forwarding”...😃
I find you have to keep the cuttings slightly moist until it grows out roots. Don't let it dry out too long. You should try again. Love these plants. 💚🌱
I just joined a tradescantias fb group few wks ago. Did u know some ppl have like 60 or 100 different varieties of tradescantias! 😲 I started saving mine a few yrs ago in jar of water indoors during winter. Then, would plant them in my outside planters during springtime. They are such fast growers & makes planters looks a amazing ( if u want a 'spiller' effect). 🙂
Love this, I have a Bolivian Jew from Steve’s leaves and she’s the tri color variety and she’s reverting . You gave given me the motivation to chop and prop🥰💚 Great end result🙌
Sandy I did some propping last night, trimmed lots of brown/dry leaves.🤞she’s going under my grow lights in my greenhouse now, let’s see if her pink comes back😊

Not sure why they revert so easily...But yeah they are extremely easy to propagate. You should give it a try.

Was it originally a pink one then?
Hi
How can you fix it up when you don't even know the name of the plant are you kidding?
