When to start pruning a Laurel hedge

- It’s important to start pruning the laurels a few months after being planted, and particularly those that grow straight and quite narrow as Darragh explains here in this demonstration.

Planted a hedge June 2021 from pots. all approx 2.5-3ft height now. some winter damage. should all hedge be pruned back to 2f come May 2022 to encourage growth

Some of my cherry laurels have went very thin at the bottoms and leaves are yellow and droopy how do I fix this? Some branches have no leaves left
