Where did you get that squaring jig that you used for squaring the end of the silver with the file? I’m trying to get one and can’t find one. Thank you for any advice and pointing me in the right direction.
I love your videos, I just started making jewelry. Wish I found them earlier would of saved some money but I'll be saving in the future. Your giving me so many ideas, but now I need to order more material lol. Keep the videos coming your an awesome teacher. :)
I use both thin and thick and the ones that I have been using in my video are from a local store but when I'm out (That should be very soon) I will be getting the ones on amazon amzn.to/2LDvuvb amzn.to/2XvaopW amzn.to/2JEyhC3
Thanks 😊. As for tips for a beginner, don't buy the most expensive tools or materials when you start. That way of you mess up and ruin something it's not a big loss. Also never use electrical or plumbing solder, get the kind meant for jewelry.
Hi there, this is a very interesting video tutorial. I have a question regarding the machine that you are using with the lathe. What's the name of it In minute 27:00? Thanks! That ring came out very beautiful
You can use the skinny one but you have to make sure to make the ring a little bigger to make up for everything. So if I make a size ten using the skinny sizer I would make sure the thinker band goes about halfway pasted the ten marking.

Great video, thanks for sharing your new methods and ideas. Now i need to price out a lthe, damnit!
No problem 😊 and look on craigslist and other locations selling sights and you might be able to find one for cheaper. This one was about $400.
Which glue did you use, the thin or thick one? I noticed what you used is different brand than amazon one. Also which accelerator are you using?

Great job on the video Randy, I would think that a diamond tip file would cut the material down and use water with it.
Yeah I think the diamond file would work, u need to get some haha.
Great vid Randy! I believe Mokume Gane Japanese for the "marrying" of 2 or more metals is pronounced Mocoomee Gahnee.
Well thank you and thanks for that info. 😁👍
How does shipping work when ordering from Canada, do you have to declare it for Tariffs?
I have no idea
Keep up the great content my guy. Any tips for a beginner?
Thanks 😊.

What's the difference with wet sanding
It helps keep dust down and the materials building up on the sand paper.

Thank you and I think you are talking about the part that I used to cut the ring on the lathe. This is part of the lathe, it's all one machine. 😁👍
@@GomeowCreations , what type of lathe is it? I can't see it on your shopping list. I am sure it might be very expensive
@@ingridsaab5413 Here is a link to one that is similar to the one that I have amzn.to/2OfQp6O I also added it to my list =)
Love ringsupplies.com. And your videos.
Thanks 😁
Welp. That explains why my thick rings never fit. Been using a skinny ring sizer.
