Beautifully done! I've been watching you on qvc for years. You're the king of the green thumb! 🌴❣💫
Thanks Lizzie!!
Hi Devin . This geranium looks so beautiful . Have anice day .
Thank you! You too!
Gonna head out and do some shearing today…great video👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome!
Great video!!! Thank you 🙏
You are so welcome!
I plucked a quarter size cranesbill from the landscaping at my work. It was being stepped on and not growing well. Put it in my landscaping and it's growing so well. This spring I dug up all the off shoots that spread and planted in other flower beds.
Love that!!
Yes I love it too ,I did the same with a Pelargonium.my husband overlooked when he was plotting them up .
My favorite plant❤
:)
I needed this today
Happy to help!
I have these geraniums and love them! They bloom from summer right through frost.
Yesss
Hi! Thank you!! Mine comes back every year larger and more in zone 5b, 6a. Love them!
They’re such dependable plants!
I love this plant. It's called blushed turtle I believe. It flowers from late spring to autumn
I’ve never heard that name, love it
I’ve never heard that name, love it
Thank you
Absolutely!
Great info! I didn't know my plant was a hardy geranium. My neighbor gave it to me and called it something else, but it looks identical to what you have.
That is awesome!
Hi Devin. I'm in zone 4a~5b. Mine just nicely finished mounding and blooming like the little one you cut. I divided mine this spring to create a horseshoe and put black petunias in the center 🤩 I believe these are called Cranesbill ''New Hampshire Purple'' but often you'll see different pics for the same name. Good ole internet lol Thanks for sharing!
Ooooh sounds like an awesome combo you’ve created!!
@@plantvibrations tks ☺
My friends late partner was a qualified botanist, and the cranesbill was his favourite. My friend named his charity Geranium Trust, and we also grow hardy geraniums.
Love hearing you are keeping his memory alive
I know these grow well in Toronto, zone 4 but I'm going to plant them farther north. Hope they make it through the winter.
Give them a nice blanket of mulch
Thanks for this video. Was just looking at my Hardy Geraniums I purchased from Roberta’s this spring. They are looking great, but I have no blooms yet? Getting concerned!
They’re still babies, give them time! By years 2 and 3 you’ll be blown away. They’re working on their roots right now
Can you divide the clump further? Instead of dividing in half, take the clump and separate out large taproots to create individual flowers and transplant them?
just ensure each portion has some roots and top growth
Can dividing and transplanting be done in the fall or am I better to wait till spring?
Either time
Glad you did say of you want to seed . I like my to spread. I have a huge garden areas.
Yes let’s them go to seed!
a hori knife will be your best friend when dividing. I am surprised you dont dig up for dividing lol. I need to see that root system first.
Seeing where the top growth emanates from is sufficient for me!
Do you trim them in the spring or fall 610:30 Pm
Both
I have one that is being overtaken by sweet woodruff. I think I will move it.
I can see that happening, sweet woodruff is pretty aggressive sometimes
I’d love to know the species name of the hardy geraniums you’ve shown please! Especially the pink ones!
It is really lovely, right?! it is Geranium sanguineum var striatum
👍👍!
:)
What kind of alium do you have?
Globemaster and Gladiator!
So good we don't have them here
They’re lovely
Vous parlez trop vite, on ne comprends rien, et c’est mal filmé, on ne voit pas vos geste exacts. Vidéo inutile.
Pas de probleme.
