Pete... thank you for choosing this model as it helped me today. I was building Inceptors for the first time and when it came to the masks I thought it slips on the helmet so after 30 minutes I gave up on it only to find out I ruined the masks. I didn't want to use the helmets but then I remembered this video. I ordered 8mm balls and put them in the socket up front with some glue and it came out PERFECTLY. I attached the packs already and realizes I could have stuffed green stuff as filler behind the ball but I don't want to risk trying to pry the packs off. Again thank you pete...
It's worth mentioning that Space Marines and Sisters of Battle are the biggest users of power armor, it's still available to anyone who can afford the prices of the Adeptus Mechanicus. This looks like an up-armored void suit that might be used by a Rogue Trader's entourage of power armored mercenaries/followers.
Yeah, he was one of my main inspirations when I started my custom Primordial Sons chapter, and I always shave off the imperialis now. It just looks so clean without it.
Good thing you didn't make it blue. Would have been a StarCraft Marine. Using a ball bearing is an interesting and quick way to mass produce concept. A lot of your kitbashes use rare essential components of other kits that aren't easily mass produced for an army, so this is a refreshing change.
This one is bonkers good!!! Not entirely sure it really "fits" in with 40k SP asthetic but i dont care it can if you allow it to. These marines are just different and they look badass!! The dome helmet is the best part. Id paint the bolter casings black with the orange stripe personally to further break up the white.
This looks awesome. Kind of what I think the first “ space marines” would look like,That being something more like fallouts armoured suits for space exploration.
That rollbar looks like a super specific peice, using some wire and probably making a banding jig from some plasticard would probably be the better way to go about it
I have to say it… That does not look like a space marine anymore and I love it! It looks like a more generic Scifi soldier than a space marine and it just looks really cool! Votaan ish a little
Dang, I wanted to make a custom chapter called the Martian Ghouls, this exact color scheme. Except the lore is their chapter planet is ‘Proxima Mars’ which was named by the previous ruling body during dark age of technology. The planets were named after connection to the Sol system was thought lodt, and later renamed Proxima due to rediscovery during great crusade
Man, the bowl helmet works remarkably well on the heavy Marine armor. Really nice use of details, the whole model just comes together really nicely. :D
I don't really have any plans of doing conversions within my hobbying lifetime, but watching you do them and listen to you talk about how and why, where you sourced things from is super fascinating, keep up the good work!
Eerily similar to a custom chapter I've been toying with - specialised in void warfare, gravis armour heavy, white and gold colour scheme, called the Celestian Guard... That bubble helmet is giving me ideas though.
i was questioning the painting of the ball bearing, but some of that silver mirror finish came thru the paint in a more subtle way. very nice look with the amber lens effect it has now
I wonder what size bearing would be needed for each marine variant? Love the idea of a homebrew chapter done with a few more gold accents that I could use as an Imperial Fists or Salamanders chapter depending on my mood. "Moons haunted," energy.
I've been following your work for a couple of years now. However, for some reason this build is one of the most impressive. I just feels super fresh and very simple. I love it. GG, Pete!
This is just incredible, and also makes me want to start my own highly customized Space Marine chapter...even though I just dropped $$$ on a Leagues of Votann army this Christmas

RIP to using your magnetic cases and bases lol
Hears a chapter to a create, any one you like but one conditional. THEY MUST HAVE THE EQUILLET (I think that you speel it?)
Can you kitbash your own custom space marines, please.
Can you also make Jaghatai Khan as it would be cool to see what he could look like
I think we can all agree on something: We want more of the Space Cyclops! Such a cool concept.
I agree 100%. This concept is great in and out of 40K. Conversion parts for this theme will be the second kickstarter! 😂
Yes! I agree!!!
Absolutely not, this chapter doesn't fit in with 40k at all
@@reebonorton4175 cringe
@@reebonorton4175if we can have space elves and dwarves we can have space marines with cooler space suits
Sorry if you disagree
Man it’s always a pleasure to see people’s custom chapters be built and painted.
Very much gives off the vibes of a space marine chapter who's equipment was built by the Votann. Really unique look.
Honestly as a homebrew chapter goes the idea of a group of space marines working with the Votann to get and maintain their equipment could be neat.
It reminds me a lot of the Starcraft marines, which is never a bad thing. Love it!
It is a bad thing if it doesn't fit in with 40k's aesthetic
@@reebonorton4175 Except 40k's aesthetic is literally all over the place and has been absolutely gonzo since the 80s. So it's fine.
@@Xynth25 I looked up how Dark Angels used to have Native American themes.
@@reebonorton4175 Spoken like someone with very little imagination... 40K's aesthetic can be pretty much whatever you like, and deliberately so.

really puts the 'space' in space marine

This is the first time I've seen a space marine and thought "damn that's sick". Pete never ceases to amaze me.
Yeah I’m gonna call bullshit because there are some pretty sick vanilla space marine designs
It's all up to personality opinions, I just find space marines boring, I don't know why you are trying to turn this into something it's not.
@@definelogic4803 Bruzzah, how are you going to tell another man what their opinion on something is?
@@ZaZi-Zeta01 notice how it’s not telling him but calling him out on his statement

Wow I made a legion called the Cyclopian Guard for an AU of mine back when I was 15, it’s amazing how similar human naming themes can be.
I feel a Starcrafty flavor on this one, good work
By the numbers boys!
"You want a piece of me boy?!"
- Spice marines
"Give me something to shoot"
"Hell, its about damn time!" - Brother Sergeant Tychus Findlay
Man this is what primaris should've looked like from the get-go! Brutalistic design fitting a tech-adept like Cawl
I see a lot of good techniques that could be used to improve the Void Scions
Gotta steal the idea of a ball bearing head for my future underwater/lovecraftian TS army 👌🏻
This might be my favourite
I would love to see you hand at a Cyclopean Gaurd Apothecary Biologis, that model is begging for this kitbash from this fanmade chapter
I needed that bubble helmet for my own Iron Hands successor chapter!
I want to see Pete make a Space Marine **with** the Imperialis on his chest :)
Never going to happen lol
Wait, they're not just excessive mold lines?
Yeah, he was one of my main inspirations when I started my custom Primordial Sons chapter, and I always shave off the imperialis now. It just looks so clean without it.
@Alino- you clearly don't understand space marines then if you shave off all of the imperialis symbols on your marines
It's like if NASA made a space marine. I love it!
Real "SPACE" marine! I love it!
This gives me Starcraft Terran Marine Vibes, and I'm here for it
Love the ball Bering for a head
Good thing you didn't make it blue. Would have been a StarCraft Marine. Using a ball bearing is an interesting and quick way to mass produce concept. A lot of your kitbashes use rare essential components of other kits that aren't easily mass produced for an army, so this is a refreshing change.
Or red for the Terran Dominion. White could be the Moebius Company too, though.

This is so unique and beautiful. It kind of looks like what I would imagine a Votann Astartes would look like.
This could be a great reoccurring series!
That rollbar looks like a super specific peice, using some wire and probably making a banding jig from some plasticard would probably be the better way to go about it
I have to say it…
That does not look like a space marine anymore and I love it!
It looks like a more generic Scifi soldier than a space marine and it just looks really cool! Votaan ish a little
That is unbelievably cool!
Incredible result! I'd love to see a Dreadnought in this chapter's style!
This miniature would work in multiple settings in sci-fi and that's why it works so well. Such a neat idea and execution.
2:15 - Ahh, fantastikk. An 'andle for me boyz to grab while they wail on da humies wiv their choppas.
OOOOOOOH that looks vary cool
That’s so kick ass

Sounds awesome! Do it!
Yesssss
More of the Cyclopian Guard, please! You and Berserker have really stumbled onto something here!
gonna 100% roll with this idea if I get into doing marines. I love this cyclops!
Man, the bowl helmet works remarkably well on the heavy Marine armor. Really nice use of details, the whole model just comes together really nicely. :D
This is so cool! I immediately want to make one of my own :)
I have to say, I got really strong "For All Mankind" Vibes from this.
Cool design! Really reminds me of an astronaut suit,
That looks fucking sick! Nasa marines
That's bad ass!!
I love this so much. Great work.
That was really nice
*honestly a banging design as it mixes the power armour we’re use to with something abit more grounded in reality*
Damn, son. The Inquisition would like to speak with you.
Nicely done!
That looks so dope. I wanna try out that helmet style lol.

An angry Buzz Lightyear. Awesome 👌
Brilliant, that base works surprisingly well
Need more of these.
This is gorgeous work.
Damn that's cool
This gives me good StarCraft vibes
So good.
You should make a cyclopian guard dreadnaught
Very cool mini, great converting as ever, and that scheme is lovely, so suitable for it.
Nice!
This is a good one. I like it
Who's the mysterious chapter master of them? Quentin Beck? Looks great and really unique!
Absolutely love it. Great kitbash and good color choices.
Really cool! Remember me of the horror passage of space marine encountering a cosmonaute!
The Cyclopean Guard is very cool. It also reminds me of the Terren Marines in StarCraft.
This is inspired, dude. Props to you and your patron/subscriber. So cool.
i was questioning the painting of the ball bearing, but some of that silver mirror finish came thru the paint in a more subtle way. very nice look with the amber lens effect it has now
Cooler Terran marines.
What a fantastic conversion!
You should make a marine which is covered in all the cut away imperials symbols
Looking great.
Merry Christmas to you and everyone else!
Really really nkce idea, and great execution. Also love the base.
can never go wrong with NASApunk aesthetics imho
phenomenal work! very creative!
Okay this definitely my favorite conversion. Mine you i based my Raptors army off yours.
bringing back "space" in spacemarine
Wow, I love this conversion! I would absolutely be up for a warband developing this design a bit further.
perfect.
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Love the design, reminds me of the leagues of votann
That is super cool.
One of these with the shielded heavy bolter would look steam punk as.
I like this, love the space suit look

The bubble visor makes it very reminiscent of Star Craft.
Finally, we have come full circle.

Bellissimo!
Now I'm going to have to buy a bunch of ball bearings.... Appreciate all your hard work and just the creativity!!!!
Just wow mate !
A very tall squat.
Might be the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in 40k, I wanna make my admechs have a squad like this
I love this. It would also be a fantastic basis for some Legio Cybernetica robots.
" You wanna piece of me, boy?"
I can honestly say that custom chapter's power armor is arguably the most posable design for an IRL power armor.
I've been toying with the idea of heavier equipped captains/lords so this was quite informative!
Merry Christmas and equivalent to everyone and your loved ones.
This is just incredible, and also makes me want to start my own highly customized Space Marine chapter...even though I just dropped $$$ on a Leagues of Votann army this Christmas
