He does! I once heard that this was his way of reproducing flamenco singers' voices. He does it very clearly in the central part of El Albaicín from Iberia.
@@crescenzoverde-vlog What does "art music" even mean ? What would be the difference between mimicking/copying ideas and being inspired by a composer ?
@@crescenzoverde-vlog Jazz is considered to be art music and hasn't been a "popular music" anymore for decades. You have a very elitist point of view on the subject, much more than great composers like Gerschwin who can't really be classified as a classical or jazz composer, or even Ravel, who got inspired by jazz for his left hand concerto.
@@eifbkcn it is easy in the sense that everyone who plays piano could eventually learn it, given time. Iberia is difficult in the sense that most pianists could not hope to play it in their life times because it requires a prodigious degree of technical ability.
Albeniz really likes playing in unison 2 octaves apart. There are passages like that in *many* of his pieces.

Good observation. Sounds Arabian, too. Leftover for the Moorish occupation of Iberia. Got to love that music history.
Albéniz and the unique Alicia de Larrocha!. Thanks for posting this jewel!😉
Magnífica composición del maestro español e interpretación esmerada y resuelta. Una maravilla, vaya.
Great playing. So expressive and beautiful
Me encanta la música de Albeniz
JESÚS G. MAESTRO.
Estoy aquí por lo mismo
Maestro es un MAESTRO.
¿Quién es Jesús G.?
What a lovely little piece
So beautiful- I just start learning it. Difficult but feasible

I love everything Spanish 🌹💖❤️
Eso es porque sientes la música igual que un español y por lo tanto tienes alma española.
Grande Albéniz!
@SuperMinimozart Así es.
Lindo. Delícia ouvir essas espetaculares performances!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎹🎵🎶🎹🎵🎶🎹🎵✨🎼
listening to the prelude, we note that Chick Corea is influenced by Albéniz!

Please, could you clarify which pieces Alicia de Larrocha plays and which pieces does Esteban Sanchez play? Thank You.
At least Malaguena is from a recording by de Larrocha.

…Albéniz RULES!…
So much better than Barenboim. Just no comparison at all. Marvelous!
Pas de comparaisons, svp! Nous n'arrivons pas à la cheville de ces grands artistes. Respect, admiration et reconnaissance!

COME TO BRAZIL!!!!!!
Le invito a que visite mi blog: vericuetosmusicalesyliterarios.blogspot.com en el que he dedicado algunas entradas al muy amado Isaac Albéniz
this song is hard to learn lmao
Its easy
Easy
I'm not even gonna try. I got notes from my teacher and my first reaction was NOPE, I CAN'T, ABSOLUTELY NOT
It's one of his easier works. Look up his Suite Iberia for some harder Albéniz
