- Here we are on the ground floor of an ambitious mountain bike park build located somewhere in the north metro MN. Just finished a massive berm and 15' Gap jump and I want to add some more features but need your help on what to implement next! Leave a comment below on what type of features get you fired up and what features you want to see at the DI station...

Looks like a fun jump. Reminds me of being a kid and building jumps on some vacant lots…lol.
Ride on 🤘
That’s exactly what this was like, except better bike and bigger jump yet older body and wiser brain…
That's cool. Nice start. I love a good berm. Gotta work on the jumps though.
Thanks Harry; Yea It definitely need more for the place to stay interesting. I’m not sure what I’ll do next. May just let it be and ride trails as they open and leave this for times that trails are closed.
So cool! Hope to be able to hit it sometime. First, need to learn how to jump 😀
Yea man, the endless pursuit of progression. We’re all in it together brother!
That's awesome!! Yeah that CG bikepark is a drive
Thanks Mike, so where do you like to ride?
Righton bro, last year was mostly Spirit mountain getting what's left out of my wrist and knee. Had the wrist done in October, still working on the knee issue so my season is still a few months away. Took the bike the other day and after loosing 3 of the 4 wrist bones( Primal row carpectomy) I've got some work to do!!
I'd like to check out that spot you got going, nice little spot.
@@minnkonamike6658 That sounds like a big operation, I hope that recovers well for you. I’ve been dealing with old injuries for the past couple years, messed up shoulder and a wrist. Likely just a mater of time before I have to undergo the knife again.
@@minnkonamike6658 Yea, I’m honestly not sure how much time I want to put into it now with the trails just about to open up. You think three months on the wrist and getting back on the bike?
Sick dude! You guys did good on that - looks fun! Always wanted to do some building. The Rob on Bikes family is moving soon here, getting a bigger yard, hope to have a little track within a year or so! 🤘
Awesome man, great news! Yea, it’s a load of fun riding something you made, takes me back to when I was a young buck building sketchy dirt and wood jumps.
Wish the weather cooperated when I was in the area and I could of rode here! Looks good so far with more potential features, that gap jump looks butter 🧈
Dude, you’d love this berm and gap! But yea need to add more and you need to stop by if you get back down here.
Good stuff, I like the hip into the berm.
Yea, since you saw it we cleared out all the deadwood and opened up that center zone and added that hip. I appreciated your help the other day.
that seems so fun, now i really want to get out and build something!
Haha, glad I could motivate you, let me know if you end up building anything..
Hell yeah. Some hidden & forbidden dirtcrafting by the tracks. Sick. I thought you were already calling it The Honeycomb Hideout?
Lol, Honeycomb Hideout😂 Are you gonna hit this with some dialed in coaching? Could make a sick vid out of it?
Gotta get the Spectral first followed by a heavy dose of confidence before I attempt a 15 footer
@@ElTerrible2011 For sure, good to work up to it. I think a Giants or Spirt journey is in order for this year. Some great spots to get your jumping game dialed.
Yeah dude! You wanna a job? Haha
Is this the start of a trail building series?
Seriously though looks fun and there’s some potential there for sure
Working on this stuff brings me back to when I was a young buck building and sending sketchy jumps on the BMX. It’s therapeutic at this level but I wonder how it would be on a grand scale. It’s incredible the stuff you guys build and I’d imagine there’s some real satisfaction in having a full trail come together. I’m really stoked to see what you guys did up at Giants Ridge, still haven’t hit any of that new stuff you guys built last year, I guess I have something to look forward to. Thanks for being rad brother!
@@Dialed1 it’s stressful
@@Dialed1 haha no it’s cool for sure. It’s awesome to see people enjoy something you helped build.
@@ridindirt No doubt, to answer your question, I thought about doing a build series but honestly unless I can get some good solid talent to help, I’ll prob just focus my energy into riding trail as things open. This place will scratch an itch when other spots are closed though. But yea man, stoked to get some days in with you this year.
@@Dialed1 definitely man! I’m working down in Galena Illinois which is across the river from Dubuque Iowa. If you wanna come down some weekend we could ride the proving grounds over there. I haven’t rode any of it yet. There’s sick terrain down here though
Nice one buddy, sick jumps🤙
Thanks brother, yea we’re doing what we can here in Minnesota to get by as the trails thaw out…
@@Dialed1 Good job buddy
Looks Rad! You'll have to keep making update videos as you add on!
Thanks my man, Yea definitely; I just don’t know if the excitement of this park will exceed the excitement of other trail centers as they open up, but we shall see. It needs a few more features and a few more hands on it to become a solid diverse track.
Great use of the space so far. As a pinballer (Dialed In is a Jersey Jack machine), i say name it Skill Shot.
Thanks, yea It’s been a bit of work so far, but it’s hitting really good, I’d like to add more to the loop and get it rode in so it becomes faster and really want to get some more interesting features on the trail such as some skinny’s and a drop perhaps. Love the name btw that’s in the running for sure along with DI Express someone mentioned.
Dude!! I’ve seen that pinball game and the work my man has put in to this space. That jump legit. Impressive design that flows naturally. How do you think he does it? IDK?!? What makes him so good?
@@joepuh1983 😂 Thanks dog! Let’s get after some 🌮 ‘s soon!
Where at? I wanna build!
Right on man, reach out on messenger.
Jeremy Broecker
Back in your patrol?
Yea, I still have this beast; It’s a truly awesome bike. It is for sale but there’s been no bites; Which is OK because I’ll probably use it for the Bike parks and heavier duty situations. I should actually send this gap with the SB130, I’m sure it would be plenty happy to do that one.
Gotta find the goods where you can.
So true, it’s crucial to get that fix.
Hell Yeah!
Just scratching the itch, 😂
Name it “D.I. Express”
I’m really loving this one! “D.I. Express”. I can’t believe this one didn’t cross my mind. So simple yet so brilliant.
@@Dialed1 Thanks, man. It makes sense to me. It came to me right away. The way you, (D.I.) fly down the trails and handle the gnarly terrain, such as the DM and BOB trails in Duluth, it made sense. Dialed In delivers the “Express” mail or should I say “Express” trail! 😎
@@Randy_Johnson Haha, I appreciate you looking out. Yea, those are some bruisers for trails (BOB and DM); I am excited to get up to Duluth again, but for now we have Battle Creek, which should be the first to open besides Xcel of course. Where do you usually ride?
@@Dialed1 I live in Superior, but I ride Duluth almost daily! The Piedmont Trails are my favorites. They won’t be open for quite some time. People are still cross country skiing on the Lester Park and Piedmont trails! I get down to the ‘Cities every once in a while, so I ride down there, too. I’m thinking Xcel and Battle Creek will be where I’ll go when I come down next time. I also ride Murphy quite a bit. I have family that lives one mile away from the Murphy trails.
@@Randy_Johnson Very cool, yea; Duluth is probably my favorite. It always keeps me on my toes riding DM, BOB, Kissing Booth and Stone Age.. the Lester/Hawks ridge is probably my favorite out and back, especially flying down one of the Amity trails. I’d guess Battle will be open very soon. And yea, Murphy is pretty fun too. Ever do Lebanon hills?
