The thing with Johnny K caught me especially off-guard. My buddy told me someone cool from GTA 4 came back and you could do heists with him, but didn't tell me who. I hadn't run into Packie yet, so when I saw Johnny K, I'm like "hell yeah Lost MC is back!" and then Trever stomped the life out of him in his very first non-prelude cutscene. Definitely made for a strong first impression of main-game Trevor.
Wow. Haven't seen you sad ever since Niko confronted Darko Brevic. Johnny and the Lost MC had a tragic DLC story. What's more tragic is the guys that Trevor chased and killed were Terry and Clay, the back up who assists you in TLAD.
Johnny and The Lost's deaths are pretty brutal but there's also an element of stark realism to this scenario. In the world of crime lives can be brutally cut short and happy endings are in short supply. We as players got very invested in the gang's story during the previous game but the way Trevor callously wipes them out without much effort or even a second thought just shows the changing nature of the criminal underground and how old organizations get squeezed out by new ones. The only way to survive is to break away from it completely (like Niko and Luis presumably did) but sadly Johnny stuck around for too long and got swallowed by it.
To make you feel a little bit better, Juliette after what happened to Johnny. Just Imagine that he didn't actually fully die, he just got "wasted" and respawned at the nearest hospital and went back to Liberty City and lived happily ever after.
Sadly, Johnny was the only one who it made sense for, he lost everything in the Lost and Damned storyline and he could never get over Ashley. At least it wasn't Niko or Luis but they wouldn't get addicted to drugs and Niko would also be able to kill Trevor since he's actually war-hardened and already has a very high body count.

Btw, you'll probably might want to replay some of the missions in the future, so I'm just letting you know something about this heist you've just completed: by choosing the loud approach, Michael will go to the Vangelico store in the van, with the rest of the crew. That will trigger some dialogues between Michael and them, Packie included, trying to know some more about them on their way to the store. I guess you'd be interested in those dialogues :) Great gameplay as usual, Juliette!
I definitely want to replay this again and choose the opposite way for the heists! I'm looking forward to hearing different dialogue and trying different things. That's going to be awesome 🙌
Killing Johnny was one of the worst decisions Rockstar ever made! Seeing everything he went through to stand up for himself, only to get back with Ashley, became a meth head and be killed like he was the most secondary character ever. I get that they wanted to make Trevor look menacing but cmon, this is just bad writing!
They wanted to make Trevor menacing by killing Johnny. Reason they chose Johnny cause he was least popular character. Imagine if they killed Niko, CJ or Tommy. There they wouldn't have been able to get away as easily. Also majority of current GTA players are 13 years old so they mo0st likely don't even know who Johnny i being DLC character. Still i hate Rockstar from my heart doing that. I even disliked Trevor for that. Trevor is entertaining sometimes but core of his character ugly and dislikable and thats propably what they wanted.
Man seeing Johnny getting addicted to crystal and killing him is still painful to watch :( specially after all he goes through in gta iv and moving the entire chapter from Liberty city to Los Santos just to be killed like that by Trevor!
The GTA 4 story was always about the deconstruction of the criminal lifestyle. The more you think about it, the more sense it makes that Johnny's story ended the way it did
True but it could've ended differently, Him getting hooked on meth is a shitty excuse when you take into consideration all the shit he's done, on top of the fact, why would he even be in Los Santos, let alone back with Ashley (He Broke off with her and could clearly see the impact Meth had on her life)
It wasn't just Johnny's death that angered me, it was how Rockstar retconned his entire character with no clear reason or explanation. Getting back with Ashley? Getting on drugs after seeing how it destroyed Billy, Brian, and tore his entire chapter apart? They even burnt down the clubhouse because they knew it was time to call it quits. Yet here they are in San Andreas back in a gang and high on meth? Pff. It's a shame, Rockstar could've done so much with them in this game, they had potential. Also, I felt as if I had been robbed of the chance of ever liking Trevor, I couldn't bring myself to even try and care about him after his introduction. Rant over

The think depression just got ahold of Johnny after he killed Billy, and the scattering of their chapter hit him hard. Johnny didn't have an Abigail and Jack to keep him sane when his outlaw gang broke up the way that John Marston did. He only had Ashley, and self-destruction. "The Lost And Damned" in many ways was mirrored in the two "Red Dead Redemption" games, and their protagonist's endings were both very different, and yet somehow similar.
I see your point, but people relapse in real life, and it's not a negative testament to their character. Addicts are not inferior simply because they can't overcome their addiction. I have personally known people who were anti-drug when they were young but then became users later in life. It's not a retcon, it's just life. People who are trapped in poverty sometimes make unwise decisions.
Not going to lie to you as someone who has family that are CONSTANTLY off and on drugs I never really cared about it because it just seems inevitable to me for an addict to relapse. My sister literally almost died yet she was back on heroin a week after she left the hospital 🤦🏻♀️
I still don't want to think that Johnny died. I like to think that he was put into a coma and probably had a plate implanted in his head and while it seems so unlikely, I also like to think that he's just recovering. The same however can't be said for Terry and Clay, unfortunately.

I know this is a somewhat old video, but GTA V has a screen effect for when you shoot someone and kill them. If you shoot Johnny after Trevor kicks his head, it displays this screen effect, implying that the game considers him to be alive.
Since I noticed you asking about the writers' decision to introduce Trevor in this manner, I'll offer my perception as someone who's been a GTA fan since literally the first one (the top-down arcade one). Trevor represents the player. He is what a person would have been if he acted like how most players act in open-world games. An NPC annoys you? You kill him, because you don't care, he's just an NPC, he means nothing to you. There is a shop to buy clothes? Buy the most ridiculous outfit possible, and then go on a murder spree while wearing it, because you're bored. That's who Trevor is, and it is accentuated even more through the Rampage missions. So, Trevor killing Johnny is a metaphor for Rockstar deconstructing the archetype of the noble criminal, the sympathetic murderer with a heart of gold. Rockstar wants you to face what it means to be a murderer. It is not noble or cool, it is gruesome and ugly. Trevor is so terrifying precisely because he is so unpredictable. He makes you feel like an NPC in _his_ game, where he can decide to kill you for fun at any moment, simply because he is bored or annoyed by your presence. PS: As for Johnny relapsing, I see it as an extension of the deconstruction. It's a reminder that such stories usually don't have a happy ending, and that the most likely scenario is that Johnny did go back to his old life.
Man, I absolutely love your thoughts behind Trevor's character. You are so right. The amount of times I've stomped on an innocent NPC just because is countless. And that's exactly what Trevor did here to Johnny. I never, ever, thought of it like that and I absolutely love it. Love it!! We are an NPC in Trevor's game... Gosh, I have no words. It really sucks how Rockstar treated Johnny. I remember 11 year old me playing this part when GTA first came out and even then I knew what a terrible decision that was.

I get that they wanted to make an example by killing off Johnny, but that decision really spat in the faces of GTA IV fans. I forgave Trevor eventually but I never really forgave Rockstar.
I hate how they decided to end Johnny, he made it very clear in a phone call to Angus after TLAD ends that he is done with Ashley. Also, The writers have mentioned that they were going to have Niko return and be a heist character, but the voice actor for Niko refused because Rockstar apparently don't pay their voice actors well. So why not have Johnny play the role that Niko would have played? But even worse imo is how Clay and Terry die. They were both war veterans, Clay mentions being at the Fall of Saigon, but they're just going to start up their bikes and slowly ride away while guns are being pointed at them, what did they think would happen?

Its kind of funny that in one of your GTA 4 playthroughs you said "I just love Trevor from gta 5" and you complimented his looks and all that lol Its honestly such a slap in the face for people who enjoyed TLAD and Johnny in general. I hadn't played any GTA games until earlier this year, so I didn't know Johnny. But the way Trevor killed him was so brutal and unnecessary, I thought I would hate Trevor as a character. Surprise, Trevor somehow managed to stomp his way into my heart and become my favorite! Great game, really enjoying your play-through.
Literally the only thing i dislike of Gta 5 is that they did Johhny and The Lost wrong, also that for some reason Franklin can't play tennis, they could atleast make it possible to play basketball like in San Andreas.

This is absolutely awesome gameplay, my friend 💜. I'm glad you'd be able to complete the heist and it was my best choice but the other one is cool but this you take is fascinating as you can see what I've told you before, you pick the perfect crews and look how much money everyone gets especially Michael, he has 1M dollar 💵 you'll get the money after playing back with Michael and Franklin again 👍. How real tremendous now that you finally get to play as Trevor with his attitude and actions 🔥 this game has probably a lot of explicit moments but sorry for you to see that but this game isn't really for kids 😬 but Johnny, we're very devastated what happened as we even knew who killed him 😔 my bet is that Trevor and Johnny were working together before his events but I guess we have no choice but to accept his death. I read one of the comments which I agree that Johnny's death was the worse decision, and I also remember commenting about the death of some protagonists in this series and I said hope that we won't lose another playable character 💯 I don't know how's Ashley now but my bet is she's dead as well as I looked up on GTA Wiki about her 😔. Talking about his trailer house, how messy it is as indeed 🗑️ I don't know when it started but I guess he doesn't know how to clean anything but his hands. You know, I let my mother show each of the protagonists safehouse and she likes Michael's and Franklin's, but Trevor, she has a negative comment. No mean to spoil but you'll soon see his house neat and clean. Sorry for about giving you a little spoiler but I guess this will be the last time to say it because I know you are avoiding that 🙂. About the part where you have to kill or spare Ortega, it seems that makes the game realistic which it's similar to GTA 4, but there can be consequences. I didn't expect you'd send those two strangers from that camp, I used to do that but how'd you learned that but I guess it's one of the people here gives you the tip. You know, if you found Packie and his buddy while playing as Trevor, you can send them to that camp but since you found them early, that won't happen to this gameplay progress but I'm glad it didn't happen as we knew we have nostalgic with him 💯. This is a tip, you'll find another crew members but she's a driver actually. You'll find her in the freeway behind Mt. Gordo as she got crashed in a car while it's burning. So just keep driving in there until you found her random event. Also, you need her soon because she's just like Packie 😁. One last thing. It is cool that you can't play as Michael and Franklin in the meantime because they're laying low after the heist 💯 I guess for now enjoy your time with Trevor Philips, the terrifying psychopath of San Andreas 🔥 oh yes just to let you know, because now that the Lost is his enemy, the Lost won't hesitate to kill Trevor when they see him so be careful where you ever go. Trevor's phone is based on a Windows phone, which I don't think is a thing anymore. Franklin's phone is like a Samsung Android phone, and Michael's is based on an iPhone. It's kinda cool they made each of their phones different, as I don't think anyone would care if they were all the same.
Really shows what Drugs do to you Johnny lost his gains Then lost his brains. Also shows that what having toxic people around you can do RIP Johnny. I really hated Trevor when I first played this But he ended up being one of my favourites. It feels like Vito and Joe killing Tommy. I remember when Last of us 2 was leaked someone said Joel got the Johnny treatment.
I try and rationalise Johnny's death in my head by thinking of his flaws as a character. First reason being the fact that he was so attached to Ashley - when you think about it, no other GTA character in the series was ever obsessed over anyone ranging from Claude, Tommy, CJ, Niko, Luis, Franklin, Trevor or even Michael who is married. He knew she was bad news and said it himself, but fell for her anyway. That, and the fact that he betrays Ray Boccino in his story (for no reason) gets his best friend Jim killed. Had Jim stayed alive, I don't think he would have ended up in this drugged up state. Amazing playthrough as always.

Your reaction to Johnny's death was what I was waiting for! Lol that's literally how we all felt at first, but later on in the game, I had newfound respect for Trevor and realized Johnny was kind of a deadbeat.
Good heist run through, the amount of times I crashed as Franklin when I first played through. Make sure to continue with Ricky and Packie and to look for the third heist character after Minor Turbulence.
@@xJuliettex They get better with each job you do with them. The next time you need a hacker (which won't be until the penultimate heist) Rickie will do a better job. Use him again there and in the final heist he'll preform better than Paige. I think the small cut makes it worth the smaller time limit in that first heist.
They did Johnny so dirty in this game. I played this before the episodes of Liberty City (stand alone versions of the dlc) and did think much of it at first but now it makes me sad
I once saw this guy play Trevor's first mission and refused to kill Terry and Clay they became part of the shootout and he just avoided killing them and used travors ability to avoid getting killed by them untill he killed all the other ones and let Terry and Clay run offit was kinda funny

Ashey, according to the game, threatens in Ron's Lifeinvader that they (Trevor, Ron and Wade) would pay for Johnny's death but this is nothing more than a threat, as according to the game's news she committed suicide by drug overdose a few days after Johnny's death.

The thing with Johnny is akin to Glenn & Negan, and to another extent, Joel & Abby. With the latter, it was a min character (Johnny being the main character of his own DLC notwithstanding).
I definitely felt your pain when Trevor killed Johnny..... definitely didn't agree the way they killed him off. Hope this isn't a spoiler just advice I would highly recommend doing the assassination missions for Lester and Episilon missions for much later in the game. Juliette this has been such an amazing series take your time we are all enjoying it 😄

Last Halloween they did an even where you had to find ghosts and the last one was Johnny K but instead of treating him like a random NPC, they played a slow sad version of The Lost and the Damned theme to show they hadn’t forgotten who he was.
I remember this reviewer dude once talking about Johnny's death, saying something like: "there's people that really hated this whole thing, and while I recognize that they wasted a lot of potential with this characters, I think this is Rockstar's way of telling us how all criminals ends up serving their punishments and how they, basically, don't give a shit about their characters, so its better not to get attached" and I totally agree, without counting Niko, most of the characters couldnt even get out of that horrible lifestyle, some of them just embraced it, which is something that most probably would sooner or later get them killed. So basically, if you see a character made by Rockstar, dont get attach to it, cuz if you do, you clearly didnt get the game's message.
Well, while Rickie the hacker may not have had the best start to his criminal life the good thing is his skills have gone up and improved but his paycut still stays the same- Making him a great choice for your next heist! And about Johnny... Yes, I too disagree with what Rockstar did but at the same time it's a dark if somewhat sadly realistic scenario. Sure, at the end of TLAD Johnny may have got revenge on Billy, but at the same time the Lost are leaderless, the clubhouse is gone and Johnny loses his best friend as Jim gets killed by Niko. So Johnny, Ashley and the remaning LC Lost crew move to San Andreas to join up with a lost group over their. Presumbly with all that's gone on understanble Johnny is more depressed then ever and Ashley turns him on meth, turning him in a shadow of his former sef.. And then to top it all off Ashley goes and cheats on him, and gets caught doing so and this leads to his death. So uh, all Ashleys fault really. Anyone to blame it's her- Had she not got him hooked onto Meth and cheated on him chances are he would still be alive
Hey, Juliette, I don't how far along are you in the game, but if you head through the highway where that tunnel is located on one side of the road (towards Paleto Bay), you can find a random encounter with a potential Heist Crew Member called Taliana. She's the best driver of the crew members and her cut is small AF. She's good and cheap. IDK if you already got her in a future video, but if you didn't make sure you do. She's very useful!

Killing Johnny was one of the worst decisions Rockstar ever made! Seeing everything he went through to stand up for himself, only to get back with Ashley, became a meth head and be killed like he was the most secondary character ever. I get that they wanted to make Trevor look menacing but cmon, this is just bad writing!

They wanted to make Trevor menacing by killing Johnny. Reason they chose Johnny cause he was least popular character. Imagine if they killed Niko, CJ or Tommy. There they wouldn't have been able to get away as easily. Also majority of current GTA players are 13 years old so they mo0st likely don't even know who Johnny i being DLC character.
Still i hate Rockstar from my heart doing that. I even disliked Trevor for that. Trevor is entertaining sometimes but core of his character ugly and dislikable and thats propably what they wanted.

The GTA 4 story was always about the deconstruction of the criminal lifestyle. The more you think about it, the more sense it makes that Johnny's story ended the way it did
True but it could've ended differently, Him getting hooked on meth is a shitty excuse when you take into consideration all the shit he's done, on top of the fact, why would he even be in Los Santos, let alone back with Ashley (He Broke off with her and could clearly see the impact Meth had on her life)
It wasn't just Johnny's death that angered me, it was how Rockstar retconned his entire character with no clear reason or explanation. Getting back with Ashley? Getting on drugs after seeing how it destroyed Billy, Brian, and tore his entire chapter apart? They even burnt down the clubhouse because they knew it was time to call it quits. Yet here they are in San Andreas back in a gang and high on meth? Pff. It's a shame, Rockstar could've done so much with them in this game, they had potential. Also, I felt as if I had been robbed of the chance of ever liking Trevor, I couldn't bring myself to even try and care about him after his introduction. Rant over

True. It was Joel threatment way before it happened. Perhaps it was simply a compliment towards people who disliked TLAD DLC.
The think depression just got ahold of Johnny after he killed Billy, and the scattering of their chapter hit him hard. Johnny didn't have an Abigail and Jack to keep him sane when his outlaw gang broke up the way that John Marston did. He only had Ashley, and self-destruction. "The Lost And Damned" in many ways was mirrored in the two "Red Dead Redemption" games, and their protagonist's endings were both very different, and yet somehow similar.
I see your point, but people relapse in real life, and it's not a negative testament to their character. Addicts are not inferior simply because they can't overcome their addiction. I have personally known people who were anti-drug when they were young but then became users later in life. It's not a retcon, it's just life. People who are trapped in poverty sometimes make unwise decisions.
Not going to lie to you as someone who has family that are CONSTANTLY off and on drugs I never really cared about it because it just seems inevitable to me for an addict to relapse. My sister literally almost died yet she was back on heroin a week after she left the hospital 🤦🏻♀️
I still don't want to think that Johnny died. I like to think that he was put into a coma and probably had a plate implanted in his head and while it seems so unlikely, I also like to think that he's just recovering. The same however can't be said for Terry and Clay, unfortunately.

I know this is a somewhat old video, but GTA V has a screen effect for when you shoot someone and kill them. If you shoot Johnny after Trevor kicks his head, it displays this screen effect, implying that the game considers him to be alive.

Since I noticed you asking about the writers' decision to introduce Trevor in this manner, I'll offer my perception as someone who's been a GTA fan since literally the first one (the top-down arcade one). Trevor represents the player. He is what a person would have been if he acted like how most players act in open-world games. An NPC annoys you? You kill him, because you don't care, he's just an NPC, he means nothing to you. There is a shop to buy clothes? Buy the most ridiculous outfit possible, and then go on a murder spree while wearing it, because you're bored. That's who Trevor is, and it is accentuated even more through the Rampage missions. So, Trevor killing Johnny is a metaphor for Rockstar deconstructing the archetype of the noble criminal, the sympathetic murderer with a heart of gold. Rockstar wants you to face what it means to be a murderer. It is not noble or cool, it is gruesome and ugly. Trevor is so terrifying precisely because he is so unpredictable. He makes you feel like an NPC in _his_ game, where he can decide to kill you for fun at any moment, simply because he is bored or annoyed by your presence.
PS: As for Johnny relapsing, I see it as an extension of the deconstruction. It's a reminder that such stories usually don't have a happy ending, and that the most likely scenario is that Johnny did go back to his old life.
Man, I absolutely love your thoughts behind Trevor's character. You are so right. The amount of times I've stomped on an innocent NPC just because is countless. And that's exactly what Trevor did here to Johnny. I never, ever, thought of it like that and I absolutely love it. Love it!!

I hate how they decided to end Johnny, he made it very clear in a phone call to Angus after TLAD ends that he is done with Ashley.
Also, The writers have mentioned that they were going to have Niko return and be a heist character, but the voice actor for Niko refused because Rockstar apparently don't pay their voice actors well. So why not have Johnny play the role that Niko would have played?
But even worse imo is how Clay and Terry die. They were both war veterans, Clay mentions being at the Fall of Saigon, but they're just going to start up their bikes and slowly ride away while guns are being pointed at them, what did they think would happen?

Its kind of funny that in one of your GTA 4 playthroughs you said "I just love Trevor from gta 5" and you complimented his looks and all that lol Its honestly such a slap in the face for people who enjoyed TLAD and Johnny in general. Its one of the things in this story that I just don't understand why they did because it serves no point other than pissing people off who played the previous game.

I hadn't played any GTA games until earlier this year, so I didn't know Johnny. But the way Trevor killed him was so brutal and unnecessary, I thought I would hate Trevor as a character. Surprise, Trevor somehow managed to stomp his way into my heart and become my favorite! Great game, really enjoying your play-through.

Literally the only thing i dislike of Gta 5 is that they did Johhny and The Lost wrong, also that for some reason Franklin can't play tennis, they could atleast make it possible to play basketball like in San Andreas.

I'm glad you'd be able to complete the heist and it was my best choice but the other one is cool but this you take is fascinating as you can see what I've told you before, you pick the perfect crews and look how much money everyone gets especially Michael, he has 1M dollar 💵 you'll get the money after playing back with Michael and Franklin again 👍.
How real tremendous now that you finally get to play as Trevor with his attitude and actions 🔥 this game has probably a lot of explicit moments but sorry for you to see that but this game isn't really for kids 😬 but Johnny, we're very devastated what happened as we even knew who killed him 😔 my bet is that Trevor and Johnny were working together before his events but I guess we have no choice but to accept his death. I read one of the comments which I agree that Johnny's death was the worse decision, and I also remember commenting about the death of some protagonists in this series and I said hope that we won't lose another playable character 💯 I don't know how's Ashley now but my bet is she's dead as well as I looked up on GTA Wiki about her 😔.
Talking about his trailer house, how messy it is as indeed 🗑️ I don't know when it started but I guess he doesn't know how to clean anything but his hands. You know, I let my mother show each of the protagonists safehouse and she likes Michael's and Franklin's, but Trevor, she has a negative comment. No mean to spoil but you'll soon see his house neat and clean. Sorry for about giving you a little spoiler but I guess this will be the last time to say it because I know you are avoiding that 🙂.
About the part where you have to kill or spare Ortega, it seems that makes the game realistic which it's similar to GTA 4, but there can be consequences.
I didn't expect you'd send those two strangers from that camp, I used to do that but how'd you learned that but I guess it's one of the people here gives you the tip. You know, if you found Packie and his buddy while playing as Trevor, you can send them to that camp but since you found them early, that won't happen to this gameplay progress but I'm glad it didn't happen as we knew we have nostalgic with him 💯.
This is a tip, you'll find another crew members but she's a driver actually. You'll find her in the freeway behind Mt. Gordo as she got crashed in a car while it's burning. So just keep driving in there until you found her random event. Also, you need her soon because she's just like Packie 😁.
One last thing. It is cool that you can't play as Michael and Franklin in the meantime because they're laying low after the heist 💯 I guess for now enjoy your time with Trevor Philips, the terrifying psychopath of San Andreas 🔥 oh yes just to let you know, because now that the Lost is his enemy, the Lost won't hesitate to kill Trevor when they see him so be careful where you ever go.

Trevor's phone is based on a Windows phone, which I don't think is a thing anymore. Franklin's phone is like a Samsung Android phone, and Michael's is based on an iPhone. It's kinda cool they made each of their phones different, as I don't think anyone would care if they were all the same.

Really shows what Drugs do to you Johnny lost his gains Then lost his brains. Also shows that what having toxic people around you can do RIP Johnny. I really hated Trevor when I first played this But he ended up being one of my favourites. It feels like Vito and Joe killing Tommy. I remember when Last of us 2 was leaked someone said Joel got the Johnny treatment.
I try and rationalise Johnny's death in my head by thinking of his flaws as a character. First reason being the fact that he was so attached to Ashley - when you think about it, no other GTA character in the series was ever obsessed over anyone ranging from Claude, Tommy, CJ, Niko, Luis, Franklin, Trevor or even Michael who is married. He knew she was bad news and said it himself, but fell for her anyway. That, and the fact that he betrays Ray Boccino in his story (for no reason) gets his best friend Jim killed. Had Jim stayed alive, I don't think he would have ended up in this drugged up state. Amazing playthrough as always.

Good heist run through, the amount of times I crashed as Franklin when I first played through. Make sure to continue with Ricky and Packie and to look for the third heist character after Minor Turbulence.

@@xJuliettex They get better with each job you do with them. The next time you need a hacker (which won't be until the penultimate heist) Rickie will do a better job. Use him again there and in the final heist he'll preform better than Paige. I think the small cut makes it worth the smaller time limit in that first heist.

I once saw this guy play Trevor's first mission and refused to kill Terry and Clay they became part of the shootout and he just avoided killing them and used travors ability to avoid getting killed by them untill he killed all the other ones and let Terry and Clay run offit was kinda funny

Ashey, according to the game, threatens in Ron's Lifeinvader that they (Trevor, Ron and Wade) would pay for Johnny's death but this is nothing more than a threat, as according to the game's news she committed suicide by drug overdose a few days after Johnny's death.

Honestly, after Trevor killed Johnny, I didn’t care so much because it was his own and Ashley’s fault for his death. Johnny should’ve never came back to Ashley. As for Niko, I hope he’s still alive somewhere around Liberty City or Los Santos.
The thing with Johnny is akin to Glenn & Negan, and to another extent, Joel & Abby. With the latter, it was a min character (Johnny being the main character of his own DLC notwithstanding).
I definitely felt your pain when Trevor killed Johnny..... definitely didn't agree the way they killed him off. Hope this isn't a spoiler just advice I would highly recommend doing the assassination missions for Lester and Episilon missions for much later in the game. Juliette this has been such an amazing series take your time we are all enjoying it 😄

This line from Johnny breaks my heart because is shows that he never recovered from what happened in Liberty City, he blames himself from everything bad that ever happened to him and most importantly, he hasn't forgiven himself for what happened to JIm...
It's sad when people haven't played GTA 4 and don't know Johnny... they just don't care about what happens to him 😭
@@xJuliettex Whoever is running GTA Online does seem to care though. Last Halloween they did an even where you had to find ghosts and the last one was Johnny K but instead of treating him like a random NPC, they played a slow sad version of The Lost and the Damned theme to show they hadn’t forgotten who he was.
I remember this reviewer dude once talking about Johnny's death, saying something like: "there's people that really hated this whole thing, and while I recognize that they wasted a lot of potential with this characters, I think this is Rockstar's way of telling us how all criminals ends up serving their punishments and how they, basically, don't give a shit about their characters, so its better not to get attached" and I totally agree, without counting Niko, most of the characters couldnt even get out of that horrible lifestyle, some of them just embraced it, which is something that most probably would sooner or later get them killed.
So basically, if you see a character made by Rockstar, dont get attach to it, cuz if you do, you clearly didnt get the game's message.
Well, while Rickie the hacker may not have had the best start to his criminal life the good thing is his skills have gone up and improved but his paycut still stays the same- Making him a great choice for your next heist! And about Johnny... Yes, I too disagree with what Rockstar did but at the same time it's a dark if somewhat sadly realistic scenario. Sure, at the end of TLAD Johnny may have got revenge on Billy, but at the same time the Lost are leaderless, the clubhouse is gone and Johnny loses his best friend as Jim gets killed by Niko. So Johnny, Ashley and the remaning LC Lost crew move to San Andreas to join up with a lost group over their. Presumbly with all that's gone on understanble Johnny is more depressed then ever and Ashley turns him on meth, turning him in a shadow of his former sef.. And then to top it all off Ashley goes and cheats on him, and gets caught doing so and this leads to his death. So uh, all Ashleys fault really. Anyone to blame it's her- Had she not got him hooked onto Meth and cheated on him chances are he would still be alive
All three of the boys have issues that are incredibly hard to deal with. We love em tho.
34:44 and that the game has like 1000 checkpoints wich kinda kills the risk of not playing carefully execpt when doing the secondary objetives xD
Hey, Juliette, I don't how far along are you in the game, but if you head through the highway where that tunnel is located on one side of the road (towards Paleto Bay), you can find a random encounter with a potential Heist Crew Member called Taliana. She's the best driver of the crew members and her cut is small AF. She's good and cheap. IDK if you already got her in a future video, but if you didn't make sure you do. She's very useful!
I was hoping she'd find Taliana along the course that she had set at the end of this episodes. I guess we'll find out soon.
