When I first heard about Voces8, I wondered whether or not we needed yet another a cappella group. This performance answers my question with a resounding yes. I particularly liked the dynamic shadings.
Voces8 blows their "competition" out of the water! I could listen to them all day, every day, for the rest of my life and never cease to be amazed by their perfection.
Geoff lloyd I think the first time I heard it was on a Celtic album. Very different version, but also glorious. That was about two decades ago (I’m old).
I sing first tenor in a local chamber choir; I actually find it very difficult to sing that particular passage because the chord progression gets me over-emotional (!)
AMAZING!!! Listening to them puts me in another world. Its a high hearing all the voices.
My God, she is beautiful.

Firstly: who are *you?. Secondly: who is "we"?
They're not just an acapella group; they're astounding, classically trained musicians.

Does anyone know where to find the sheet music for this arrangement?
0:43 into 0:53 --- ohhhhhh, I did not see this coming. How very fine.

Beautiful but just a wee bit channeled, ie, studio worked.Pity, I'm sure they don't need it.
Very nice, but Britten's is better
Sounds good, but why the casual dress? The video would be a lot better if they dressed formally.
This is parody, right?
Bullshit. That's one fine looking soprano, no matter what she wears.
It's a rehearsal in their home rehearsal centre. A free video for us all to enjoy. So ENJOY.
What a disgrace to Benjamin Britten! awful no melody just monotone
Jose Luis Fuerte. I agree typical
Jose Luis Fuerte perhaps you'll have to get better speakers ;)
Simon Leitner i agree with Jose. horrible
It's nothing to do with Britten, pal.
