The problem with dc is that they jumped into their rich mythology right away, whereas marvel took a more gradual approach in introducing fantastical elements (with grounded characters like iron man & captain America).

For e.g, in the DC universe, Batman has historically gained more global interest than Superman. This is due to Batman's a human, which makes him relatable due to his flaws and complex character, as well as the fact that his villains are fellow humans, not extraterrestrials.
I love this movie before and the trailer for a new one looks good. I don't think this movie deserves that much hate just because of Amber. Everybody worked hard for this movie Jason Mamoa, James wan, crews, directors everyone. In short don't hate the movie, it hurts when you are Jason Momoa's Aquaman fan and you heard this.
