  • In this tutorial i show you my workflow to very quickly create a Unity level using 3D models created in Magicavoxel.
    This workflow can be used to quickly create all type of levels.
    It's perfect for a GameJam for exemple.
    If you have any question, feel free to ask them in the comment section !
    I hope you will like the vidéo and see you soon for another one ! ^^

    This is AWESOME, thank you so much! :) This inspires me to make a 3d game in Unity, something I haven't really attempted yet as I prefer 2d. Thanks again!

    for the ground and walls you could use ProBuilder with the correct textures assigned to it.

      @@voxelguy i loved it it helped me alot in my freelancing job. Just one question still have in mind why is it sooo small. Only 126 126 126 pixel space. What if someone wants to create big scene.

    • @voxelguy
      @voxelguy  5 лет назад +1

      @@usamazaheer4608 You can combine lot of 126x126 workspaces in "Worldmode" (Use tab to go in worldmode). This way you can make huge scenes. But yeah, they have to be cut into 126x126 workspaces.

    Hey do you know if glass/metal materials on Magica Voxel are compatible with Unity?

    • @voxelguy

      Hello, no i don't think they are compatible sry

  •  4 года назад +1

    Thank you!!! Your video made me remember me time back when I was creating my little game using unity and MagicaVoxel thank you for that, but I have a question for you, how many poligons do you have in your scene? I say that because, when we are using boxels, some faces isn't necessary that was created because some or they are hidden and I think that it's important in the optimization process. hello, do you have a good workflow for optimizing models made in MagicaVoxel for use in games? I find that MagicaVoxel makes very bad meshes that I wanna clean up in blender but when I want to use them in Unity, I'm having a hard time getting the materials working with the new universal render pipeline. Thanks for your help!
