- First appearance of Alice the tailor, although she will be not be named on-screen until Video #19 (Gossips at the Tailor Shop)

What a beautifully worded sentiment. I whole heartedly agree, I genuinely believe the ASMR community is the safest online space.
Throughout history lower classes have always found a way to entertain the rest of the lower class that separates us from the nobility (like kabuki in japan) and they were made because the lower class wasn’t respectable enough to attend theater for the “high arts” meant for the nobility. I believe RUclips is kind of the same thing and your comment reminded me of all those moments in history where THE PEOPLE found the best way to entertain the people. Instead of richies trying to figure out what to sell to us.

i really love how when lady anna is judging the sample colors that her eyes go from the swatches of fabric to our character’s face. like she’s really looking to see which color best compliments our complexion. it’s such a small detail but it just shows how much atmosphere cares about the quality of her videos ☺️

i wish i could play the button section on a loop! the delicate whispering (i’m not sure how else to describe it), the little twinkles of sound for the buttons and the accent just make it my favourite!
I love that the seamstress is wearing a doily as a hat and that she pulls it off, too..haha. This is art. I am always blown away by the sheer amount of time, thought, preparation, and hard work that must go into these incredible videos. I love the weird effect that overdubbing gives to these videos! It’s a little otherworldly, not eery really, but uncanny I guess, which gives it an elevated, dreamlike quality.

Tip learnt from drag queens: dry shampoo or talcum powder will dull the shine on synthetic wigs so it reads more like natural hair

Another tip is fabric softner provided the wig will stay together, so I would buy 2 of the same wig and experiment to see if it will keep together after soaking😊 hope this helps, from a cosplayer
