My subscription evaporated somehow so I wasn't getting reminders, and life went kinda bananas for the last few years - but for once 'the algorithm' suggested something wonderful and I've found Joelle again, YAY! And, like you say, I always love her content too. :-)

Oh wow…. This is slick. I’m going to try this. Thank you… 🤗 My mother spent hours on figuring a good way to add thread. Again this is slick.

Ooh, Joelle - how did I lose track of you? RUclips just reminded me so I've subscribed again and just have to say 'Hello - it's so wonderful to see you!' And I hope life is being kind to you, you sound great. Your work, of course, is just beautiful. I'm so happy you're still doing videos. Hugs from NZ... Megan

I love watching and learning to tatt with you! I've heard you mention in previous videos you have some wrist pain from crafting and I've just started getting some pain in my left ring finger and wrist when I tatt, I think it might be from improper tensioning as it flares up when I crochet as well and i tension with the left hand for both. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for how you deal with the pain or how to prevent it maybe through technique? thanks!!

Hello, thank you for your message. I don't remember wrist pain (did I really say that in a video?) but I am susceptible to tendonitis which usually strikes in my elbows! Unfortunately, I'm very sorry to say I've not found a way to prevent it apart from being aware of when I start to feel any mild pain and stop! I try to avoid any "marathon" (I'm prone to work on things for hours without stopping when I'm enthusiastic about a project) and try to chop and change often so that I don't keep repeating the same movements for too long at a time. Sorry not be able to offer anything more helpful than that.

Ok! no thats very good to know! I might've confused elbow with wrist hehe I will have to start paying closer attention to my hands :)

@@eilishpratt9504 Yes, I tried to read up as much as possible about it and there doesn't seem to be any miracle cure sadly but just trying to pay attention to how things feels and not pushing through pain if you have any but stop and take a break (or change your crafts often so you avoid too much repetitive movement for too long).
