I live in Wrexham but I’m not a Wrexham fan, however… is it SO difficult not to get swept up in all the excitement. The whole town is talking about the football club. The parents at school are talking about it, the people on the checkouts in Tesco are talking about it, the receptionist at the GP surgery is talking about it. The town is BUZZING!

I think this documentary and story will finally open up a 3rd promotion and relegation spot in the future. I also believe next season of WTW will be more focused on the entirety of the national league, which can only be a good thing
I agree! Just the race between Notts County and Wrexham has such high drama that they have to put that in the forefront. And I know the show is about Wrexham but putting a postscript or a tag about Notts County esp if they get their promotion too would be grand!
And don’t forget that Stockport (last years winners) finished near top of the table on their very 1st year. Many teams could compete on League 2 already
@@chriswhamilton Nah he did that in the first half after he conceded the free kick. He would have picked it up at the end of the first half along with the rest of his gear, and then set it up in the other goal before the start of the second half. I'm guessing it's more likely he just forgot to turn it on or the battery was dead and he didn't realize.
I’ve seen everything else, does anyone know where the ACTUAL GO PRO FOOTAGE IS of that penalty save, or was it too wide/out of shot, he was full stretch.
Although I cheer for Wrexham, that first goal, how could that be allowed? And the penalty save, the feet had left the goal line before the ball was struck. With luck like that, you know you will win the first place in the end. Go Wrexham!
I’m American. What does “the fans are a joke“ because across the pond it means like ridiculous… but in a bad way. Like we would say “the Cleveland Browns organization is a joke”
Fame is one thing, but time and place is another. There's a lot of joy to be had being around a team that has potential and is going up and just needed a bit of push and organization to start climbing the ranks - but what happens if, say, Wrexham goes up to League One or Championship levels and then just gets stuck there, the documentary seasons drop off in interest, the fans start demanding even more success but suddenly millions of pounds become dozens and hundreds of millions in costs, and suddenly the capitalist vultures start circling? Not saying it's inevitable or even that this is going to happen, just that circumstances will change and you never know people's reaction until you get there.
so different in south wales which has always been liverpool(mainly) or man utd the reason for that is if you follow football swansea and cardiff have for the most part been rubbish for decades apart from the odd spike by both clubs, football isnt in the hearts of south wales people.
Got to feel for Notts County, the oldest professional club in the world, played their hearts out this season with amazing support and they get beaten by a team with Hollywood backers who overpay wages and bring in a Premier league goalkeeper. I know that's just football and business but talking about how this transcends football? Bit worrying
really REALLY let me remind you that a) wages has nothing to do with the hard work these man doing on the pitch b) let be real the club was doing good before PL goalie joined them so stop with that bullshit mate fans like you make the club you cheer for look like idiots
It's not the fault of the billionaire owners it's Just the ball Is round and in the pitch can happen anything even if you have big payed players(you can see that in the Champions League, PSG and city spending very big Money they have not won a single cl Trophy..) instead i think they playoff should not happen if there is a gap of 14+ points from second and third Place
That's why we have a salary cap in American sports and drafts to even the playing field. There's so many professional football teams though so it would be hard to implement a draft and cap.
Equating Rob and Ryan with billionaire oil tycoons is a mistake. These two blokes pay out of their own pocket and if this fails, they would be ruined. They don't have unlimited pockets like Qatar or Saudi. We criticize Qatar and Saudi owners because they don't really care about their clubs. Rob and Ryan set a good example of what a good owner should be and still get criticized.
