Hela's story was SO good. Hela (and Cate Blanchett, for that matter) were tragically underutilized in Ragnarok, so it's nice to see her given more to do. And yeah, a redemption arc was in no way what I was expecting, but it was so well done. I would really love to see more of that Hela.
Did you not recognize the Loki Tree in the end. You just said "that's beautiful " but didn't acknowledge that it's the Tree from the Loki season 2 finale
1:14 Kahhori isn’t from the comics. She was created specifically for this show through a collaboration between the production team and members of the Mowahk nation. Some say the Sky World is essentially the Mohawk counterpart of Wakanda. Kahhori was voiced by Devery Jacobs best known for her role in the Hulu/FX show Reservation Dogs which ran for three seasons. Devery also portrayed a separate character in the upcoming Echo show. All five episodes will premiere next Tuesday. In the meantime, Marvel has released a sneak peek of What If season 3. Head writer Ashley Bradley said that the teased episode will be her last run at Marvel. Coincidentally the next season will also be the last one.
there is a small clip for season 3; it was an episode that was supposed to be in this season, but got pushed back like the Gamora episode. It’s Bucky & Alexei (Red Guardian) on some kind of road trip
i think God Loki Multiversal Tree is kinda the post credit scene which is gonna tie everything up together. also that green flaming monkey creature i believe variant of Thor that turned into Hulk with Gungnir Sword, that's why the face was hairy-beardy and thunders/lightning was green. also the season 3 is imminent and trailer was already out.
Honestly the only minor thing I wish was different in Season 2 was the finale felt like it could have been expanded to a 2- or 3- part episode all on its own. In fact a lot of the What If…? episodes are ones that could have made really cool full length films or multiple episodes, they’re really cramming a lot into these 30 minutes!
I love seeing the different combinations of characters that are brought together during this series. Who would've thought we would ever see Wenwu and Hela team up or Tony and Gamora? Love it!
So many high points in this season. In this half, Kahhori was so interesting and I hope she occurs in the MCU somehow. The season ending with Peggy looking at Yggdrasil does open a possibly of her meeting up with Loki God of Stories in Season 3 of Loki :)
I really liked the comic book storylines, and both seasons were very good, so I was happy to hear that there’s going to be a third season, too. I’m also really glad the story with Kahhori, and that they did as much as they could to make the Mohawk people as authentic as possible, since the Indigenous tribes don’t always get represented very well in the various media outlets.
This does is great because they do get the majority of the actual actors to do the voices. (Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbaxh, Hayley Atwell, etc.) Lake Bell does wonderful as Black Widow as does Josh Keaton as Steve Rogers and Mick Rickert as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Can't wait for season 3.
They released a fully produced scene from season three (maybe the same day the last episode was dropped). It is very exciting, and could be considered a little post-credit sequence.
Number six is spoken in Mohawk tribes of New york.. definitely the stand out character of the season, totally new character shes not even in comics yet...
Speaking of Marvel, there's more movies you need to know about that I recommend: Blade trilogy, Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher, Fantastic Four 1&2 & Ghost Rider 1&2 👌.
I would like to see Kahhori in live action. Still wondering how she learned English so fast. There is a clip of Season 3 with the Winter Soldier and Red Guardian.
She's a fast learner. She picked up Spanish quite quickly as well. It's implied she escaped Strange's capture, so there was definitely some time between the time Strange first found her and the time she broke out of his prison and went on the run in a nearby reality. Probably picked it up from her fellow captives or Strange himself.
My version of the Kahhori episode didn't have subtitles... (popcorn time). Strange, since they seem to be burned in (or it seems logical they would be).
Hey, Addie! I mostly enjoyed this season of "What If...?" and was so excited that they were going to adapt Neil Gaiman's "1602" but was terribly disappointed by this ridiculously abbreviated adaptation which reduces the mystery and complexity of one of Marvel's richest events to a single gimmick episode. They did the same thing to Robert Kirkman's "Marvel Zombies" last season which, in the comics, is a nightmarish and bleak story about an absolutely horrifying corner of the Marvel multiverse rather than the jokefest they made it into. Comic "1602" is a fascinating and trippy mystery in which spymaster Sir Nicholas Fury and his page, Peter Paquagh (Parker), try to unravel why the Age of Marvels is occurring 400 years early. Part of the fun is figuring out who's who and it's not always readily apparent with Magneto and Captain America being great surprises. The story involves X-Men persecuted as Witchbreed, the Fantastic Four known as sea-faring explorers aboard their vessel, the 'Fantastick', Daredevil as a blind troubadour, Black Widow, Doctor Doom and the first European born in the New World, the historical Virginia Dare. I highly recommend the source material to both series if you found yourself intrigued by either episode.
You really see, to be enjoying comic book movies as a genre. Should you ever want to expand on that horizon, I'd recommend you check out some of the pre MCU comic book movies based on independent comic books. You'll be in for quite a few pleasant surprises. These aren't stories by the big 2 (Marvel & DC) no shared universe, just a bunch of smaller stories from smaller publishers, but with a cult following from the around Eighties & Nineties (mostly 90s). I'm talking movies like Mystery Men, Tank Girl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hellboy, Kick-Ass, the Rocketeer, Sin City, Josie and the Pussycats, Judge Dredd, Heavy Metal, the Mask, Spawn, and a few more I'm sure I missed. There are enough of them to remind you that that comic book movies come in more than 2 flavors (Marvel & DC) If you count the Indy comic publishers, we got a Baskin-Robbins situation going on here.
Those are some great suggestions (I'd definitely add The Crow to that list too). There're also the movies that people don't realise are based on comic books, such as Road To Perdition, The Losers and Red, and then there're the movies that have a comic book style but aren't based on anything, such as Chronicle, Super, Brightburn and Hancock.
@@carlgibson285 I knew about RED, I did not know about the others, The Crow is great, But I thought she reacted to it for Halloween, or am I mistaken? Hello Addie, have you already watched the clone wars the animated serie? For me it's the best content that Star Wars has created, if you like Anakin character you will love this serie👌
Hey Addie, I have a request for a future movie reaction for you. That is if you haven’t seen it already. Why don’t you do a reaction to one of my favorite action movies from 1997 called Air Force One. If you liked Die Hard and Indiana Jones’ Harrison Ford, then you will probably like this one. Think of it as “Die Hard on a plane with Indiana Jones”. If you haven’t done it yet then I highly recommend doing it.
So I loved this season but hated the finale episode. It really needed 10 episodes instead on 9. That way we could've build up to Strange Supreme betrayal. The episode itself felt rushed and just and crowed action scene. Plus they made Captain Carter and Kahhori way to OP and some of it didn't make sense. Still even though I didn't like the last episode this was still a great season in my book
Didn't give a rats behind about Kahorri. Never seen her in the Marvel books so who cares? Is this her introduction? Why? Save it for their dismally selling comics.
You really thought that Kahhori was a villain? Even after what Strange did last season? I'm truly, utterly amazed at the amount of people who thought Strange was all good and could be trusted after the horrendous acts committed in season 1. Crazy.
As most will say, the "Just you watch" by the Watcher was showing Peggy Loki's world tree Yggdrasil from the end of Loki Season 2.

Kahhori is an original character created for the MCU, just like Phil Coulson and Darcy
Strange Supreme: Cross my heart

I wish they had a season 4. I was originally supposed to have 4 seasons but the fourth got axed
Love that the Kahhori episode was all subtitled.
absolutely loved this new character. I hope they do something with her and the Sky World in the main MCU.

Addie you did see Loki's tree at the end of what if
Did the tree look familiar to you? I think that is a direct clue to where season three is headed, so I'm very excited.
So in case you didn't realize the 1602 universe is the same as the one in the Christmas special (hence why they both have Hulk Happy Hogan)
Has that been confirmed? There could easily be more than one reality with a "Hulk" Hogan.
