Helpful tip, I'm 7 minutes in the video and you still havnt spurred the pad It just helps clean the pad from any debris or chuncky compoud. I clean my pad thru all products about ever y 5 minutes, If you dont have a spurr you can use a big flat head screw driver, it does the same thing.
yup another thing I did not know! thank you I have a spur on the way for cleaning but I had no idea I should do it that often. thank you. I did keep misting the pad with water before each panel which I think kept it fresh. And I found that it was much less aggressive being a little moist. Which generally cost me more time but made it much less likely to really screw it up. I have learned a lot in this cut and buff process. Thank you for watching!
@@LakeAndLodgeGarage Your welcome friend, Old school guys who do this for a living have a gallon of compound with chip brush in it. We smear it on the panel with a brush then go to town with it flying everywhere, we pressure wash the car after buffing to clean it. We use ketchup bottle for polish and we just squeeze and throw the polish on the car and go to town. We wear a apron just for buffing, it's a messy job. Your car looks amazing. Your welcome, Ive watched the project since you laid on color. Ive learned alot.
That color is looking so good in the sun. So cool man.
That car is coming along quick. Hard work

Maybe ok on a lighter colour..but with a darker colour a wool pad will leave halos ...
You weren't doing a heavy enough cut guide is generally when you start cutting with 600 or 800
