One of my favorite places on the coast!! Of course you have to eat at Gracies Seahag. Or The Chowder house. Better clam chowder than Moes!!

We would love to live on the Oregon coast, if there was more sun during the year.
Depending on time of year, females with calves will swim closer to shore. Part of the attraction of Depoe Bay is abundance of kelp beds where mom's teach babies to hunt.

Yes, they’ll be there. You can also pay to go see them close-up in a boat.
@@ramalamadingdong7576, I was just in Depoe Bay and, just as always, it a bit like coming home. In June, you will be at the late part of the migration north to the waters of Arctic. In March through the end of May...give or take, depends on the whales...is generally the time frame. Southern migration is, again generally, between September through December. There are are some great vista points for watching.

I bet you have some good coastal sea food restaurant's. Can you name a few?
Mo’s in Depot Bay or Seaside is always a go to for us. Clearwater Restaurant, Newport. Redfish, Port Orford. Kyllo’s Seafood & Grill, Lincoln City. And you got to check out Tidal Raves, Depoe Bay, they have awesome dining views of the Ocean.
