      If I don't have glutinous rice is it OK to use just regular rice?

      @Angie Harper yes it's fine, but the texture won't be the same if it has glutinous rice..

    This is a delicious chicken rice soup recipe or Philippines porridege. Thank goodness Asian markets are flourishing here in California and I can buy all the ingredients. Thanks for sharing.😍

    Ang sarap nito! Ganitong pagkakaluto ang gustong-gusto ko simula nung bata pa ako. Lalo na pag may kasubha... hindi ko alam kung nakakapagpalasa din yun pero mas masarap pag meron nun.

    masarap nga yang version mo,best chicken arroz caldo talaga, magaya nga yan, last week i ate for 1 week arroz caldo one stockpot ako lang kumain 4 times a day fave ko kasi lugaw na hot hot mainit na mapapaso dila mo yon gusto pag maligamgam lang or warm lang i dont like it,

    In my hometown , I know people who still cook caveman style especially the older folks . They just dump everything then boil . They hate herbs or spices . My father , aunts and uncles were so aversed to other cuisine . But the younger generations are open minded and adventurous . Thanks to social media and videos like yours . Gourmet has become mainstream .

    In just little oil fry luya, garlic at onions lagay na manok. Stir fry para lumabas mantika ng manok at maalis langsa.
    Rice babad ko for minutes at drain. Mas madali ng lumambot bigas. Stir kasama nagisa na manok. Stir tulad ng pagawa ng Chicken rice.
    Lagyan na ng kumukulong tubig.
    Mahal ang saffron.
    Instead use turmeric powder or annato seeds.
    Annato seeds boil in oil.
    Sya ng gamitin panggisa.
    Fish sauce at kalamansi juice adds flavor as condiments.
    My way of cooking or my version.
    Anyone can have a twist

    Looks so delicious. It would be complete with “tokwa, baboy” on the side😋. I see I can use saffron instead of “kasubha”, since I don’t think I’ll find it here in NYC, but I don’t think I should be using the same amount as the local “kasubha”. Thanks for sharing. I’ll definitely make this.
