My father , aunts and uncles were so aversed to other cuisine . But the younger generations are open minded and adventurous . Thanks to social media and videos like yours . In just little oil fry luya, garlic at onions lagay na manok. Stir fry para lumabas mantika ng manok at maalis langsa. Rice babad ko for minutes at drain. Mas madali ng lumambot bigas. Stir kasama nagisa na manok. Stir tulad ng pagawa ng Chicken rice. Lagyan na ng kumukulong tubig. Mahal ang saffron. Instead use turmeric powder or annato seeds. Annato seeds boil in oil. Sya ng gamitin panggisa. Fish sauce at kalamansi juice adds flavor as condiments. My way of cooking or my version. Anyone can have a twist
Looks so delicious. It would be complete with “tokwa, baboy” on the side😋. I see I can use saffron instead of “kasubha”, since I don’t think I’ll find it here in NYC, but I don’t think I should be using the same amount as the local “kasubha”. Thanks for sharing. I’ll definitely make this.

If I don't have glutinous rice is it OK to use just regular rice?
