Making Greece Great Again Hoi4 The Macedonian Empire RETURNS

- Hey guys, in today's video I'm going to be playing as Greece in Hearts of Iron 4 and aiming to bring back the macedonian empire. This ended up being quite a fun hoi4 campaign and it wasn't too easy nor too difficult. To form Macedonia in hoi4 you need to conquer Bulgaria, Albania, part of Yugoslavia, Turkey, British Egypt Palestine, French Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, and the areas around Tashkent in the Soviet Union. This means that I'll have to fight the Allies and the comintern in this campaign and while this seems like a lot, with a little bit of manipulation with my diplomacy I was able to manage this. Also, getting Albania wasn't too difficult either as I was able to sort of exploit the game by making a faction with Italy so they wouldn't join on Albania's side.

Honestly I wish I figured that faction thing out before doing a lot of my balkan games because it would've made it a lot easier for a lot of campaigns to get albania without fighting the axis.

Is there a certain trick you used that made the UK AI leave the north sea for that second, so that you were able to naval invade? I have done almost 3 runs now and this is only thing I always find difficult. Thanks
They usually start to leave the North Sea open after Germany defeats France and before the Germans declare war on the Soviet Union. However, if you're having trouble even then, you might just want to try to distract the AI by starting wars with neutral countries like Yugo or Sweden. Although with Sweden, they may become a major nation after France dies.
What type of divisions did you use? Because im so lost in that department when it comes to hoi4, sorry if that is a dumb question I am a begginer
For the war against Bulgaria I just fully equipped the starting army and then I used the starting infantry to build the rest of my army.

Do you not get 4 year plan for free if you faction with Italy? Ive done the bittersteel guide and 4 year unlocks auto while doing the modern movement focus.
Is this a mod or DLC. My one of favourite empire is Macedonian Empire and this way is cool

Crazy, how did u get naval supremacy in the british?
The AI sometimes moves its navy around which makes its naval power in the area weaker for a little bit so with a large enough navy it's enough of a change for me to get momentary supremacy and land.

No, I think you might get a core or claim for it though
Isn’t Cyrenaica, Benghasi and Derna necessary to form Macedonia?
No but I think you get cores on then after forming Macedonia
