    You could probably live in Alaska for a year and not be able to show it all! This was yet another perfect effort in featuring what makes Alaska a standout destination for scenery and adventure. I can’t help commenting out loud how beautiful it is when I’m watching.
    You packed SO much into the precious time you committed to be there this past summer. I can’t quite figure out… how in the world you even begin to choose what to edit! And you even slipped in some smooth new lyrics in this episode. So much work. Just a super job bringing this dream to life and sharing it with everyone. I will look forward to seeing this season wrap up and wind down the end of this very challenging and entertaining year of 2023. Thank you!

    Without a doubt, Valdez was our favorite place in all of Alaska! We cruised on the Lulu Belle, and Captain Fred is real treasure. Seeing the sea otters, sea lions, birds, and Columbia Glacier was an absolutely unforgettable experience. And the salmon at the fish hatchery were there in the millions! We sat there and watched everything for almost two days because it was so mesmerizing!

    The bathroom 🚻 break view was the best 👌, that glacier view from the side of the road was amazing 👏. Your beef, mushrooms and broccoli 🥦 plate 🍽 was very good, I never taught about cooking the beef in butter 🧈 first. Just when we taught there was no more better views to see in Alaska you surprise us with this awesome Valdez video.

    Robert love these extensive videos; much rather watch your vids than the garbage on TV. Love your consistency to content. Now question wasn’t this the City who’s Oil Tanker named the Valdez gushed oil and caused one of USA’s worst oil spillage in our history? Well l’ll look it up. One of my favorite places you have visited in Alaska. Absolutely beautiful stunning views and quaint township

    When Exxon wanted to put a terminal they offered the natives all kinds of incentives, mostly financial; all they asked is that Exxon do everything they could to preserve the local environment, including having adequete resourrces available in case of a spill to mitigate it; we all know how that turned out.

    For those wondering about the fish at the hatchery interacting with the weir (dam). There is nowhere for those fish to go. Salmon return to where they were born to spawn.
    This hatchery is man created. We put fish there to come back to that point. There is no more upstream to go. They are literally at their destination.
    Those salmon were released from floating pins just slightly off shore a few years ago.
    They are back and this is the end of the road. 100% of them will die shortly, not a single one lives, just like every other salmon.

    Hi Robert....I just want to give my opinion here. I have watched your videos for several years and really like them. You do an excellent job. BUT lately these videos have gotten too long. I avoid watching them when they are around 50 minutes long. I subscribe to many other RUclipsrs and I prefer a more concise video that is 30 minutes or less. But I do appreciate all the work you do to create these videos for us.

    • @auroranite
      @auroranite 8 месяцев назад

      Have you considered watching 30 minutes then pause and next day finish? I like the length, and sometimes split time viewing.

    • @jacalynfeit
      @jacalynfeit 8 месяцев назад

      @@auroranite Yes, I know you can do that. But what I was saying is that I prefer videos that are more concise & condensed, like Robert's videos used to be.

    Hi sir, I was watching a video on RUclips when I saw your channel. I really like your video content. But as a RUclips expert, I noticed one thing: your video views are getting less and less. Then I researched your channel and found that your video's SEO score is awful. Your video and I see that your video is not SEO optimized because your video is not for the targeted audience, your video gets fewer views and channel subscribers get fewer views. I can say that as a RUclips expert, if you can do SEO-friendly things for your channel and videos like searching for tags, hashtags, descriptions, and keywords then your RUclips channel and videos will develop rapidly. I think your RUclips channel will make your dream come true.
    thank you

    Sunday morning...time to hop in the shotgun seat and take in the sights of Alaska once again. I wonder how many other viewers can't think of Valdez without subconsciously putting "Exxon" in front of it? Keystone Canyon looks pretty spectacular--I love roads that run along rivers in deep canyons like that. Cool to see the fish hatchery--they are more interesting than one might expect, especially when situated in a scenic location. (Check out Jones Hole in Utah if you get a chance) Until next time, happy trails!
