- Today's video is a little different, but I hope you enjoy it. I spent two days in Destin and Fort Walton Beach with my friend Kristin and her family at the end of June. I was a little nervous to fly solo for the first time, but it was all fine. Those two days were such a needed break and I was so thankful for it. Travel vlogs are some of my favorites to create. I'm so blessed to have wonderful friends in my life who've been such a light over the last few months. I'd be lost without them!

It was so nice to see you get away for a visit with your friend and her family. There’s nothing like the beach to renew the soul. We go to the Destin area every year for a week of vacation usually in August, so it won’t be long before we go. We love that area so much!!!!! I definitely see restaurants in your video that I would like for us to check out while we are there this year. We usually eat at the same places every year so it will be good to try some new places this year. I love seeing Bonnie welcome you back home!!!! She is so precious!!!!! I know she and your kitties bring you a lot of peace, comfort and strength. Stephanie, you are always in my prayers. You are a very special woman. You might not of gotten to take him physically there yourself, but Timmy is seeing ALL the wonders of creation now and I bet he’s excited knowing the day will come when you will be seeing them together with no limitations!! Thank you for sharing your trip. I remember my plane trip out to California to visit my son and his family just a few months after my husband passed. It was bittersweet...sad that my husband was not with me but also happy to arrive and see my family. Grief is a journey that takes you on many different emotions, but I am so thankful that the Lord has been with me to navigate the course. He is with you. So glad that you enjoyed your well deserved trip to visit your friend.
So happy that you had this little get away! Friends will help so much in the days ahead and Kristin seems so thoughtful. But I know going home brings back more memories and longing for Timmy, grief is tough like that. Praying for you still.

Ocho and her ken doll. That’s gonna be hard to beat for today’s cutest thing. I literally giggled out loud, sittin here all by myself trying to cool down from cutting the grass. Got company coming in tomorrow from the Destin area (I’m in athens, GA). When they leave and inevitably will say, “Y’all come down and see us!”, I’m gonna take em up on it and make them take me to get that cheesecake that’s big as all outdoors! Yum!

Stephanie as I was watching this today I received I call I was waiting for from an assisted living about putting my mom in their care. As soon I hung up you started quoting footprints in the sand. God is good because I really needed that. Taking care of your parents is hard when they can no longer care for themselves. Bless you Stephanie

So sweet and wonderful friends. When you went down those stairs on that boat I thought OH NO she's gonna get sick, I know from experience. I never went on one of those boats but I been deep sea fishing and the only time I felt sick was when I went downstairs.
I used to live not far from Ft Walton Beach, I had a place on Hwy 87 south near Navarre for about 28 years, I sold that place in 2021 and moved a little farther north into farming rural area in northwest Florida almost to Alabama It's so peaceful up here I love it. It takes me about 1-1/2 hours to get to Ft Walton Beach now. It is beautiful water down there. I rarely go anymore but used to go a lot years ago.

Hi , just watching your new video. Glad you're having some fun. I was listening to you talk about wondering if you had done all you could for Timmy. I lost my husband 3 yrs ago and i felt guilty because i thought i had not been the best wife i could have been. I was in a long depression and i just shut down on everything. Thankfully the Lord helped me get thru it all.. I know if you could ask Timmy he would say you were a perfect wife.as for as the chair, you do what is best for you. Grief has no time table, everyone grieves in there on way and time. I watch all of your little blessed nest videos.I so enjoyed timmys singing. Keep up the videos and don't rush yourself. Love you girl.
