Every time I watch this I think back to when she first began to show signs of mental distress and how mean the media was to her. People laughed and laughed at her when she shaved her hair off. I always think: how could anyone feel anything but heartbreak and sadness for her at that time? She was tormented and made fun of relentlessly for something she had little control over. People were constantly obsessing over her every misstep and mistake, as if she wasn’t just a human. She is genuinely so adorable in this video. She never deserved the hate she endured.
I remember I was a kid when she was in her peak of fame. In 2006 when she shaved her hair off, a girl from my school said she threw all her cds out, I thought strange back then, but didn't care so much, but today as a grown woman I think "which kind of fan those people were?" threwing cds out exactly in the moment your fave artist most need suport... She really suffered a lot for the pressure of the fame.

I only recently saw her Will and Grace episode and she was hilarious (and also great in HIMYM). At the end of the day, all I want is for her to be happy, healthy and in control of her own life and choices. Every time I watch this I think back to when she first began to show signs of mental distress and how mean the media was to her. People laughed and laughed at her when she shaved her hair off. I always think: how could anyone feel anything but heartbreak and sadness for her at that time? She was tormented and made fun of relentlessly for something she had little control over. People were constantly obsessing over her every misstep and mistake, as if she wasn’t just a human. She is genuinely so adorable in this video. She never deserved the hate she endured.
